How should I put it? Before traveling, I saw a personal recommendation on Xiaohongshu and said that the breakfast here is delicious. But I saw some negative comments below, such as the surrounding environment is very bad and there are many bad people. But I couldn't stand the fact that the price/performance ratio was really good, and I also liked the room type, so I decided to give it a try and booked it for two nights. There is an access control as soon as you enter the hotel. You have to ring the doorbell to open the door. The staff at the front desk are very enthusiastic. I arrived at about 11 o'clock in the morning and there was actually a room that I could enter. This is usually only possible at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Very rare for Athens.
After entering the room, the window can be opened, the bathroom is divided very scientifically, the bedding is clean, and earplugs are thoughtfully provided (although I didn't use them). I went back to the hotel at around five o'clock both nights to watch TV and rest. When you leave the hotel, it is recommended to turn left immediately and walk out of this short alley, which is about ten meters away. It is actually very safe after that. Do not wear sandals when walking in this area, it is safer.
For breakfast, the area is not large, but the restaurant is very cozy, and the room price includes three breakfasts. On average, the price is really cost-effective. Moreover, it only takes a few minutes to walk to the Place de la Concorde and about ten minutes to reach the Constitution Square. It is very close to the attractions. So the location is good.
The staff is also very friendly to the children. When they were waiting for me downstairs, they took the initiative to give them pens and paper to draw, which was very caring. I had to print out urgent documents for personal reasons, and the front desk helped me do it for free. Thank you very much!
In short, if you are a young person, staying in this hotel is very cost-effective. I live here with my two children. I deliberately try to be safe and try to stay on the main roads and avoid alleys. It is actually safe.
The boss also gave me a discount when buying souvenirs, and asked the children to write postcard messages before leaving, leaving a pleasant memory.

The room is large and the location is good. It is the waiter who is at the front desk in the morning, and there is no one in the afternoon. It is said that the front desk service of the hotel is for a long time. It is said that there is no kitchen in the room of the hotel. There is no breakfast provided, they recommend you to eat at a nearby hotel.

We felt at home in our room. I don’t know why. Maybe the high ceiling or maybe the charming interior. One three one is on one of Athens main streets, near the Monastiraki district and near Psyrri. There are plenty of restaurants here! And every night this neighbourhood is very lively and charming. The hotel doesn’t do breakfast, but there are enough options around. One three one is more like a house with 5 rooms than like a hotel. We didn’t see the owner, but had good contact by WhatsApp. The cleaning is a bit hit and miss: our room was clean when we came. We had to ask for cleaning after two nights. The cleaning lady didn’t come at the arranged time, but she came in the evening. We asked for a blanket and she would leave it, but didn’t. It didn’t spoil our stay, but still. As has been said in other interviews, there is noice from the street. It didn’t bother us though.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a recent trip to Athens and the islands .This is a great Boutique Hotel in the centre of the old part of Athens. The location is perfect, if you want to visit the Acropolis it’s just a 20 minute walk to the entrance through pedestrianised lanes, it’s about a 5 minute walk to the metro station at Monasteraki, the open top bus stop is also there and it’s about a 20 minute walk to the archaeological museum. As soon as you come out of the hotel there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops in the Psirri and Plaka parts of the town. The hotel is very peaceful, clean and has well equipped rooms with comfortable large beds and good bathrooms. A good breakfast is included in the price which can be taken in the lobby or in your room. The only slight drawback is that most of rooms are not very light as the windows face into an inner courtyard, however this means that it is very quiet. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but plenty of options in the lanes outside

Very good value! Rooms clean and comfortable. Front desk staff excellent! Very helpful and made RELIABLE transportation arrangements. Recommended near-by greek restaurants and provided local directions.. Hotel was in contact with me several times prior to my arrival to be sure everything would be as promised. We arrived early, but they were able to accommodate us with another room since ours was not yet ready. I huge PLUS since we had tour commitments. I'd' stay here again due to it's central location and service.

We loved our stay here. Costas is so friendly and helpful, even organized a taxi to take to Airport, carried our heavy suitcases, opened the door of the taxi!. The rooms are kept to a high standard. The location is perfect to explore Athens, as the Parthenon is walking distance, lots of restaurants and shops on your doorstep.

