"Lovely three day stay at le Zagare. Giuseppe and his family gave us the warmest of welcomes. The agriturismo is spacious and v well located as a base to explore the southern coast. We had dinner twice at le Zagare and ate delicious antipasto and a mix of fresh homemade pasta. Breakfasts were delicious too! We will happily return to keep exploring the Noto region. Kallikoros Country Resort & Spa

"The room, after a short climb from reception (best done by car), is rustic but fits the setting. The hotel exterior is very beautiful with magnificent views. The 'double' bed is two single beds pushed together, the shower is very noisy when opening the doors, and the sinks are quite dirty. The view from the room is wonderful. Breakfast is quite poor in terms of choice and quality. The restaurant is quite good, the service is ok, nothing exceptional. The nearest town or restaurant is a 15-minute drive away."

Hotel Club Eloro

"We recently stayed at Club Eloro and I can honestly say this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is very dated with basic accommodation, tiny square shower with a plastic folding door. Really small balcony. The rooms were very clean, so housekeeping are doing a good job. The dinner buffet food was awful, if you found any meat, you’d done well! We gave up going in at lunchtime it was so poor. The breakfast buffet was better though, with a good selection. We ate at the Sicilian and Pizza restaurants and we paid a supplement of €10 and €15 respectively for the Mexican and Greek restaurants. The food was below average. For dessert in every restaurant, we received a tiny plastic pot of melted lemon ice with a plastic spoon, similar to what a toddler would expect. This was not representative of the desserts shown on the menus. The hotel certainly likes plastic, as I read in a previous review. Every drink was served in a plastic beaker, even beer and wine. I would expect that by the pool but not in the bars during the evening. The bar staff did not like using glasses. We had to hunt for wine glasses to take with us to dinner! Now the All Inclusive. When we arrived around 3pm, we enquired about a snack and were advised to go to shop across the road to get a sandwich, really?? The drinks are basic and served between 10am - 10pm. There is a supplement for lots of drinks that are not part of the All Inclusive. Guests had various coloured wristbands so I think it depends who you book with - we booked with EasyJet Holidays. There were only two members of staff, Laura at Front Desk and Enzo at Beach Bar, who were friendly and helpful. Others did not engage and were not friendly. The beach is lovely with clear blue sea! so that was of some consolation! I travelled with friends and we are ex travel agents. We would not recommend this hotel."

Hotel Noto Marina a Mare Spa

"We booked this property through a Smartbox package, but unfortunately it turned out to be truly neglected. Our bathroom wasn't even equipped with a door to close the shower. Furthermore, despite reporting the TV remote control malfunction at 9:30 AM and reiterating it in the late afternoon, when we returned to the property nothing had changed. Zero consideration. All they needed was to replace the batteries!!!! Breakfast was also quite disappointing. In fact, on our second day, we opted to have it elsewhere."

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic-homemade bread, cheese, cakes.Because of the breakfast and positive energy we extended our stay one more night.The service during breakfast can improve and the restaurant team should engage more with the guests.Christina from the bar was very welcoming and interacted with us, presenting the menu in a very professional way.
