"Not worth it in the slightest. Rooms have a weird smell when first arriving. staff is not helpful or friendly. Cannot close the bathroom door completely because it gets stuck and you will be trapped inside the bathroom."

"The hotel's location is decent; the lobby on the fifth floor has many facilities, and there's a public parking lot across the street. We arrived in the evening, thinking of getting something to eat nearby, but the environment felt unsafe, with a lot of homeless people. The room looked alright, but the cleanliness of the details wasn't great. The sheets had strange wrinkles, making me feel like they hadn't been changed, but I had no proof. The towel rack was covered in dust, looking like it hadn't been wiped down in a long time. I hope the hotel will improve its hygiene management."

"The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Pitt and Carnegie Mellon. It's also very convenient to get to Costco, Target, Panda Asian Supermarket, various specialty small supermarkets, and restaurants by bus. The room is well-equipped with all the usual kitchen essentials, and the refrigerator is a practical, full-sized one, not a mini-fridge. The room is clean, tidy, and spacious. What's particularly noteworthy is that this is the most female-friendly bathroom I've ever encountered in a hotel. The lighting is absolutely perfect for women who need to use a mirror or apply makeup daily. It's very bright, with a color temperature of around 5500K, which is a godsend for makeup application. I've stayed in countless hotels, and even five-star ones often have bathroom lighting that isn't ideal for women. Women don't need mood lighting in a hotel bathroom; they need practicality! Perhaps all hotel designers are male, which is why they overlook this critical flaw for women. So, this hotel is truly worth staying at, especially for women."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh - Green Tree

"On a hill not far from the city. It covers a large area with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The room is also large enough, but toiletries, slippers, etc. are not provided. The facilities are very complete, with supermarkets and restaurants open until late. Ice machines, microwaves, and many details are well done. The parking lot needs to be early or it will be crowded. Free parking is a big advantage."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. The hotel staff is very friendly and proactive in helping with parking. The hotel is also very clean and I would go there again next time."

"The best was so comfy I did not want to leave. Centrally located between the football and baseball stadium. Lots of food choices nearby and the continental breakfast was great."

"The location is very good for Pitt or Carnegie-Mellon. The room was great and the check-in was friendly and fast. The parking is adjacent so that was nice. Sad to pay an additional $22 on top of room The bar was lively enough without being too much I was happy to be able to get breakfast starting at 6:30- and the food was good. I will stay here again."

"We LOVED this hotel and were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful everything was! Only downtown hotel with free parking we could find, which you use your room key to access. Room was SPOTLESS and honestly felt brand new! Bathroom was spacious and clean, and even the provided hair products worked really well for me. Staff were super kind and efficient. Bed was comfy, breakfast the next morning was included and very good, with a decent amount of hot breakfast as well as pastries/cereals etc. We plan to have more trips to Pitt in the future and will definitely be staying here again, no questions! Felt so much nicer than a budget hotel… just wow!"