Outstanding
I loved this hostel - everything about it - the location, the cleanliness, the beautiful marble foyer, modern appliances, free coffee/tea, friendly vibes and the thought out into everything including privacy. After chatting a few days to staff I realised I had been talking to the very friendly and helpful owner. The luggage lock allocated to my bed was broken and he immediately came and fixed it in under 5 minutes. The only let down was my room was next to the courtyard which a loud group of men were up each night until well past nightnight smoking and chatting loudly so my throat hurt. Also the shutters on a humid night were left open by another customer in my room which let all the mosquitoes in, I was bitten several times on the face and I woke to a heavily swollen face and one eye a third shut. To be fair, when I got up to ask for some mosquito deterrent or spray the girl tried but couldn't find the stuff and when I asked again in the morning a diffuser was installed and worked a dream, so this was more than I'dhave expected as I was just after a local bug spray. On one night a very nasty and rude woman with dark hair manning the desk at night hissed at us constantly in the downstairs living room to be quiet when we didn't even use raised voices, but she did nothing about the men loudly laughing all night in the courtyard - all other staff were lovely but it certainly destroyed the social vibe there. Even the owner didn't behave like that and it's a shame he didn't see this, though other male staff did. Otherwise, the place is fantastic - well located in a safe, artsy area with excellent food options, lots of conveniences, a gorgeous courtyard, high tech security, lots of locks and codes with soft close doors and extremely clean. I will definitely stay here again if that nasty woman isn't there.
CChiyiGraceIf I come to Greece again, this accommodation will still be my favorite choice. A clean public space where you can relax your mind and chat with other travelers. Close to the subway station, good location! You can see the quiet Greek Acropolis from the top floor!
GGuest UserStayed in a 6 bed hostel room. Bunk was comfortable. Nice large lock boxes. Good lighting and electric outlets with each bunk. Good curtains for privacy and lighting. Staff was really helpful and welcoming. Nice cafe on street level. Bathrooms were clean and kitchen on 1st floor was nice and coffee and tea were available. Great location in a Athens. Right where you want to be for quick access to attractions, transportation, restaurants and nightlife. Yes staying in a shared room can get noisy when people come in after a night out, but that’s hostel life. In any case bed was comfortable and I slept well. Would stay there again.
四四大皆空空All are very good, very clean and very affordable, but I would not choose to live in this. Because there are many people in one room, I can’t rest well. I’m not 20 years old, I’m over 30, so let’s live in a quieter place. There is no need to live in this kind of student travel hostel to save money. I’m getting older and demanding more sleep. I want to turn on the air conditioner. The other girl feels cold, and I feel bored if I don’t turn on the air conditioner. I left at 2 o'clock in the middle of the night and changed to a four-star very luxurious hotel. The bed is so big and the sofa can sleep 2 people. This hostel recommends young people to live there. The design is particularly good and the location is also good.
SSarapultsevit's in a very strange neighborhood, kind of Chinatown plus many Indians, Pakistani and Turkish people live and do business nearby. Easy to find if one uses a navigator, difficult otherwise. In a walking distance to the main train station, subway, the city centre. The room i started has a decent bathroom with a bathtub, it's soundproof, had a balcony. The only significant minus, there is no kitchen nor a public room.
I enjoyed my stay at Athens Backpackers. Both the front door and the dorm door were accessed by keypad, so I didn't have to keep track of a keycard or a key. The dorm code was 12 digits, impossible for me to memorize. The included cold breakfast was varied and satisfying. The bar was a nice touch. My compliments center on the dorm itself. The lockers were large and held luggage, not all of them had shelves, so we were constantly digging through our bags for what we needed. The only hook was on the back of the bathroom door. No where to hang your wet towel to dry. The only mirror in the dorm was in the bathroom. If they added 1 or 2 hooks for each bed, some shelves or table to set things and an extra mirror in the room, I would give a solid 5 star rating.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The rooms are very quiet and even though they are shared, very intimate as each bed has a garden, night light and a pump. Breakfast with various options, healthy, all rich and very good price. I emphasise the friendliness and solidarity of Mariano reception, who made himself available to guide me and help me in how to manage me in the city (public transport, interesting tourist sites, etc,), I was my first time in Athens and I didn't know anything. 'Thank you Marian !!!!!!! I would certainly return to hosting at the Hostel and of course I recommend it. I am Jorgelina de Córdoba, Argentina
Hostel cannot get better than this! It’s a must! Great views clean rooms amazing stuff happy hours great management! Thanks safe stay Athens for the amazing experience & the great recommendations!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
GGuest UserThe dormitory is large and the environment is good. The service is particularly thoughtful. The facilities are complete. It feels very good to live. The Trip.com platform is reliable. It is worth booking. The address is also very convenient in the city center. It is still very satisfactory.
GGuest Userbig disappointment. I understand that for 10 euros/night I cannot expect the services of a four-star hotel, but this was a horror. no elevator, so you need good fitness to go up to the fourth floor like me. the stairs are quite steep, so you will sweat even without a suitcase, for example, when you go to the city. the walls are like paper, you can even hear the breath of the neighbor in the next room. the kitchen is terrible, dirty, the floor was sticky. no seating options only hard benches. no windows, so the pigeons calmly flew inside among the people. only a refrigerator, a microwave and a kettle were available. no glasses, plates, cutlery, nothing!!! The bathroom is also a disaster. there was no obstacle between the toilet and the shower, so everything was wet during the shower. the Russian cleaning lady was rude when I wanted a clean towel, she said I only have one towel a day. as if I was questioning her. I understand that my salary is certainly low, but a little willingness and a smile wouldn't hurt anyone. I worked as a cleaner for two years at a hotel in Ibiza, this approach is a disaster. I have been in many hostels, e.g. Japan, Mexico, Germany, Slovakia. satisfaction everywhere! this was terrible. I was also unlucky with my roommate. A woman who acted like she owned the hotel. At night, she turned the air conditioner to 16 C, so I had to sleep in a sweater and long pants. I only had a thin sheet to cover myself. She smoked on the balcony, but she left the door open, so all the smoke went inside. I tried to solve it, but she was aggressive. when I checked in at the reception, the receptionist Alex just talked. He was watching a movie on the computer the whole time and it was obvious that I was bothering him. Finally, I asked for another room where there were two men. I finally had peace! the only positive of this hostel was the proximity to the center and the receptionist Zeid - I don't know if his name is spelled like that, but he was very nice and helpful. He was young and had black hair. I was not the only one who was dissatisfied with the accommodation. I met a young lady from the Czech Republic there, who left after the first night. I recommend finding another accommodation.
