New Hotels in Nagoya

"Hotel is new and very clean with basic amenities. I like the room with spacious shelves that we could put our luggage bags. A lot of varieties for breakfast, and normally with quite a number of local dishes. Overall the egg station and bread are those i preferred since some food was not up to standards. Staff are courteous, pleasant and helpful when i asked for recommendation. Lobby has a huge sitting area for meeting up with friends and right at the end, a small lounge which serves drinks. The only inconvenient part is the swimming pool - it is not in the same building and cannot reach with a connecting lift. Swimmers has to move out of the hotel to go to the next building, move to level 6 and there's the swimming pool. There are changing rooms available. Perhaps the hotel is new, our taxi driver could not locate the hotel. As there are a few Harris properties in Batam, best to inform taxi driver including address. Btw, getting Grab to any other shopping malls are convenient and low cost. There are plenty of eaterie around. Within minutes walk, there are minimarts, cafe, food court, restaurant, massage parlours, skincare and hair salon! These are 2-3 storey high building. Nagoya Hill is the nearest shopping mall which is about 10-15 minutes walk. There is a school nearby so you could hear some noise when they are conducting activities. Also on-going construction nearby, can't really hear from room, so it doesn't bother us. Over all a great stay!"

"Reach the favehotel lobby but there was no further instruction on how to get the key to the unit. Luckily my supir was there to help and help me to call the number registered in trip.com and he did communicate with the owner of the residence and arrange the key to be passed to me. The host need to update to the guest and actively keep in touch through trip.com apps for smoother check in and check out. Other than that the cleanliness and the amenities provided are good and well prepared."

"Hotel is refurbished with a changed name. Not really ready for guest. Beds can feel the springs and unusually low. No shower curtains so wet floors beside door as the bathroom is very small. Door locks don't work properly. Had to go to reception twice and maintenance fixing door locks. Safe is completely broken and not functioning in both rooms. No bathroom racks at shower, only a soap dispenser. After room cleaning, toiletries not replaced. Hand soap bar that was used was thrown aware and as nothing was replaced, we had nothing after that."

"The hotel is in the Nagoya area, which is quite convenient. It’s new, with clean and welcoming corridors. Our room was clean too, but unfortunately, the hotel is not smoke-free. When we entered the room, it smelled strongly of smoke, which gave me a headache, especially worrying since my kids were staying in too. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp, but they only suggested using air freshener, which didn’t help. I even asked to change rooms and was willing to pay extra, but got no follow-up. Later, I realised the smoke smell was coming from the toilet, possibly due to shared ventilation? The smell got worse at night, and we had to cover our noses with blankets. I really hope the management will address this ventilation issue other than that I find the hotel was value for money."

"I chose it because it was close to Nagoya Hills. I may have chosen it without doing any proper research, but there was no refrigerator. Please note. I booked a three-day stay, and the smell of cigarettes was incredibly strong on the second night. They did change my room the next day, but the second night was miserable. The staff are very friendly. Oh, it was a bit difficult to find the place the first time because it didn't work on Grab."
