Ibis Reading Centre ★★★
"Great location and friendly staff. But the room had a musky tobacco smell."
The Roseate Reading ★★★★★
"The location is in the center of Reading, very close to the train station, convenient for travel. The room is in another building and there are staff to help with luggage. The room is nice with a balcony. The hotel restaurant food is also OK. I went late on the day of check-in and only some dishes were available. The wine was good. The hotel made a mistake in the bill when checking out and charged me an extra fee. I negotiated with the platform and got it refunded. Overall I feel satisfied."
Garner Hotel READING CITY CENTRE by IHG ★★★
"Extremely clean, spacious room, got an upgrade. Very safe, staff are excellent, and there's air conditioning!!! Highly recommended, and it's new! The only downside was not seeing an elevator 🛗; if you have a lot of luggage, you can request a lower floor. Very quiet."
Pentahotel Reading ★★★★
"The experience was average, you can tell the facilities are aging since the shower basin started turning yellow at parts. The duvet was also very old and not too well cleaned since it caused my eczema prone skin to breakout, which the Airbnb I stayed at in the same town did not cause."
Travelodge Reading Whitley ★★★
"Been staying in Whitley travelodge on and off over the past 6 months and have found the staff excellent especially Anthony"
Malmaison Reading ★★★★
"Great location with easy access to centre and surrounding areas. Staff were very friendly and they had a great umbrella hire machine and we decided to not have housekeeping and were offered vouchers for drinks. Overall great service and an enjoyable stay 😃"
voco READING by IHG ★★★★
"The family room I booked has two large beds and is quite spacious. We arrived at night and the front desk staff had a general attitude. They didn't ask or explain anything about breakfast or parking."
Novotel Reading Centre ★★★★
"Easy check-in And out. Friendly staff. The only drawback was the Resteraunt was fully booked for the weekend"
Travelodge Reading Central ★★★
"Boiling hot room with no air conditioning, on a main road which meant we couldn't keep the window open and the worst most uncomfortable cheap pillows i've ever had. And to cap it all they had no left luggage facilities which really impacted on our day. Terrible experience. Worst hotel i've been in for a long time."

"Quiet, nice service"
The Mill House
"Gorgeous food, great wine and good value for money. Enjoyed the wine too much so decided to stay the night. Fantastic room and had a good night’s sleep. We have never had a bad meal or poor service dining here over the years. The staff and management are always polite and helpful."
De Vere Wokefield Estate
"A great room for a solo traveller, a huge king size bed and all facilities. They do tend to put singles in the Wellington lodge which is a 10 minute walk to the pool facilities."
Premier Inn Reading Central
"Perfect location, clean, friendly staff especially Dilshan who couldn’t do enough for us and worked so hard"
The Bird in Hand
Travelodge Reading M4 Eastbound
"as a coach driver a good night sleep and somewhere to securely park the coach are my top priorities when booking a hotel the parking was problematic due to lorries parking in all the coach bays at the services the lack of Aircon is a major concern especially when most other national hotel chains have Aircon in every room this hotel doesnt have it at all and with temperatures hitting 38c the 1 desktop fan in the room is doing nothing but blow very hot air around leading to a very hot sticky uncomfortable nights attempted sleep literally dripping with sweat as soon as I enter the room no breakfast or dinner at this hotel except the highly overpriced services food outlets"
Victoria House by Aeria Apartments
"Very spacious apartment in city centre."
