"The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Salzburg Train Station. I met a Chinese lady at check-in who was very nice. It is within walking distance of the old town and the fortress. The restaurant on the basement floor of the hotel is also good. Recommended!"

"Recommended, cost-effective. Clean and quiet, breakfast is not bad. In addition to the place is not in the city center, but the bus stop is across the road. The restaurant in the brewery/beer museum not far away is superb, the fried pork chops are delicious, and the fresh beer is super delicious. The environment is clean and spacious. The hotel also gave a free beer ticket. We ate for two days because it was really delicious 😋"

"What an exquisite hotel in central location. So much history with this hotel. The Staff all went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and great information on places to visit etc. The breakfast was fantastic we were spoilt for choice just disappointed i couldn’t try it all. The staff were wonderful making sure we had all we wanted and if we wanted more, especially the the lady in charge what a welcoming smile. The dinning room was beautifully layed and ai so inviting. Thank you"

"The location of the hotel was further away from the train station, but it is very close to the old town and most of the local attractions. The hotel promotes and encourages its customers to save water by offering free glass of wine per room night for reusing towels."

"We arrived at the hotel at about 13:00. The front desk said that the room was ready for check-in and gave us a room on the first floor (Room 101). After entering the room, we felt that the floor was too low, so we asked if we could change to a higher floor. The front desk said that there was a room upstairs and we needed to wait for 2 hours to clean it up or pay extra to choose another room type. We returned to the room in the principle of avoiding trouble. At this time, my husband suddenly found that our room had no balcony, and we booked a Junior Suite view on the Ctrip platform. The picture showed that it had a balcony! And the area was also larger! After we compared it, we found that the Room 101 given to us was not the room type we booked, nor was it in the pictures of the room type on the official website or any platform, so we continued to communicate with the front desk. She said that they were all the same, some had balconies and some did not. I said that we booked the Junior Suite view because we saw the picture had a balcony. After the communication, we chose to wait for 2 hours, and the front desk said to change us to a room with a balcony. Then we were outside until 17:00 and came back to check in. We found that the changed room (Room 311) was indeed larger than the previous one, but there was still no balcony. But we don't want to bother anymore. The things that made me dissatisfied with this stay are: 1. The room type reserved for us at the beginning was not the room type we booked. The front desk also admitted that Room 101 was smaller. After we communicated, we said that we wanted a balcony. The front desk asked us to wait for 2 hours for the room with a balcony to be cleaned up, but in the end the room still had no balcony. I checked through booking and Ctrip, and there were 5 Junior Suite views left that day, and there was no problem of tight supply. 2. When we first entered the room, we were given afternoon tea snacks, Sacher cake and chocolate, but we immediately asked to change rooms and they were not moved. I thought they would be put in the room we changed, but they disappeared directly... Yes, they disappeared. We said before we changed rooms that the snacks were not moved! They were gone directly. 3. When we left, we had suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 handbag, and the staff did not help with the luggage, and even did not open the hotel door for us... In short, this stay was not pleasant."

"The hotel was fantastic value for money in Salzburg! A little further from the station, but can walk in under 10mins. Imauer Hotel seems more popular with the locals, and has a great restaurant. Recommended to stay in Sheraton, and eat at the Imauer restaurant."

"Room is small for superior double room but alright for a couple. Cleanliness in room is good. Bathroom is split betwn wet & dry area.. location is about 10 to 15mins walk from Salzburg station to hotel. Hotel located opposite Mirabell garden. And quite a few Asian eateries ard esp walking distance to this eatery place call Rechnung at Mirabellplatz. Serving both Chinese n sushi. Awesome food n servers. Dieter from the information and tourism desk has been exceptionally helpful & friendly. . Showing us where to go n must try eateries. Downside will be Breakfast average, not as fantastic spread. Other than that, all is good & I'll go bk this hotel again. Thanks"

"Fabulous hotel! Warm, clean ,and friendly ! The staff are extremely helpful explaining how to see the sights, find the buses and trains and the best places to eat . The hotel is so handy for everything.. all within easy walking distance Free tea and coffee station was lovely, with a cosy place to sit . Microwave if you need it too. Nice bar . Beautiful bedrooms Small supermarket opposite hotel. Taxi rank outside. Now ,the breakfast was amazing!!! Everything you could possibly want, beautifully presented. If I go back to Salzburg , I will stay here! Thanks. to all"

"I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched."
