"If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! I came across This hotel on instagram and I knew I just had to book it! We have traveled through China and stayed at lots Of different hotels and but this has been by far the best hotel for service and everything. Love love love our room and view! Definitely try to book building 2, as it’s the main building. The kids loved playing outside, it’s like our backyard, has everything from playground to animals and all different experience. The kids loved the outdoor pool! The breakfast was good, abit of everything. They even provided us with afternoon high tea as well as Chinese desert soup delivered to my room. Not to mention i troubled the hotel staff to collect my online shopping for me from local post office and they did it with no explain. Had a butler service who managed everything for us. Totally worth every penny! I would definitely come back to LS hotel again in the future and without my kids!"

"The hardware is top-notch. The hotel hasn't been open long, so everything is brand new. It's equipped with Tmall Genie for smart control and smart toilets, really emphasizing the high-tech aspect. The front desk lady even upgraded me to a larger suite for free, which had a huge bathtub – though I didn't get to use it. The screen-mirroring TV felt just like being in a movie theater. The staff's service attitude was absolutely outstanding. Because the parking lot is a bit of a distance from the hotel, when I went to Xiangong Mountain to watch the sunrise at 4:30 AM, a young man from the front desk personally took me to my car. Later, when I went rafting, the front desk staff used a shuttle cart to pick me up and drop me off. What's more, all the staff – from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping – would greet me with a ”hello” or ”good morning” whenever we met, which was very polite and a rare find in China, earning a big thumbs up. Other hotel staff should really take a leaf out of From Time Slow's book. Overall, I was very satisfied. The breakfast was also rich, clean, hygienic, and offered a wide variety of choices. The value for money at From Time Slow is truly exceptional!"

"Honestly! This guesthouse in Yangshuo truly captured my heart 🌾. It's nestled deep within the rice fields of the Ten-Mile Gallery, surrounded by mountains, making for an incredibly peaceful environment. Away from the bustling crowds of the city, with endless pastoral landscapes and mountains, it's incredibly relaxing and destressing. The infinity pool offers breathtaking views directly overlooking the rice paddies and mountains, perfect for amazing photos. The overall decor is simple and comfortable, and the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views, so you can enjoy the mountains and rice fields right from your bed. The service is also very attentive, and the overall stay experience was excellent. "This is a very relaxing and comfortable mountain hotel. The surroundings offer beautiful mountain views, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking distant peaks, creating a very tranquil atmosphere. Sipping a pot of tea here truly defines a relaxing vacation. The facilities are excellent and comprehensive, featuring smart home controls, a bathtub, and a vanity, making everything very convenient and intelligent. The overall design is incredibly comfortable and stylish. The service is very thoughtful; we even received a welcome gift during our stay, and they were patient and detailed when providing recommendations for local attractions. In terms of cleanliness, it's impeccable – from the bathroom to the washroom and bedding areas, everything is spotlessly clean, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. We also noticed some beautifully designed decorations, which made for great photos. Overall, it's a high-quality, design-focused hotel that's definitely worth experiencing."

"Came here specifically for the Instagram-worthy white pool, and it truly is beautiful and great for photos! If you're bringing kids, I recommend the family castle room; my little one absolutely loved it! The room decor is super cozy, and a bath in the room at night was so relaxing. There's even a slide inside, so the kids can play while I enjoy afternoon tea. It's conveniently located near West Street and the Yulong River. In the evening, they thoughtfully prepared a self-service selection of bedtime desserts and mung bean porridge – perfect for families with kids like us! Oh, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles – absolutely amazing!"

"Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and very comfortable, giving us great peace of mind. It was also wonderfully quiet, as there weren't many guests. The beer-braised fish at the downstairs restaurant was incredibly fresh and flavorful – absolutely delicious! The guesthouse even has its own little bar, serving up tasty cocktails in a lovely atmosphere. And the small courtyard with its beautiful scenery shows how much thought and care went into everything. Overall, the experience was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!"

