Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel Official ★★★★
"Really clean room, great welcome from reception staff, great for one night stay. About a 20 minute walk into town, easy walk all flat."
Oaks Mackay Carlyle Suites ★★★★
"We are in room 440A and B it said 2 kings on the booking however the bed in A is definitely a queen and was a very hard bed with no topper the bed in B was much nicer to sleep on. I asked for a quiet room and wasn’t too bad however if your noise sensitive there is a bar across the road and you are close to the road and the windows are not double glazed so lots of coins gets through. The place feels like it needs a bit of TLC with some block out curtains for an Oaks brand I expected a lot more. Each room only had sheets and the duvets there are no other blankets so was hard to get termperature right as the kids and I found the duvet too hot and the sheets alone to cold"
ibis Mackay ★★★★
"Convent to airport"
Coral Cay Resort ★★★★
"Rooms were comfortable and nice to stay in but some of the staff could of been abit nicer"
Mid City Motor Inn ★★★
"We were family of three travelling by train and looking for a reasonably priced and well located two night stopover in Mackay. This motel fitted the requirements perfectly. Not fancy but perfectly adequate for our needs. Owner was very accomodating of request for late checkout due to a later flight out. Close to mall, riverwalk, town centre and swimming lagoon."
Rydges Mackay Suites ★★★★
"Absolute pleasure staying here. All boxes ticked. Showers were on point, the restaurant down stairs was absolutely Devine. Definitely worth eating at."

Pacific Sands Apartments Mackay
"I stayed in hotel room 104 and I was absolutely disgusted. •Dirty dishes with food still on them •Drinking glasses (wine glasses in particular) had greasy finger marks and lipstick marks. •Dryer didn’t work •Bedroom had no TV •Fridge cupboard door broken off. •Calcium build up in bathroom and really bad water pressure in shower."
Discovery Parks - Mackay
"Comfortable bed and bedding and very clean and neat.....only thing could improve on is to make sure the wifi works on the tv that was the only down fall I can think of."

Windmill Motel and Events Centre
"Great location but staff at reception told me restaurant was closed for the nite it was 7.45pm.very disappointed."
The Marco Polo
"After entering the room, I felt comfortable. All the facilities in the room were good. The check-in procedure was simple and fast. My car was parked outside the room. The only downside was that there was a lot of dust on the kettle."
White Lace Motor Inn Mackay
"A good experience all round"
International Lodge Motel
"Motel is centrally located within easy walking distance to several dining options. Room was spotlessly clean. Probably the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. If I had one criticism it would be bathroom was a little small but not a deal breaker. Reasonably priced. Parking on sight, love their key locks. They send you a code to put in to the touchpad on your door, no looking for keys. Would I stay again. Definitely."
Alara Motor Inn
"Couldn’t fault anything. Clean. Cool aircon. Comfortable bed. Would stay here again."
Mackay Rose Motel
"There was no other choice but to select"
