Venus Hotel
"Convenient and clean hotel with no frills."
Falling Leaves Lodge
"prices on this app were totally off whent from 190 then 350 then 750 for same day booking when we checked in that day price dropped back down to 3+200. 00 location not good"
Cassia Hill Resort
"Amazing location and room, but couldn’t really get service from the person at the front desk nor the one security guy on site who also functioned as the repair guy. We didn’t have lights to our shower area, side table, or front porch, and it was pitch black, but lighting couldn’t be remedied. It’s too bad we didn’t have more time to enjoy the location in the daylight."
Pine Ridge Lodge
"This Lodge outside San Ignacio and close to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve is managed in a very committed way by Neil and his style also affects the staff like Marcia in the service or the drivers George and Nadir. There is a very personal touch to it, where guests are greeted by name, and where one tries to do the best for any personal wishes. The location is ideal for outdoor activities, which can get organized through the accommodation. Thus we visited Caracol on our own with a driver from the Lodge or took together with other guests a tour to Xunantunich and Cahal Pech Maya ruins. Before arrival Neil offered us for our transfer from the airport to the Lodge a stop for free at the very worthwhile Belize Zoo with local animals in very natural surroundings. Our traditionally decorated room was quite basic with no outdoor seating and no WiFi, with no bed lamps and just one socket, so we used it mainly for sleeping and a shower. But one can take a nice walk on the grounds to a small river and waterfall. It can be that sometimes traffic noice is heard from the nearby road, especially with big vehicles used for the works on the road to Caracol. A place to be is the quite big hall (with WiFi), where on one side reception is located and where breakfast and dinner is served. The food was a highlight here, a mixture of Belizean and English specialities, mostly prepared by Neil himself, who cannot deny his background. So besides Garnaches or Fry Jack for breakfast or Bollos and Tamales on Banana Leaf as starters for dinner we also had Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Beef and Mashed Potatoes. My wife and me left this place with very fond memories."
Crystal Paradise Resort
"We had a great experience here. The Tut family provided fantastic lodging in the village of Cristo Rey and helped me to arrange and provided transportation for other day trips. We enjoyed home-cooked breakfasts and dinners at the lodge. In quiet moments, we enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck to bird watch. We were able to walk down to the river to cool off and into the village for smaller expeditions. Everything was smooth and perfect - everything I hoped for out of the trip!"
Maya Bella Downtown Hotel
"A pleasant hotel located in the center of San Ignacio, close to the bus stop and several restaurants. The balcony with the pool is a lovely place to spend the late afternoon. Although breakfast isn't included, they offer black coffee with bananas, which is a nice touch for those leaving very early for excursions."
The West House Boutique Hotel
The Log Cab-Inn
"I can speak English. It was very comfortable with a beautiful camping image."
Rolson Hotel
"It was just okay, considering the price"

Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge
"Another great stay at Kane Villas. This trip is our 3rd time staying here and everything has always been well taken care of. We rented out all 3 Villas and as always, they are stocked with the necessary things for a great stay. The Pool and grill area was a highlight for family night, grilling and enjoying the pool. Thank to Nello for keeping the grounds and pool impeccable. Catherine, thank you for always getting us booked and in us having a place to stay in the MPR. Overall Kane Villas is a true Gem in this area full of serenity. Highly recommend!!! Thank you!"
Las Haciendas
"We spent 6 nights at Las Haciendas and highly recommend it as a place to base yourself in San Ignacio. The room (1 bedroom Villa) was spacious and clean. The kitchen nook perect for our cooking needs. The bathroom extremely spacious with a huge walki-in shower. And the plunge pool made for relaxing afternoons/evenings after hot tours in the area. The location is on the outskirts of San Ignacio but within walking distance of a couple supermarkets and restaurants, as well as, the Mayan archeological site Cahal Pech. We also walked into town for dinner a couple times (30 minutes). Leda, the manager, was absolutely fantastic with prior communications and organizing our tours. Literally the best we’ve ever dealt with. Abi, the on-site maintenance manager was also great responding to a couple small issues we had - gecko in the outside air con unit made contact on the control board and shorted outh the system but he rectified that immediately. One hint regarding the AC…the indoor unit blows toward the bed which we didn’t like so we hung a blanket over the bed canopy structure bars to block the AC from hitting us directly. Also, if you set it on DRY mode at night, the fan speed slows down and we slept great. Highly highly recommend staying at Las Haciendas. Quality-price ratio versus many of the resorts we checked online was why we chose to stay here and it really paid off. Thanks to all the staff!"
The Lodge at ChaaCreek
"Deron was the highlight of a spectacular trip although everyone who works around Chaa Creek is incredibly friendly, kind and accommodating. We did ziplining and cave tubing and it was perfect, we also did the RTV tour which was so fun and exciting for all of us. The open hearth kitchen experience was really worth it, and one of the best meals we had. We made shrimp ceviche, chicken and rice and beans and it was a gourmet meal. Chaa Creek did not disappoint in ANY way. Be aware that some of the rooms have open bathrooms and showers with no doors. Our teenagers sharing a room were NOT amused but figured it out."
Blancaneaux Lodge by Francis Ford Coppola
"We stayed here to celebrate our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding anniversary with them, and cannot express how magical, stunning, breathtaking, and nurturing the experience was. The staff was outstanding. Our villa was gorgeous, but in the most authentic and eco-friendly way. Eating food grown on the property was also a plus. This was a one-of-a-kind experience. My only caution is that it is situated on a hill with lots of steps. The activities and hikes in the area are somewhat challenging, but worth it."
Table Rock Lodge
"We spent 3 nights at the Table Rock Jungle Lodge with our two teenage boys and absolutely loved it. The setting is serene and beautiful with the lodges spread out for privacy yet the dining room, pool, hammocks, and river are close by. The food was delicious and freshly made with specials each day. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful with a table waiting for us for reach meal. We arranged a tour through the lodge to go cave canoeing and the guide was friendly and shared so much history with us. We also did excursions on our own to Mountain Pine Ridge and the ruins and the staff provided us pointers. We also enjoyed the serene infinity pool, river float, game room, and animals on site. Highly recommend Table Rock Jungle lodge for your jungle visit."
Ka'Ana Resort & Spa
"The room was very clean and spacious. All the waiters are warm and attentive. We were leaving for a tour group early in the morning, so we asked the front desk to arrange a packed breakfast in advance."
