We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this relaxed and friendly beachfront resort on the quieter side of the island. The location was perfect for us. Quiet and tranquil, sea was calm and warm with starfish and hermit crabs on view. with the busy town and nightlife in Duong Dong just a short taxi ride away. Jamie our host went over and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He even took a trip in to town to pick up medication for me when I came down with tonsillitis which I was really grateful for. We enjoyed many a beer or cocktail in the bar with him and other guests most nights. There are just 4 bungalows for rent which is nice and at times feels as though you have the beach all to yourself which we loved. A delicious breakfast with unlimited filtered coffee or tea is included in the room rate and rooms have unlimited bottled water supplied via a large bottle on a stand for guest. I would advise bringing your own refillable water bottle to place in the fridge if you like chilled water. Bungalows are simple but tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable and toiletries, towels including beach towels are provided by the host. Great menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, reasonably priced. Served promptly which we found quite rare in Vietnam. Food was delicious and well portioned. It would be nice to have a few specials in addition the standard menu for guests on a longer stay. Thanks so much Jamie, Chery and all the team at Kiki Coconut for making our holiday so memorable. We hope to come back sometime soon.

Just 4 neat little bungalows with fridges and private bathrooms and seating area. Slept really well under mosquito net that is provided, ac and fan in room. Lots of sunbeds and chairs dotted about sanded area that leads to cafe/ bar and steps down to beach . Quiet rooms in laid back resort. The east coast is quieter and is dotted with villages. There's a national park for hiking. Make sure to visit the delightful Bee farm whilst on phu quoc, a real gem. Able to use laundry service and hired moped from staff.

Excellent place! The sea and the view are spectacular. The water is very clear and shallow, so it is great for swimming. The food and drinks were great too. Jamie was an excellent host and very knowledgeable about the area. too. I highly recommend visiting here!

Phu Quoc has many tourist-packed areas and large resorts, which tend to be impersonal. At Kiki Coconut, Jamie who developed the current version of this tiny resort, achieved something quite distinct. Kiki Coconut provides a very personal experience. Jamie becomes a friend to each of his guests, and provides support in all areas (even giving me rudimentary Chinese lessons!!). After three years at Phu Quoc, Jamie, who is originally from England, he has adopted the Vietnamese approach of warm hospitality. The small restaurant is lovely. I highly recommend the barbecued Tilapia, which is really delicious. Sitting looking out over the water from the restaurant or the beach is incredibly relaxing. I met a guest who lives and works on the much busier west coast of Phu Quoc, and who periodically comes to stay at Kiki Coconut for several days at a time just to get away and relax. Many locals show up for the simple but delicious food and conversations.

We loved Kiki it's a little haven tucked away between the ocean and mountains. Our bungalow had everything we needed, a hot shower, comfy bed and it was immaculately clean. The onsite bar and restaurant was super chill and served great food, beer and wine. Jamie was an amazing host, gave us lots of information about the island, arranged a motorbike and booked us onto an awesome snorkelling trip with Tommie Tours – which I’d 100% recommend.

Wij vonden het een geweldig idylisch, kleinschallig resort. Het heeft een prachtig uitzicht op zee. Het personeel was echt super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Daarnaast was het eten heerlijk. Het enige negatieve puntje was, dat de leuke huisjes aan de buitenkant wat gezelliger, tropischer ingericht hadden kunnen worden. De bedden waren wat hard, een los peertje als verlichting, en de douche kop kon je niet goed ophangen. Maar door de andere possitieve punten vonden wij de min punten totaal niet erg. Het is een heerlijk relaxed tropisch verblijf.

Stayed 3 nights and we loved every minute of it from getting up early laying in a hammock watching sunrise to dinner and drinks in the evening. Beautiful place, great host,fantastic staff, lovely food, superb drinks and excellent value for money. Jamie was always there on hand to give good advice on what to see and do on Phu Quoc. Cannot wait to return.
