Mountain View Hotels in Athens

The location of hotel is excellent, very close to the x95 bus station and Syntagma metro station. Breakfast buffet is good, great variety of food and many of them are tasty. The beds and other furniture are not modern but clean. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

My family just spent 2 nights at the Stanley and found it to be a fantastic place to stay. Our first experience was the spacious lobby with ample seating and several coolers containing beverages available to guests. The check in seemed a little slow but was eventually completed by a friendly desk person. Our room was very clean and outfitted with good air conditioning, a high pressure deluxe shower and luxury quality mattresses. There was an outdoor meeting area that was peaceful and private. The top floor had an incredible pool and restaurant area. Breakfast had an amazing selection with outdoor seating. The weakest part of the stay was the Cloud Nine Restaurant. The ambience was very special but the service was slow and food was mediocre. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place but might suggest having dinner at some of the really fine restaurants nearby.

One girl at the front desk was not very good, others were very clean. Breakfast is good. Service is good, but the equipment is a bit old. The clothes rack in the room is cumbersome to use. There is no place to dry clothes. The washbasin in the bathroom is good

This was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

Beautiful hotel but small rooms for a 4 star. Great location and ample shops, cafes and restaurants. However check out their Zale Restaurant located on the 8th floor, smart casual dressing is acceptable. Look out for Maria and Eva, trust their recommendations they did not fail to deliver. They were wonderful 5 stat service and friendly.

LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. We stayed here for almost a week, with two rooms for my wife, myself, my baby daughter and my mother in law. The hotel has some nice points and some points which I think need improving. The staff were all fine, and well trained as you should expect for the price. The rooms were a little small for 200-240 euro per room per night. The bathroom was the worst of you are large like me (194cm tall medium build). Standing in the shower one elbow was touching one side and other elbow was touching other wall, the toilet was temperamental and you could see it needs refurbishment in some parts. The shower gel was a little unpleasant too but soap was nice. They charge 5 or 6 euro for a bottle of water on room service which I found insane. The lobby is very big but strangely empty. For the good the room was ok, the staff again, food was fine, parking was easy (which in greek cities can be rare) and mattress was comfortable. However I think we will try a different hotel next time as I didn’t feel the price reflected the hotel.

The hotel is very clean, the location is good, the breakfast is very good, and the restaurant can see the Acropolis ruins from afar. The front desk service is very enthusiastic. Because I arrived in the early morning, the taxi driver overcharged me and switched the package for 100 euros. I encountered setbacks when I complained to the police. The front desk assisted in the online complaint, but no feedback has been received so far.

Really enjoyed our stay at Neoma. Hotel is just 3 years old. Decor is lovely and with quality fixtures & fittings across the hotel. Albeit some random design features in the rooms. Service from all the staff absolutely fantastic. A credit to themselves and the hotel. Rooftop terrace and bar wonderful. 360 degree views of the city including a rather famous landmark! Prices comparable to bars in Athens for drinks. Cooked breakfast options the only let down. Bizarre combinations presented to us. Yet sufficient choice of self serve options. Rarely got the hot drink we actually ordered which was amusing, and never “hot”. Yet overall a truly lovely hotel. And the smell as you enter was divine.

Love the location, the staff were so accommodating, always super clean and the pool and rooftop were a definite plus.