"The hotel is located in the mountains, and the upside is that opening the window to a mountain view is very healing. However, the downside is that transportation is quite inconvenient. It's about 3 kilometers to town for meals, and you either have to take a taxi or rent an electric scooter for 30 yuan a day. The breakfast at this price point was the worst I've ever had – pitifully few options, not even any meat... The sliced bread didn't even come with butter... And the coffee was terrible (they claimed to offer various coffees all day, but in the afternoon there was no milk, so essentially only Americano was available 😅). It's worse than an economy hotel like Home Inn, what a mess! 😓 The butler service via WeChat was decent, but the housekeeping... On the first day, they completely missed cleaning the room, even though we had requested it. What's even crazier is that I saw staff enter the room before we left, and it turned out to be maintenance changing a socket (why wasn't this done before check-in, and without any heads-up? 😅)."

"The location and views are unbeatable, and the service is great. However, for a hotel at this price point, the hygiene standards are lacking. The towels in the guest room were black, there was yellow mold on the bathroom floor, and the room floor hadn't been cleaned properly. Secondly, the complimentary afternoon tea was awful; the fruit was mediocre and the nuts weren't even crunchy anymore. It felt like they just threw something together as an afterthought for the afternoon tea. For comparison, in Chengdu, a 'Citrus Hotel' at 300-400 RMB offers a fruit plate with very fresh, seasonal fruits, 3-4 different kinds. It definitely gives you a ”Wow!” feeling initially, but after one bite, it's more like ”Ugh.” You just eat it in silence."

"After browsing dozens of guesthouses on the platform, we finally settled on ShanShui BieYuan Guesthouse. I read a lot of reviews before making a decision, and while there were good and bad ones, I can confirm it's truly worth it! Our family trip found this place to be excellent value for money. There's so much for kids to do: they can try 'Touhu' (pitch-pot game), make lacquer fans – my child was so proud of their handmade fan! The calligraphy experience, writing blessings, was also a nice touch. They also offer Hanfu, Qipao, and Guangxi Zhuang ethnic costume experiences. The room size was just right for us, feeling very cozy and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean, every corner was immaculate, and the attention to detail truly showed they care for their guests. From the front desk manager to the auntie who cooks breakfast, everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us and asking how we were. The courtyard is super photogenic, and there's a small boat you can paddle. You can spend a whole day just feeding and catching fish in the courtyard. We relaxed on the tea table on the second floor, letting the kids play freely – it was so relaxing! Just sipping tea and reading a book made for a perfect holiday. The day we checked in, there was even a teacher hired to teach many foreigners traditional Chinese crafts, which was very cool and authentic. Both older guests like us and the foreigners really enjoyed the traditional Chinese style. The hotel has a very large parking lot, complete with charging stations. Next to the parking lot is a lawn where you can play, swing on a swing, or even camp. It's super convenient for sightseeing: a 15-minute drive to Qian Gu Qing Scenic Area and the Liu Sanjie performance theater, and only 20 minutes to Ruyi Peak Scenic Area and Silver Rock Cave. Didi (ride-hailing) cars are readily available and pick you up right at the entrance. The hotel is also just 170 meters from the Qing'e Ferry Pier rafting point. Electric bikes are available for rent at the hotel entrance – 30 yuan a day in low season, 50 yuan for half a day in high season. Renting one lets you cycle to the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River Scenic Area in just 5 minutes. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were delicious and chewy, very clean and hygienic – I had two bowls! They also had dumplings, congee, corn, sweet potatoes, soy milk, steamed buns, and some pickled vegetables. I was incredibly satisfied and full! We'll definitely come back next time; my child had such a memorable time they didn't want to leave. "I booked the Alina room type for two nights in advance for the May Day holiday. After checking into the Marshmallow Hotel, I entered the room and immediately noticed a strong smoke smell. I was traveling with my child, and a smoky room was completely uninhabitable and bad for kids. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a different room of the same type, but the hotel said they didn't have any available. Normally, in such a situation, they would offer a free upgrade. Ultimately, the hotel suggested an upgrade with an additional charge. Considering it was a May Day holiday and rooms were scarce, a paid upgrade was understandable, so I agreed. We were then upgraded to the 'Urunsemu Cave Secret King Suite,' and for this, I must commend the hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, allowing my child to run around and play freely, with plenty of room to move. It was very comfortable. The only drawback was on the night of May 2nd, Yangshuo experienced a heavy downpour, and the drainage pipe in the room made a very loud noise all night long, indicating that the hotel's soundproofing was a bit lacking. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the upgraded room type. Aside from the smoke smell and minor soundproofing issues, everything else was fine, and the overall experience of staying with a child was decent."
