"Pittsburgh's historic hotel was built in 1961. The room looks like an old star hotel. I like the lighting. It's very comfortable to lie down and rest at night. The location of the hotel is also good! The front desk service is a bit poor, but everything else is good! The people at the VALET parking service are very nice, but the hotel doesn’t have slippers or toothbrushes or toothpaste."

"The check in front desk service was very friendly and knowledgeable! The hotel was clean and nice. The beds were comfortable, the shower got hot and steamy! The bathroom products like soap, lotion and etc smelled nice and refreshing! We overslept so we missed breakfast but the breakfast aroma lingered throughout the lobby and was pleasant. Nice & clean overall!"

"We checked in pretty late. There was only one bath towel in the bathroom. We asked the front desk for more towels because we were out all day and I needed to take my kids a bath, but was Informed that we had to wait for 45min to an hour because they did not have any clean towels. Even though I booked the room for my 3 kids and I. Then we noticed the bathtub. The bathroom was dirty. It literally had hair in the tub and brownish stein from the mold that wasn’t cleaned. The front desk offered us another room right next to us to literally take a shower. But it was also dirty. Idk I have never stayed at a hotel with these bad steins before. Is that the new normal? The only thing they could offer was free breakfast even though we had already with our reservation. Never booking again."

"Friendly staff! The hotel is admittedly a tad old, and could be well maintained. I had a desk lamp fall on me and hurt my forehead, and there was a night where my room lock didn't respond to the keycard or master key. Nakeima herself had given my roommate and I a whole room for the duration and we ended up gaining access the morning after."
