The question arose as to which hotel to book. I spent a long time surfing the websites and accidentally read in the reviews about Trip.com. We chose a hotel firstly on the 1st line, secondly near the airport, but so that you could not hear the planes. On the Google map I found the Nai Yang Beach Resort and Spa hotel and did not regret it. The room was only 5,000 rubles per day. So it turned out to be 200,000 rubles for two for 12 days. Travel agencies did not offer less than 300,000 rubles, and a flight on an airline where we did not have bonuses. We made insurance for 8,000 rubles for two. About the hotel. The hotel is simply gorgeous. The entire territory is in palm trees and other exotic trees. Not some kind of human anthill. Two swimming pools. Nearby restaurants and Thai street vendors. Bed linen was changed every day! Where else can you find such service. All things (luggage) are carried by a hotel employee. We lived on the 2nd floor and there is even an elevator. There is a transfer to the airport for about 400 baht. Those who flew on packages, the travel agency made them a trip to Phi Phi for $ 250 per person. While my wife was sunbathing on the beach, I walked along the shopping street and found a package to Phi Phi for $ 100 for two! In the morning, they picked us up in a luxury minibus and in the evening they brought us to the hotel. The only thing is that the guide spoke English, but I did not listen to him and everything was clear anyway. Overpaying 5 times more (for two it would have been $ 500). Moreover, you could bargain with the Thai woman who sold it, but I did not know. She already knocked it down (she offered a larger amount), but it turns out you could knock the price down even more. About the beach. The beach is gorgeous, the hotel provides towels. You can not take a sun lounger, 30 meters from the shore there are palm trees and other trees like on Sanatornaya in Vladivostok. You can hide from the scorching sun. Moreover, you can eat at cafe tables right on the beach and everything is very cheap, not like on steep beaches. The most important thing is that the beach is located behind breakwaters and a coral reef, i.e. there are no rip currents. When we went to the airfield to take photos of planes approaching for landing, I saw red flags on another beach. Then I read that this is how they mark dangerous zones in Thailand, where a rip current can drag you into the sea. Secondly, this beach was not captured by the tsunami, since there were breakwaters and a coral reef. When relaxing on the beach, you can take selfies with flying planes. They fly far away and the roar is not heard. It turns out that there is a place nearby where turtles lay eggs and then the turtles run to the sea, but they are guarded. This happens in the fall, tourists are specially brought to see this miracle of nature.
