"I spent over 20 days traveling around Hainan Island, staying in 7 hotels, and this Gemei Hotel was my favorite. 1. The room was clean, with no smoke or other odors, which was my biggest concern, and this hotel did a great job. 2. Although the exterior of the hotel building looks a bit dated, the interior is very new, probably recently renovated. The interior decoration is up to 4-star hotel standards, making for a very comfortable stay. My initial impression of Dongfang Hotel wasn't particularly good, but this hotel completely changed it. If it weren't for the hassle of changing flight tickets, I would have seriously considered staying longer. 3. The price was very reasonable. To what extent? For the same amenities in Sanya, you'd need to be prepared to spend over 400 RMB per night. (Also during the off-season.) 4. There's a charging station downstairs and free parking. If you're worried about your car getting too hot in the sun, you can park on the basement level, which is also free. Very convenient. 5. The beach is just across the road from the hotel, very convenient. I swam in the sea two nights in a row, and the experience was fantastic. 6. Many elderly people live here, probably for health and wellness purposes, but the front desk assigns relatively secluded rooms, which is very friendly. There's no disturbance between guests. 7. There's a large terrace with direct sunset views. For this price, it's unbeatable; just go for it!"

"I was so pleasantly surprised to find an open-air rooftop pool at this hotel! The pool area is lovely, with plenty of loungers for relaxing, and the changing rooms and showers are well-maintained. It was amazing to come up here after a busy day to swim and unwind. The high-altitude view is expansive and peaceful. As night falls, watching the bustling city lights below is a unique experience. Heading up to the 12th floor to melt away the day's work stress was fantastic. The pool facilities and equipment were spotless, and breakfast was also good, especially the self-service fresh juice bar!"

"The view from this guesthouse is amazing! 👍 The bedroom's floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the sea and beach, while the other side overlooks the nearby fishing port and bustling fish market. This guesthouse is newly opened, and the rooms are exquisitely decorated with no unpleasant odors. They've paid great attention to detail! The owner lives next door and provides excellent service; they even delivered freshly cooked, homegrown corn in the morning – so sweet and delicious! We originally booked one night but then extended our stay."

"The room as a whole exceeded expectations! The space is spacious and bright, the bedding is clean and soft, and it is particularly comfortable to live in. The sanitary details are well done, and the bathroom area and the room are separated by frosted glass, which ensures privacy and looks very transparent. "Stepping into this hotel, the lobby environment is spacious and clean, and when I checked in, the girls at the front desk were very warm, fast and professional. The room was cleaned very clean, the room attendant was very good, and I always greeted me when I walked to the room. The projection screen of his house is very clear, and you can watch it while lying on the bed. The hotel is also super close to the food street. It takes only a few minutes to walk.
