We were able to drop off our luggage before check-in, which was very convenient. We were also upgraded to a room with a private internal bathroom, which was a nice surprise. "I stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget. The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi. The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city. Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations."

The rooms and common areas are clean, and the calming interior will soothe your travel fatigue. The owner and staff were very kind, and the sightseeing advice and warm hospitality were impressive. In addition, the kitchen facilities are well-equipped, so it is recommended for long-term stays and those who like to cook their own meals. You can sleep soundly in a quiet environment, and the affordable price makes it excellent value for money. It is a very satisfying place to stay when visiting Edinburgh!"
