"The location and surroundings are great! While the room is small, the cleanliness and location are acceptable. The free parking in the basement is especially convenient. The soundproofing in the room isn't great. Besides the noise from the nearby expressway, you can also hear the sound of flushing, doors slamming next door, hallway noises, and plumbing. Furthermore, staying on the 6th floor, I noticed the loudest traffic outside the window. Also, two other guests sharing the same floor entered the room around noon and started talking loudly, inviting friends into the room to chat for about two hours, which really ruined the mood of my vacation stay."

"The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the tourist attraction Wanggaoliao, where you can enjoy the night view of Taichung, and only about a 7-minute drive from Rainbow Village. The hotel has convenient parking, friendly service staff, clean hotel, large hot spring pool in the room, and diverse breakfast. It is recommended to stay here for tourism."

"This is our second stay here, and it was just as excellent as our previous visit. The environment is comfortable and spotless, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious. The service was impeccable. Most importantly, my entire family was very satisfied. Thank you to the hotel for the thoughtful arrangements! 😊"

"There must be more mosquitoes on the mountain. I forgot to bring anti-mosquito liquid. The store provides free of charge. During the meal, I also help to order Acao mosquito repellent. It is far from the city. It is a great place. ☺️ And treat my pets quite friendly and inclusive ☺️"

"It was a theme park hotel. Very far from town. The hotel was not a bad one, the facilities inside are good, but it can be better for the price range. The theme park is very old, and rather run down, some equipments were closed and abandoned with rust... not a bad one, but consider the price paid, it was not value for money...will revisit if the theme park go thru major renovation."

"This is the second stay, because I stayed once 7 years ago, I feel very good and happy. This time I came to Taichung and became a hand-chosen homestay. The room is not a lot. The occupants are more disciplined, so they are all relatively quiet. It is definitely a good rest place. Sitting outside at night because there is a breeze blowing, it is definitely a good place to relax,  The trees are all tall. I originally wanted to go to Taichung next time. I said that I would definitely stay again, but because of my personal problem, I missed my left neck pillow at the homestay. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, I can clearly say it, I leave the location, but I can all talk to you. I have seen it, and I will answer it. There is only one reason. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, Leave on behalf of everyone, because of their fault, lost the most favorite neck pillow, so next time I go to Taichung, I will not choose this place again, not a homestay, it is not good, only ..................☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️"

"Facility view 5 stars: However, the design of the public hot spring cabinet is difficult to open and close, and the hair dryer level is too low❌ 4 stars for staff: The email management department cannot effectively grasp the customer's needs. One question was confirmed three times, but the on-site service staff was very 👌🏻 Price 2 stars: Compared with other hoshinowas in Japan, this one in Guguan not only does not include meal charges, but also charges each item separately, causing trouble for passengers. Moreover, the taste and sophistication cannot be equated with the price, and they are a bit deceived into spending meal charges. "I misread the description in Chinese so this was partly my fault for booking a rather shabby room! The staff were very helpful and friendly though, so that was really lovely. The location was great, and I could easily get around. The only thing was really the amenities inside the room for this room type was flabbergasting! In short, every item inside was just old and of bare quality. You can have old furniture but have the furniture well-maintained. To name a few, the slippers provided were torn, the inside of the fridge was rusty, and there was no shower curtain inside the bathroom! The price was within my budget during peak season and I didn’t want to spend more, plus all other rooms were full, so I didn’t have much to complain about my stay. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious enough. But objectively speaking for the price I was charged, it was definitely pricey given the quality of the room. All I can say is, the photos provided by the hotel were definitely adjusted heavily for lighting and colour. Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay as the room fit my purpose for the stay. It was rather cozy. :)"
