It is a decent family friendly hotel with good service. Room is reasonably large to open two suitcase at the same time. Locating next to Shinsabashi metro station exit but don’t expect a straight barrier free entry if you have a lot of heavy luggage. Breakfast is fine and if its fee is included in your room rental. But not worth for JPY3400 if you are not Japanese style breakfast fans.

Helpful staff, clean room, good location, nice breakfast. Only thing is the sound from corridor is quite clear. Sometimes felt annoying while someone talk and pass through ouside of your room door.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Nikko Osaka! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Shinsaibashi with easy access to shopping, dining, and the subway. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with great city views. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

The hotel's location is excellent, being close to the train station. However, navigating with two luggage pieces can be challenging, so a taxi may be a better option. The hotel's amenities are a highlight: breakfast is delightful, afternoon tea is a lovely touch, and the evening offerings of sake, beer, and wine (until 9 pm) are a great way to unwind. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making for a pleasant stay overall.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is right above the metro station. Also, it is in walking distance to all the "must go" around Shinsaibashisuji -- food, shops, cafe, etc. It is a no brainer to choose this hotel for future trip to Osaka.

My recent four nights stay in a Superior double room at Nikko Japan during winter illumination is impeccable. Love the japanese restaurant breakfast (which i paid with the hotel’s 15% off voucher). The night bell manager and housekeeping staffs, concierge recommendation (at my request) for japanese massage are good. Underneath hotel could connect to two nearby malls, a food place which is cheaper to eat at, and within walking distance to 3 metro lines. Super convenient. There is separate good quality skincare for ladies and gentlemen, and a sitting area. Also love that i could stroll and within a block there are many normal quaint and chain shops, pharmacies that are covered.

Located conveniently near shopping malls and the metro. Its also within walking distance to Dotonbori. Rooms are spacious and clean. Counter for luggage/parcel delivery also available at hotel lobby. Only downside for rooms facing main road is the loud motorbikes occasionally going past in the middle of the night.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to shopping areas and public transport. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a blend of convenience, great service, and cleanliness in Osaka.

We were so happy with this hotel that we came back to stay again. The staff was amazing, gave us a complimentary upgrade to premium room because it is our honeymoon. Very appreciative of that. Recommended this hotel by a good friend and it didn't disappoint. The location is fantastic with utmost convenience. Walking street and convenience stores and eateries all around the corner. Basically, once you step out of the hotel, you are in the midst of the action. Highly recommended with a very customer focus staff, Japanese hospitality gold standard.

Absurd policy whereby guests are absolutely not permitted to check in until 3:00 p.m. onwards, which means a lobby crowded with impatient people. At the stroke of 3:00 p.m. there is a massive rush to check in with long cues. Why not at least register guests as and when they arrive and complete the registration for malities first? And if rooms are ready before 3:00 p.m. why not let our guests get comfortable and settled, instead of being so rigid and inflexible? Isn't caring for your paying customers a priority???? I was first assigned room 1602 which I later found out was right beside the lift's, and from where I could hear lifts going up and down all the time and by 11:00 p.m. as I could not sleep due to the noise, I had to repeatedly insist on a room change. Took four visits from a receptionist over the course of 40 minutes just to achieve this simple task. He was extremely reluctant to let me change rooms at first but only relented when I insisted that I would not pay for the room if I could not sleep in peace. The following day my keys did not work, and when I asked why, the reception staff said that they assumed that I would want to change rooms again, even though I had already told the receptionist the night before that, I would not be bothered changing rooms again. Poor communication among staff, and at the very least, I ought to have been informed when I first checked in that the room was prone to lift noise and been given a choice. Excellent location right above Shinsaibashi subway station, and in the busiest shopping and dining precinct of Osaka. The hotel has absolutely no recreational facilities such as a gymnasium or swimming pool, although the property is well maintained and clean, although the mattress in my room was sagging, probably due to age. BEWARE of rooms within 20 metres of the lifts - do not accept them under any circumstances, unless you are an extremely heavy sleeper!
