I would confidently rate it 5...great hotel. For me there are now 2 great hotels in Kata. This is Metadi and Aurico...in general they are very similar...
pros:
- of course a huge multi-level pool with access for 1 floors
- a quiet calm hotel with a huge territory...without active evening programs...at 20:00 there is no one anywhere...great for us)
- very friendly staff
- rooms in good condition...there is everything you need
- shuttles to the main road through Kata beach
- frequent good cleaning of rooms
cons:
- mosquitoes...no automatic repellent...there is a "manual" one...how to use it?)
- the bar and the second restaurant are wonderful...we only had breakfast there, because there is no one there))...but no one really cares about them as far as I know and they are already packed up at 21:30...strange

It was our first trip to Phuket, so we chose Metadi Resort over and over again!!^^
Our choice was not wrong. We arrived on a night flight, checked in at midnight, got our room assignment, and exclaimed in amazement at the view of the accommodation^__^
The room condition was not bad either..but the shower room didn't have a door, so we splashed water all over the first day and changed rooms the next day, so we had a great time.
We chose a full access room because we have a child and a husband who love water, but the pool connected to the terrace was like our own pool villa, and the endlessly connected pool was
really the best!!! Everyone was worried because they said the breakfast wasn't that great, but we ate it so deliciously. I can't forget the Korean bossam that came out the second day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The resort was well-managed, so it was nice to take a walk after eating, and we could ride the buggy right away, so we went to the hotel's main entrance comfortably and went around Kata Beach for 2 days, going left and right.
I was so sad that we had to move the resort after 3 nights. Next time I go to Phuket, I'll go to Metadi without hesitation!!!!!
