"The room was spacious and clean, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sunshine in the morning was such a treat! The hotel itself is very photogenic, and the location is unbeatable. The Fishing Village and various shops are just a few minutes' walk away on either side. Strolling along the boardwalk at dawn, waiting for the sunrise, was incredibly relaxing. The food was also quite good. I highly recommend choosing a room in the Ocean View building here; sitting on the balcony sofa and soaking up the sun made me not even want to leave the room."

"My grandson declared before his school even broke up that he wanted to go on a trip with his grandparents during the summer holiday. To fulfill his request, we thought long and hard and decided on a relaxing few days in Xichang, which boasts the lakeside Qionghai and Lushan Mountain, a pleasant climate that's warm in winter and cool in summer, and even a Space City experience that kids love… I compared two hotels on Trip.com that were closest to Qionghai Lake (Qionghai Hotel and Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel), both old five-star establishments. After careful consideration, I booked a main building lake-view twin room at Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel for four nights and five days (July 3rd to 7th). After school finished, my grandson, my wife, and I traveled from Chengdu East to Xichang West by high-speed train, a 3.5-hour journey. We picked up the rental car my son booked on Trip.com and drove to Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel by Qionghai Lake, beginning our 5-day trip to Xichang… We stayed at the Park Hyatt for 5 days and 4 nights and also visited Qionghai Hotel. Firstly, I much preferred the ambiance of the Park Hyatt Hotel. Although Qionghai Hotel has a larger area and lovely greenery, and even peacocks roaming the grounds, its location closer to the city center makes it a bit more bustling compared to the tranquil atmosphere of the Park Hyatt. The water quality of Qionghai Lake in general is also inferior to the section by the Park Hyatt. The coastline here is more pristine and natural, with lush trees swaying in the breeze. Strolling through the woods and along the sandy beach, playing in the shallow water, taking a nap, jogging or cycling on the path, and swimming in the pool – it’s all much more enjoyable! Secondly, while Qionghai Hotel's architecture is indeed stylish and grand, I personally prefer the Southeast Asian style of the Park Hyatt Hotel, which is tucked away in the woods by Qionghai Bay, intermittently revealing a seaside vibe around the lake… No more rambling, let's get to the practical points: First, although the hotel has been open for over a decade, the architecture and facilities are well-maintained. The room facilities don't look old at all, and the Southeast Asian-style ceiling fan is convenient and comfortable to use. Second, the service attitude and cleanliness are thorough and responsible. Third, the breakfast is rich, healthy, and hygienic. Fourth, the pool water is clean. Overall, staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel with my grandson for 5 days and 4 nights was a good experience, and I discussed the few minor issues with the front desk."

"This trip to Xichang with my family was a perfect experience, lasting two nights and three days of sightseeing. The entire trip was comfortable and enjoyable! The weather in Xichang was perfect, sunny and pleasant, adding to the happiness of the trip and making this family vacation especially wonderful. A special thank you to Manager Hou from the hotel front desk, who proactively added us on WeChat on the first day of our check-in and served as our dedicated butler throughout the trip, providing meticulous and heartwarming service. The hotel grounds are very large, with convenient shuttle buses for getting around. Whenever we needed to go out, a simple message was all it took, and a vehicle was quickly arranged, saving us the trouble of walking. Manager Hou also thoughtfully planned a three-day itinerary tailored to our travel time, a well-structured and not rushed schedule that allowed us to deeply experience the scenery of Xichang, making the trip truly memorable. The hotel is very popular, and even during holidays with many group guests, the service and quality remained uncompromised. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the environment was clean and well-maintained. The park boasts a tranquil and elegant environment, lush greenery, and exceptionally beautiful scenery. From the hotel itself, one can enjoy panoramic views of the verdant Lushan Mountain, offering a soothing and expansive vista. The hotel's location is superb; a left turn from the hotel leads directly to the Qionghai-Lushan Scenic Area, adjacent to a national-level resort. Mornings spent jogging or strolling nearby, breathing in the fresh air, are incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, the hotel's facilities, services, and location were impeccable, providing our family with a truly perfect stay. It offers exceptional value for money and a fantastic experience; we will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Xichang!"

