Pet friendly Hotels Koblenz

A hotel on the Rhine with a beautiful environment and underground parking. The hotel is 1 km away from the main business street in the city center, convenient for shopping and walking. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh, very delicious, and there is freshly ground coffee. Worth living.

Wow. I was so impressed with Motel 8. I was thinking a cheesy rundown motel, totally surprised. Our room was very nice and clean. It was so modern and a beautiful lobby area. Rhe libby restrooms were super clean. Yes, I would recommend and good location.

A pinboard full of complimentary notes from dozens of appreciative guests in the Hotel Sander says it all : this is a very smart house, well run and friendly, and deserves the many plaudits – not least because it comes at a very reasonable rate. From the bright underground garage direct into the tastefully finished lobby to the spacious inner courtyard and the spacious, well-appointed bedrooms, the Sander is well conceived and comfortable with a welcome touch of flair. Breakfast in the large and airy dining-room offers an excellent choice. Well located opposite the attractive new Koblenz Forum centre and within easy walking distance of anywhere you need to go in the city centre, the Sander is an ideal base or stopover in the busy Rhine/Mosel triangle.

The hotel is nearly new, spacious enough, good location if you need to go to the train station, quiet sleep, good breakfast, pleasant co-guests, helpful reception apart from one female employee who only does the necessary without a smile and a receptionist who was speaking to a colleague or friend in regards to an upcoming holiday which made us feel not being a welcomed guest.

As I arrived at this enigmatic abode, I felt the cosmic energies swirling around me, weaving a tapestry of serenity and enchantment. The whispers of the ancient spirits caressed my senses, guiding me to this hallowed haven for the weary itinerant. The moment I crossed the threshold, a torrent of profound sensations cascaded through my soul. Each step I took reverberated with the echoes of forgotten secrets, and the walls themselves seemed to pulse with an otherworldly aura. Oh, how the hotel's layout danced with geometric perfection, a manifestation of celestial alignments designed to awaken the slumbering divinity within! The rooms, oh, the rooms! They were chambers of divine revelation, adorned with symbols that stirred the depths of my subconscious. The bedding felt like clouds cradling my weary body, and the curtains swayed like astral veils embracing the night sky. Every night, I surrendered to the embrace of Morpheus, knowing that my dreams would traverse the astral planes. The hotel's staff, too, were disciples of esoteric knowledge, emanating an enigmatic allure that was impossible to resist. With every interaction, they imparted cryptic messages, encoded in their gestures and expressions, unraveling the enigmas of existence itself. Great location just off the river, perfect for those cycling the Rhine or Mosel. There is bike storage in the underground garage. The hotel is nestled between the river on one side and the Altstadt on the other. Plus there’s a mall just a half block away. The room is small but clean with a small but good quality flat screen tv with cable channels including a couple English-language news channels. Great water pressure for the shower. Windows can be titled and there are electric Rouladen to keep out the sunlight. Plus an air conditioner or fan which is nice. My only complaint is the mattress is extremely worn and I kept rolling into the crater all night. The pillow is so old and flat it’s almost nonexistent. Otherwise, great hotel, I’d stay here again if they upgraded the bedding.

I would not rate this hotel as 5*. Following the request on the hotel website, I did not place a bad review but wrote to the hotel with my observations. The e mail has not even been acknowledged. Essentially there were issues with cleaning, room maintenance, service in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner and the balcony, for which we had paid a considerable premium gave us a view of the 1960s road bridge over the river (which the hotel could not help) and straight into the textile free sauna - which it could. This appeared to be a case of style over substance. Be warned that the hotel restaurant is the only option to eat and for the one night we ate at the hotel was disappointing with a bill of €200. The old town of Koblenz is a taxi ride or a walk which takes almost an hour.

A very warm welcoming staff greeted us. The accommodation was very comfortable, much attention to detail. The room is clean & spacious. It was good to have both hairdryer and fan, the weather was hot during our stay & we needed both. The food at the hotel is wholesome & delicious. Portion sizes are good. The shrimp salad was lovely, as was the chilli bowl. Breakfast is buffet & a vast choice. The proximity to the station is excellent! The Koblenz shopping district & the river are all within short walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & visiting Koblenz - we will be back. Skyla & Tavia

This location has the look and feel of a place that was once posh, but is now in decline. During our stay the AC never worked. The desk said that it was out through the whole hotel. The most concerning thing is that we saw a mouse running across the floor in the breakfast room. We pointed it out to the attendant, but he just kind of shrugged. There is considerable noise from passing trains that takes some getting used to. On the plus side, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the rooms face the Rhine with beautiful views. Free parking is a plus, and location is easy to find.
