Seaview Hotels in New Taipei City

Location is great with excellent view over the fisherman’s wharf. However, the arrival experience was quite awkward as once I got up to the room, there were two housekeeping carts right in front of my room and the room door was opened, this gave me an impression that the room was not ready. Besides, service from the Front Desk lady will need to improve as she gave me quite an awkward attitude upon both arrival and departure.

The view of the room is very beautiful, full sea view as we are staying at the top floor. The room is very spacious. The bedding is ok but a bit soft for me. The bathroom is good and the pressure of the water is very stable and the temperature of the hot water is good. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the city but very close to the subway. If you want to visit Tamtsui, it is one of the good choice. The management should improve the cleanliness of the room, but compared with the price, it is okay for me to come again.

We stayed from 7/22 - 25 and in room 1329. The view from the room of the sea was great. Overall service was great. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I have just one issue - Breakfast. The breakfast buffet every morning was the same and that was a let down. We had three breakfasts and everyday it was the same. Maybe look into that as no guest that stays in your hotel wants to eat the same food for breakfast everyday.

The facilities are rich and suitable for parents who don’t want to go out to bask in the sun on hot summer days to take their children to play ~ I will visit again if I have the opportunity!

We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way. The exterior of the building is rather uninspiring but the common rest areas of the interior are lovely and tastefully done up - see pictures. The bedroom I stayed in is described as mountain view but not too much of a view - is smallish in size but done up in a modern comfortable style. Very friendly and helpful service staff. Location maybe a challenge for some as it is a bit of a hike up to the top of the Jiufen village - I didn’t find it strenuous but I packed light. Google map works well to direct you through the warrens of shops to get there. Breakfast was so so but good enough for me

The view is really good. You have a bird's eye view of Jiufen and the sea from the mountain, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the old street. The boss is very enthusiastic and will recommend attractions. In the morning, there is breakfast cooked by the boss himself. The room is large and clean, with heating and hot water. The pressure is hot enough

I recently stayed and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is ideal, situated in the heart of Jiufen, making it convenient to explore popular attractions, etc. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with modern decor and a relaxing ambiance. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and high-speed internet. Overall, my stay is exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here and looking for a blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

If you want to go to the Emerald Bay Hotel, the location is unbeatable. It is very convenient to walk back and forth. Although there is no attached parking space, there are many parking spaces on the roadside. The biggest problem with the hotel facilities is that there are only two elevators with a small passenger capacity. The waiting time for the elevator is very long. The room facilities are very good. The room type I stayed in this time can directly see the sea. The view is very good.
