A 5 star hotel with a rich history.

Location is great for city shopping. Restaurant is nice and food quality is high. Stayed in a very small room without lake view. People at next building were doing gym and able to look clearly the room without too much privacy. Very noise on traffic due to proximity to the main road if you open windows for fresh air. The bathtub plug is too old and hurt my finger with loose metal chips come off. Recommend to stay only for lake view room during non-peak season. Otherwise, not very cost efficient except you get a big pocket.

Very beautiful hotel with the most wonderful view of the Lake Lucerne. Paid to get upgraded to a junior suite in the hotel and did not regret at all. The view was stunning, also the hotel provides a pair of binoculars which can be used to view the mountains too!

Very nice hotel, but preordered room breakfast came late, and they didn’t tell us the fee for the parking, which was expensive of course.

I like this hotel very much. The location of the hotel is very good. It is very convenient to reach major attractions within walking distance. The front desk staff is very nice. They are enthusiastic and detailed in introducing various information. There is a welcome drink when checking in. When they see children, they also give them gold coin chocolates. The decoration style of the room is high-end retro and elegant. The bed is very comfortable. The mini bar is free on the first night. Next to the hotel is the beautiful Lake Lucerne. It is so pleasant to feed swans 🦢 ducks 🦆 by the lake. There is a delicious Chinese restaurant called Grandma within walking distance. I like the city of Lucerne very much. I will choose to stay here next time I come. I highly recommend it! 👍

The hotel itself is a historical building and is well-known locally. Every detail and corner of the hotel is full of historical elegance. The room itself is not big, but it has everything. The welcome gift prepared is also very heart-warming, and the mini bar is free in the first round. Another good comment is that it comes with a multi-country conversion plug, so there is no need to use another conversion plug. It also has an electric kettle! The service is even better. The staff are really nice! The location of the hotel is very good, less than an 8-minute walk from the train station and right next to Lake Lucerne. It is super convenient to go to every attraction! Breakfast is at the internet celebrity restaurant Juliette, which is divided into a buffet area (some fruits/breads/cold food) and a la carte hot food. I highly recommend the Eggwhite omettle (you can add side dishes, I chose salmon + n kinds of vegetables), which I have eaten recently. The most delicious one! Summary: A highly recommended five-star hotel with good value for money