"The hotel is about 500 meters from Qionghai Wetland Park. There's a convenient shuttle bus service around the park. It's about 1.5 kilometers from Dashiban Village and about 3.5 kilometers from Golden Beach. It's currently the off-season, so there weren't many guests. The staff at check-in, Xiao Jin, accommodated our needs, arranging a quiet, sunny room and introducing nearby attractions and restaurants. They were very helpful in answering any questions we had. They recommended Yangjia Fish Restaurant, about 300 meters away. We ordered stir-fried eel with cured pork, which was delicious with rice. The vegetables were cooked with lard. We've eaten eel quite often, but this time it felt like wild-caught, and the price was reasonable. At 8 pm, the hotel offers complimentary fruit, snacks, and cold dishes. We were lucky enough to catch a large quantity of local blueberries, which were 65 yuan per jin (500g) – huge and fresh! The lakeside boardwalk is perfect for walking and cycling around the lake. It takes about 35 minutes by taxi from the hotel to Xichang West Railway Station. Traffic can be congested on weekends, so allow extra time. I would definitely choose the Howard Johnson Hotel again for its pristine environment next time."

"Overall, I am quite satisfied with it. However, the hotel is semi-open. The room we stayed in faced the commercial street and was on the second floor. There were bars and restaurants everywhere. It was very noisy at night. The door to the balcony was broken and could not be closed. There was also a big brother quarreling downstairs in the early morning. I was really impressed. The sound was like it was right next to my ear. Earplugs were prepared in the room, but to be honest, it didn't help. I was surprised to have a good night dessert, but only one was delivered the next day and I didn't know how to divide it. After asking by phone, it was delivered quickly. As for breakfast, it felt very simple. I thought there was no set meal on the first day and didn't ask about it. On the second day, someone came to ask whether it was Chinese or Western. P.S. The speakers were quite a surprise."

"This hotel in Jeju Island is absolutely gorgeous! 💕 We stayed at a hotel in the Moonlit Town with our family, right next to Qionghai Lake. The hotel is white, making it very eye-catching and perfect for taking photos. The room had a balcony with a stunning sea view, offering a breathtaking panorama of Qionghai Lake. There's also a meditation space at a higher level in the hotel. Relaxing while enjoying the beautiful view of Qionghai Lake was incredibly soothing. It's a fantastic spot for taking photos! The hotel has a wide variety of dining options. I even tried the local specialty, steamed fish in a clay pot, which was incredibly delicious; just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The area around the hotel is very convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment, so you'll never be bored. If you're coming from Chengdu, you can take the high-speed train from Chengdu South Station to Xichang West Station in 3 hours. Once in Xichang, following the route ”Xichang West - Moonlit Town - ... Jinlin Beach” will allow you to visit all the major attractions."

Xichang is a summer resort that does not lose Dali, and the Bohai Sea is a lake landscape that does not lose the Bohai Sea, and the Lushan Mountain by the Bohai Sea does not lose the Cangshan Mountain. The temperature of the summer vacation is more than ten to twenty, which makes the city have a beautiful environment and a more summery function. Dali has Bai nationality, Xichang has Yi nationality, and all have ethnic minority culture. If there are many online red check-in points in Dali, then Xichang's Bohai Sea is more like a place to relax at home, and the photos are also made. I knew Xichang was a satellite city before, and this year I re-acquainted this city because I accompanied the elderly to nostalgia (the child's grandfather worked here 50 years ago). The location of this hotel is on the shore of the Bohai Sea at the foot of the Bohai Mountain. A few minutes walk is the Bohai sightseeing bus stop. The Bohai Lake around the hotel is downstairs. It is still a moonlight town not far from walking. Booking must strive to book a room with a terrace, the room with a terrace is on the 3rd floor. In fact, his rooms are facing the sea, the lobby is on the fourth floor (by the driveway). There is a tree in front of the 1-2 Building. There is a tree blocking the view. The 4-5 Building does not have a terrace but can also see the sea view. The key is a 180-degree sea view. Other hotels are about the same price as 45 degrees sea view, or the same 180-degree sea view price is twice that of his family, and the location is not necessarily as good as his home. Sitting on the terrace to see the sea view, walking downstairs on the sea trail in the evening, beautiful. There is a direct bus to the torch square in the city center downstairs. In fact, it is not bad to take a taxi. It is not far from Jianchang Ancient City, Tangyuan, Torch Square, and Dashiban Ancient Village (Lingying Temple) for ten minutes. We are with the elderly and children. It is a business car rented and the hotel parking is convenient. The hotel restaurant provides breakfast, although the style is relatively simple compared to many big hotels, and there are many Chinese styles. My daughter and I have eaten his rice noodles for five consecutive mornings. It is really great to not want to change the taste. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Xichang again, I still live here. Already highly recommended to friends."
