Luxury Hotels in Fuqing

"This was my first time in Fuqing, and I was surprised to find a five-star hotel in a county-level city. The hotel is very new, and both the service and facilities are excellent. Every time I took a taxi, the doorman would help open and close the car door. The hotel gym also has a lot of equipment, unlike typical budget hotels that only have treadmills. For fitness enthusiasts, it’s definitely sufficient, with leg press machines, cable crossovers, glute/hamstring machines, hack squats, high pulldowns, seated leg raises, and more. The hotel room was spacious, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and most importantly, it had a bathtub, which I absolutely love. The hotel breakfast was very rich, offering Western, Chinese, and local Fuqing dishes. Plus, the local Fuqing snacks seemed to vary daily. One day I remember having bian rou (wontons), oyster cakes, and xian mian (thin noodles). All in all, I give Sheraton full marks in every aspect. If I come to Fuqing again, I will definitely choose Sheraton. International chains are worth experiencing."

"Facilities: There's an outdoor hot spring downstairs, and a children's playground on the third floor. Overall, the facilities are suitable for family trips and offer good value for money. The wildlife park is right next door, making it very convenient for visitors. Cleanliness: Overall good, but perhaps due to its age, the bathroom drains had a slight odor. Environment: The room's terrace has a great view, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Service: The receptionist was very attentive, and the breakfast staff were responsive and friendly."
