Room was huge, definitely more than we expected. Very clean rooms. Location right smack next to the hokan-ji, so it might be a bit crowded but it’s where all the action is. The only bummer is that the accommodation is not staffed most of the time (or at least through our duration of stay) so it might be a bit difficult to get their assistance on anything. Otherwise great place, would recommend.

I feel the floor hygiene could be better. My feet get black after walking for a while and my shoes are a bit sticky. Good facilities and great location Room 5 has a view

The hotel is very beautiful. It is very close to Nienhan and Sanhan and is a two-minute walk away. However, the price/performance ratio is not high, especially when I was dragging three suitcases and two strollers with me. I almost collapsed 😂 but I hate taking pictures of the hotel.

Amazing location! Unforgettable experience. We stayed in room 5 - really liked having our own terrace outside. I read in reviews earlier that you need to walk to the hotel (pedestrian area). We arrived in the evening, by official taxi, they took us to the hotel itself.

Convenient, clean, very close to Kiyomizu Temple, you can take photos when there are few people in the morning and evening, the room is great,

The hotel is very good, but it's not directly accessible by car. It's a bit tiring to walk 300m on the cobblestone road with my luggage. There's no service. The kids in the room next door are very noisy when they check out in the morning. The sound insulation is average, but the view is amazing.

The entrance to the hotel is small and easy to miss, but the exterior of the house is antique and the interior is neat and clean. There are tatami mats on the first and second floors, and those who don’t want to sleep on tatami mats can sleep on beds. Looking out the window on a rainy day is also very artistic.

Needless to say, a very good travel experience. I really want to stay a few more days. No matter the location, quality or service, I have nothing to say. I can only say thumbs up. I am very happy to have such a travel experience. grateful

It’s a bit difficult to drag your suitcase up the mountain and walk up the mountain! When I take a taxi, I don't even get to the door. I have to get off and walk! I live in House No. 8. It is very noisy outside the door. Many tourists take pictures outside the door! The breakfast is very good and you can order it together when you check in!

There are many tourists taking photos in front of the hotel during the day, but it is very quiet at night. Very good place, quite nice hotel. If you need service, you have to go out and shout 😂. There is almost no one at the front desk😂

The location is very good and the kitchenware is complete. There is a supermarket nearby where you can cook it yourself. The disadvantage is that there is only one bathroom, which is inconvenient for people on the second floor.

Qingshui 8 is an independent, 2-story building ~ recommended!
