Impeccable service. It was very thoughtful of the staff to surprise us with a complimentary birthday cake. The amenities were great. So many things to do inside the resort, you wouldn’t even need to leave.

Great hospitality with access to the beach and multiple pools available. Breakfast buffet servings are wode ranging and covers the dietary needs of most people.

The best choice for family with kids, my son really love the pool, slide and lazy river. Great fasilities and friendly staff. A special thanks to Amah, Ray, Ziyad, and housekeeper name John who clean our room everyday. They also have Halal cert for chicken. Breakfast spread got veriety and they also serve thai ice tea & green ice tea everyday! Will repeat again next year!

Nice resort on a very good location. It has a beautiful beach in front, good pools for children and adults. Staff is very friendly and manager was helpful and gave us room that is more convenient for a family and closer to the beach and pools. Breakfast is very good, buffet diners were amazing with a lot of fresh sea food. Next to the resort there is a nice local beach restaurant

Everything was amazing, the resort is massive with many facilities and 5 pools! The few things that can be fixed are the interior / touch ups on the interior as some of the furniture was showing its age throughout the property (but that doesnt make it a deal breaker at all!). There were 2 lizards and one giant cockroach outside our room (in the private pool area) that would come everyday after sunset - making the pool unusable for my wife and daughter. The last night we stayed there was heavy rain and wind which caused some sort of an issue with the electricity in the resort and the lights in the whole resort kept going on off and on for about 15 mins but then was fixed (kinda scary to be honest). Lastly, please don't close all of the resorts facilities at night, its a beautiful and huge place, you should keep some parts of the resort open for those who wish to spend sometime outside their room, eating, walking, drinking whatever. All in all, what a great and unexpected resort, would 10/10 recommend!

Hotel is right on the beach in Karon (only hotel which offers this I believe) so the location is perfect for those who want beach access. Nothing else in the nearby area though, apart from a beach restaurant called Daengs - very reasonably priced food and drinks here; you will visit this place plenty rather than eating and drinking in the hotel. Compared to what you get outside, the hotels prices are high and you’d be foolish to eat all the time in the hotel with so many great food options in Karon, Patong and Kata. Karon town centre is about a 15-20 min walk along the beach - you have to cross a river on the beach so be prepared to get wet feet. Otherwise the walk into town is on a busy road with no walkway, so be prepared to use Bolt (this is best for Phuket NOT Grab) or a taxi to get anywhere from this hotel unless you walk along the beach. Our room was huge - Premium Room - and we had a huge wraparound balcony. However the balcony seemed like a bit of a waste of space (the “lounge” area was outside) - personally I think if it’s going to be designed as a suite with a lounge area, that should be inside the room not on the balcony as it was a waste of space. I’d probably only book this room category if I liked sitting outside all the time - a standard balcony with more space inside would’ve worked better. Having said that, the buildings and the grounds are IMMACULATE and BEAUTIFUL and you really do feel like you are staying in a paradise resort. The pool areas are great, there is a lazy river, slides and a cliff you can jump off - it’s a lot of fun for water babies! The only downside (other than no 7-11 or no other restaurants nearby) is that there are a LOT OF STAIRS to tackle here at the resort. There seem to be only 2 x elevators which will take you from the ground floor up to the bedrooms - and they are situated at either end of all the blocks. We stayed in block 4 and it was a 15 min trek back to the room from the pool. Or you walk up 72 stairs…yes, 72 stairs, to get to your block. Not advisable for elderly or infirm people. If there were more elevators (and clearly marked step free access) then this would make the resort a lot better.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool is large and well-maintained, offering a great place to unwind. They also provide a variety of activities, which is a nice touch—though not complimentary, it's worth exploring for those looking to stay active. The buffet breakfast was decent, with enough variety to start the day right. What truly stood out, though, was how they handled my birthday celebration request—I was genuinely impressed by the thoughtful gesture and attention to detail. It made the stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with good facilities and warm service!

This was our second time at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket (we first stayed here in 2019), and it felt like coming home to paradise. The direct access to the nearly private beach is unbeatable—it’s one of the very few resorts in Phuket where you can walk straight from the hotel to the sand without crossing any roads. It makes such a difference, especially when you’re traveling with kids. Speaking of kids, the Kids’ Club deserves a special mention. Our little one loved every moment there, and the nannies were so caring and professional. It gave us the chance to relax by the pools, which are fantastic! The lazy river, in particular, is a family favorite—so much fun yet so calming. The food? Amazing! There’s something for everyone, and it’s all fresh and flavorful. We treated ourselves to room service one evening and were blown away by how good the pizza was—honestly, one of the best we’ve ever had. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Having elevators made it super convenient to get around, even with a stroller. Whether you’re traveling with kids or just looking for a peaceful getaway, Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket—you won’t regret it!

The staff are so nice and helpful. Room is spacious and classic. There are many hotel activities you can choose to join. The ocean view is beautiful. Bath stones are provided for you to have onsen time with ocean view in the room. The pillows are so soft and comfortable, that make me fall asleep immediately. There are various choices of food for breakfast, including Western, Thai, Indian cuisines. In conclusion, everything is perfect. I really love to stay here. Hope to stay here again if I go to Phuket again.

When checking in, was shocked to see a long Q of people waiting to check out. Counter staff were frantically trying their best to clear as fast as they could but not really able to cope given it's a peak hour at around 11am. I believe this was also due to their current promotion of credit boost if purchase credits to be used in the resort. Would suggest resort management to consider having express check out especially for those straight forward cases since all occupants are docked with deposits when checking in. Other than this, the experience was great. Staff were all friendly and provide many valuable services like calling to confirm our check out time and knowing is extremely early at 6am, pre arrange have porter to get our luggage, morning call and even pack a breakfast for us knowing we will miss the restaurant breakfast which opens only at 6am. Room was larger than normal with reasonable pricing and not forgetting the amazing view of the ocean from it. Breakfast was really nice and with loads of options to offer ranging from western to Indian, thai, and even vegetarian. Well done to all the resort staff and I will definitely look forward again to visit Centara Grand!
