Mountain view Hotels in Te Anau

The surrounding environment is wonderful. I think I was comfortable at home. Hotel people are kind. It is hotel which we want to use on the next time.

We spent one night, having driven down from Wanaka and intending to continue to the Milford Sound tour the following day. Donna was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The history of the building was fascinating, and the antique decor and trinkets added to the charm. Breakfast the following morning was great- wonderful scrambled eggs. Thank you!

The location is in Te Aru, there is no lake view to see, it takes about 2 or 3 minutes to walk to the lake, the door just happens to be parking, the open kitchen, the kitchen is a bit like a bar, only the toaster can toast and soak. Most have showers, so you can only stand in the bathtub and shower, and the toilet is in the bathroom next door. To be honest, motels are everywhere in Te Anau. But in high mountain areas, it is not too demanding.
