This is a top notch hotel with instant access to the pool rightbout your back door. Nice pool bar with happy hour prices. The beds here are so soft and comfortable. The shower is awesome and there is a large tub too. A refrigerator and a safe are available. Good TV with a few English/American movie stations. The staff are very helpful and went out of there way to make sure we had directions, a place to park and info on great restaurants. It is a short walk to the Bangla walking street amd right across the street from Patong Beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Got to stay in a newly renovated room, but unfortunately the construction noise was too loud dust was everywhere. If I had known there was renovation going on, I would’ve avoided checking in — there was no notice at all. Requested to change rooms because it was too noisy every morning. Got pool access room had dark-colored walls, making it hard to see personal items, and the replacement room wasn’t renovated. Overall, the staff and service were excellent.

Wonderful Stay Despite Ongoing Renovation – Great Service!
We stayed at DoubleTree Phuket for three nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel arranged a newly renovated room for us, which we really liked. However, since lower floors were still under renovation, there was some noise starting from around 8 AM. To make up for the inconvenience, the hotel offered us complimentary breakfast — a thoughtful gesture!
On the second morning, the sound of metal being moved woke us up early. It was a bit disturbing, but understandable due to the ongoing work. On the third morning, I casually mentioned the noise to a staff member (who I believe was the manager), and he immediately offered to help us move to a more convenient room. After discussing with our friends, we were pleasantly surprised when the hotel contacted us and upgraded us to a ground-floor room right next to the pool. We were very satisfied with the new room and truly appreciated the hotel’s attention to guest comfort.
The service at this hotel was outstanding. The location is also excellent — just steps from the beach and close to Central Patong. Everything you need is within walking distance.
We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again once the renovations are complete!

Very good location and nice room. During our stay, renovation was on-going but that doesn’t affect us much as we are out most of the time. Breakfast spread is good in my opinion, especially the warmth welcomed service from the front desk, the house keeping ladies, breakfast servicing crew and the kitchen staff (Ms. Mona). And thank you for the birthday cake & decor for my friend! Thank you DoubleTree! I will be back! :) (ps: KIM Massage is just at the door step, very good and convenient for those who enjoy the relaxation from a good massage.)

The front desk (a lady manager ) discriminated against Asian face.
She didn’t inform us there have ready room yet . She told us need to wait two more hours to get the room after finish our check in procedure and receive the deposit frm us . I was saw she put the room card in the room card holder . I thought that was for us . Until she told us the room nt ready . Is fine. But then after that one pair of old lady they can have room . And then one more Europe face man is walk in ,because I heard their conversation. He has no booking before and he also get the room card . After while , I ask the other front desk (man worker) only the old lady manager say can give me room after 5minutes. So weird . If I don’t complain and ask . She will give me room after two hours without inform me before the check in procedure. I hope the hotel can improve this communication and discriminate issue.
