Pet friendly Hotels Rio de Janeiro

The hotel is beautiful, the food is impressive, the shrimp and drinks are delicious, the breakfast is spectacular, the location is great close to everything and in front of the sea, we would return soon, highly recommended, we loved it.

We booked this hotel in Nov at an inflated price of $1500 USD for 4 nights assuming there'd be rooftop access on NYE since the hotel website didn't call out a ticketed event for that night. When we arrived, the staff told us it was in fact a ticketed event for an additional $300 USD. Perhaps our oversight but we scowered the website before booking at such a high price and it wasn't there. The manager was very helpful in accommodating a cancellation if needed, ultimately we were too tired to pack and unpack again and waste another day in transit so we stayed and bought the tickets. Check in is 2pm. We arrived at 1pm and they said they had a room for us. It wasn't ready so we went to the pool where again, service was wonderful. Front desk gave us a tour of 2 rooms to choose from which was great, but then msgd me and said they'd have a diff room ready at 2:30. We went down at 3pm and the room changed yet again and the new room still wasn't ready. We got a room with no apologies at 4pm. The room was standard. Strong cleaning smell but decent. The shower hose didn't stay in place. The shower drain did not work at all - we had to kick the water to the corner each time for it to drain or pools of water stayed until the next day. The sink also didn't drain. The toilet stopped flushing. We had a plate with one chocolate on it from NYE which by the next day was covered in ants. We are very tidy girls and give some grace for older hotels to have some flaws, but the experience for the price we paid made us appreciate the airbnbs we'd stayed at before checking in here. Location is great, gym and pool are great, but not worth the $ for NYE or Carnival.

At the arrival I needed to wait and change the room a couple of times because in one block (A) all the rooms are facing to the small courtyard and there are air conditioning machines that makes a terrible noise for the entire day. 

The hotel is about 40 minutes away from the airport by car. It is right between Ipanema and Copacabana Beach. Go downstairs and walk across the road to the beach. The sea is very soft, like the magic sand that children play with. Every employee of the hotel is very polite and will greet people warmly. The hotel's swimming pool is very beautiful. The view of the mountains and the sea outside the swimming pool is superb! ! ! We were in a daze for 2 days in the hotel and the beach at the door! Because we checked in early, we were given the last room with sea view, but my husband was more serious and changed it twice to a good sea view room. The only drawback is that the price is a bit expensive, nearly 4,000 per night. This is not the hotel's fault, but because I am poor!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with beautiful views of Copacabana Beach. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Great hotel, highly recommended! We will come again!

Staff universally excellent. All very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar were a particular highlight. The only downside was the location. You need to take a taxi to pretty much anything other than the mall next door.

Amazing hotel - perfect location on Ipanema beach, outstanding service, stunning pool area for sunsets & drinks. Bed quality is beautiful - I had an amazing nights sleep. While the front rooms with ocean view are bigger / better, then courtyard rooms are also good with great air conditioning, bathroom products, etc. 3rd stay here - will stay again!

The hotel rooms are clean and hygienic, with complete facilities, good environment, facing the sea, rich breakfast, large swimming pool, clean and hygienic water, rich food, good hotel service, recommended to stay!

The evaluation after staying in the hotel can be based on the following aspects: 1. Room environment: including the cleanliness, comfort, lighting, ventilation of the room, and whether the facilities in the room are complete and function normally. 2. Service quality: including front desk reception, room service, catering service, security measures, etc., as well as the service attitude and professionalism of the staff. 3. Completeness of facilities: whether the public areas, fitness facilities, swimming pools, Wi-Fi, etc. in the hotel are in line with the publicity and whether they can meet the needs of guests. 4. Location and transportation: whether the hotel's geographical location is convenient, whether it is easy to find, the surrounding traffic conditions and whether there are transportation tools for convenient travel. 5. Cost-effectiveness: whether the hotel's price is reasonable, whether it matches the services provided, and whether it is worth choosing again. 6. Safety and hygiene: whether the hotel's safety measures are in place, including fire prevention, anti-theft and other safety facilities, and whether the hygiene conditions meet the standards. When making an evaluation, you should remain objective and fair, affirm the hotel's advantages, and point out the shortcomings, so that the hotel can improve its service quality, and also provide reference information for other potential customers.

Excellent location, services & amenities, clean, good bed and powerful shower. Biggest asset is the friendly and helpful staff, every single one we met. A suggestion would be to provide complimentary bottles of water and an electric kettle with coffee/tea if possible.
