The hotel is not new, but still not in terrible condition. Conveniently located in the middle of Long Beach, a little on a hill - so you can't hear the road noise. You can rent a bike right at the hotel and this will solve the problem with transportation) and taxis work great on the island, so there were no problems with transportation
The room was cleaned every day. It would be great if the hotel administration did a general cleaning more often - the curtains were dirty, there was dust on the lamps, dust in the corners. The administration should make at least a little effort and this place can be transformed) but for now, as they say, it is acceptable for its price
Breakfasts are meager - pancakes, omelette and fruit. The pool is dirty, the sun loungers are also stale. The nature around is beautiful, but be prepared for lizards and insects in your room.

Daisy resort was a delightful stay! The location is close to the night market and the Main Street with restaurants and shops. The Daisy staff are all very kind and welcoming and they have bikes for rental as well.

Not safe to stay in this place. First of all, is located rather far from main road, one day I was coming back after 10pm. Is very dark and two dogs blocked my way and didn’t let me pass barking at me. I had to find taxi to go up to the resort. There is only one street, and lot of stray dogs all around.
Second, just after checking in I came out on my balcony and saw two huge snakes mating couple of meters away from me. I took a video and showed reception. They refused to give me another room.
Overall, room is not pleasant. The shower was terrible, under open sky. Any insect or animal can come in. If you open balcony at night, any insect or snake may sneak into as well. No protective nets installed.
The location is 16 min walk away from beach and around 10 min to main road. But the road is too dark and scary.

The Daisy Resort is located in an absolutely perfect spot. It is about 250m away from the Main Street which is close enough to just walk and far enough to feel like you are secluded from the hustle and bustle.
The rooms are lovely with an outdoor bathroom, AC and a lovely deck, and to top it all, they are close to a pool area which is literally open 24/7. There are also bikes for rent at the resort itself which makes it just so much more convenient.
It is definitely the place I will stay again if visiting Phu Quoc!
