GGuest UserComfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

GGuest UserThis hotel is a bit far from the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area, but you can enjoy views of Baling River Bridge from your room. The pool is quite photogenic, and the hotel offers a rich array of activities. In the afternoon, there's a rice noodle roll making experience, followed by goodnight desserts, a tea ceremony around a stove, and even a singer performing. Overall, the experience was great. As for minor drawbacks, there were a few issues. For instance, the sink faucet in the room was designed too high, the shower's overhead spray had very low water pressure, the light on the vanity mirror was faulty, and the bedside lamp plug was loose. These small details could definitely be improved. However, the staff were warm and proactive. Also, the parking lot is about a 200-meter downhill walk from the hotel. Only luggage carts are available for bags. If you're traveling with elderly guests who need to walk, I'd suggest providing a shuttle service that can transport people!

LLaotaoziThe hotel is relatively new, and the linens are of good quality and fresh. They were clean and odorless. The parking lot is huge, and the hotel offers a timely shuttle service to scenic spots for guests. The service was warm, polite, and courteous. The only downside is that the duvet was a bit thick; Southern tourists are used to thinner blankets. Breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant downstairs had good food.

It was an incredibly relaxing escape, almost flawless from start to finish, with only two minor details worth mentioning. The room design beautifully showcased an elegant Oriental style. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete and top-notch, making it perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the views. The hot springs were a major highlight; the pools were nestled discreetly within the mountains, offering a serene and private environment. The water temperature was perfect, and soaking in the mist-shrouded pools was a fantastic experience, allowing me to relax my mind and body while enjoying the natural beauty. The service was impeccable. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and patient. They were always quick to respond to any requests, providing thoughtful and discreet service that made me feel truly cared for. The food was also exceptionally satisfying. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the dishes were outstanding. Both the refined dinner and the extensive breakfast balanced nutrition and taste perfectly, delighting my palate. The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat strong smell of the wooden furniture in the room, which dissipated after opening the windows, and the occasional presence of a few mosquitoes, which could be managed with repellents. Overall, these minor imperfections did not detract from the overall experience. The hotel delivered top-tier quality in terms of environment, facilities, service, and dining. It truly stands out as an excellent vacation choice around Huangguoshu, and I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThis hotel gave me a perfect Anshun travel experience! I was very impressed, so here's a detailed review: 1. The hotel's location is fantastic – just a 5-minute walk from the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area (Beer Plaza entrance). Even during the May Day holiday, we got in smoothly around 8 AM without any queues. When heading back to Guiyang, you can take a taxi to the bus station, then a bus to Anshun West Station for the high-speed rail, or take a direct 2-hour bus from the bus station straight to Guiyang North Station. 2. The hotel facilities are incredibly thoughtful. There's a self-service check-in machine, and the rooms are very spacious. The overall decor has a understated, wooden style, and it's clean and quiet. The washroom is designed with a wet/dry separation, featuring two sinks and a bathtub. The slippers, toiletries, and bedding are all high quality, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. 3. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, which is perfect to start eating around 7:30 AM. There's a wide variety, mainly Chinese dishes, including noodle soups, stir-fries, coarse grains, and the spicy chicken was particularly delicious. 4. The hotel service is attentive and excellent. The doorman enthusiastically helped with our luggage, and the front desk staff, even when busy, patiently answered all our questions. We could also store our luggage in the morning. 5. Right next to the hotel are various restaurants where you can enjoy sour soup hotpot, dry pot, and griddle-cooked dishes for about 70-80 RMB per person. We ate really well during our stay! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧ Before coming, I was worried that the May Day holiday crowds would make our trip difficult, but this hotel really alleviated all those concerns. It was excellent, excellent!

GGuest UserService: The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were really nice. There was a complimentary shuttle service to and from the bus station, and the driver was also very meticulous and thoughtful. Ambiance: The room was great. The hotel is located in the Great Waterfall scenic area and has a viewing platform where you can admire the magnificent waterfall from afar. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach a viewpoint offering a 'God's eye' perspective. If you plan your visit well, you can see everything in about 5 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't make it due to time constraints, but that slight regret only makes it more memorable! It was a truly worthwhile trip, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends. Huangguoshu Bus Station drop-off service: Excellent!

GGuest UserThis is a high-star chain hotel right next to Huangguoshu Waterfall. What's really great, and something many five-star hotels lack, is their self-service laundry room. There are plenty of washer-dryers, enough for my friend and me even during a holiday. The hotel seems to be split into multiple buildings, some newer and some older. Our room had a balcony. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, but the other facilities and services were excellent. It's really good value for money, even on a holiday, and definitely worth staying at.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel situated in an incredibly well-preserved Ming dynasty village. Our hosts were very accommodating and the room was fantastic - very clean and a comfortable bed! There are many things to see here, including a Buddhist temple of 500 years one of the mountains the town in nestled beneath. Far different from the new old towns we saw in Lijiang and shangri-la, this village is the real deal and just unbelievable to walk through and explore. We also enjoyed walking down to the nearby town outside the gates. The Karst mountains in this area are extremely dramatic and beautiful to behold. There is a speciality coffee shop and a place to get breakfast near the gate - we suspect that we were visiting outside of peak time as it was generally quiet but that suited us just fine. The host made us wonton and dumpling soup in a vegetable broth which was very nice. The hosts are very kind and they have prepared a wonderful place from which to explore this very special village. It is about a 40 minute taxi from Anshun West station and 20-30 minute taxi into Anshun city. Thank you!

GGuest User.The location is excellent. Just opposite the scenic bus pickup station. There are many eateries nearby. The hotel is old and out-dated. However, the bed is comfy and the bedding and towels are clean. The front desk staff is friendly and allowed me to extend my checkout time.
