No. 1 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Lujiang"I booked this hotel for my wife, who is Chinese. I wasn't allowed to use my trip coins. She was in town to register our Hong Kong marriage at the Hukou office. The room they booked her into was not the one that was advertised. I booked a panoramic double room but what is shown in the pictures is not what she received.
I suspect because she is Chinese she was downgraded. She said the room was old and not good. They did switch her to another room for an upgrade but it still looked like the same type of room. It was very small when compared to the pictures on trip.com.
At first, we thought this was a hotel we could stay at again when I come to Anhui to visit her family. After her experience, we will probably not stay here. I have very high standards and always expect to get what I pay for. Additionally, her reservation included the free breakfast buffet. She said the breakfast was low quality.
Also, the reservation included a free gift. She did not receive a free gift, as promised."

"My parents, my partner, and I came from Hefei city to Lujiang for a weekend staycation. Our top priority was finding a place that met everyone's needs.

My husband and I work hard, so for our vacation, we just wanted a place with good air, excellent service, and convenient facilities where we could relax. We chose the Guanshanfang, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green hills and a pond. When we opened the windows, the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, filled the room – it was incredibly soothing.

The hotel has an in-house restaurant that serves three meals a day. Breakfast is complimentary, while other meals are self-paid, costing around 100+ RMB per person. The menu offers a good variety, and considering we didn't have to leave the hotel, the food quality and price were acceptable.
- Service
The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed could be delivered to our room, and they patiently answered our questions and offered guidance regarding travel advice and everyday queries. On busy weekends, things occasionally felt a bit rushed, likely because the hotel is relatively new and still finding its rhythm.
- Getting Around
For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there's a mountain about 500m from the hotel suitable for trekking, with a temple at the summit. Additionally, about 10 kilometers away, you can access the Lunan Chuanzang Scenic Route for a scenic drive up to Zhaiji Mountain for some breathtaking views. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan on exploring, driving is recommended.
- Other Amenities
The hotel features a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. They also offer sound healing and handmade sachet workshops. Even if you don't venture out, there's enough to keep you occupied and entertained for at least a day within the hotel. I hope they'll add sports facilities like a badminton court in the future, which would surely attract even more guests.
Overall, we were very happy we chose Daiaoshanju for this trip; it's definitely worth a visit."

"This is the second time for the whole family to take a hot spring bath. The room environment and hygiene are quite good. I brought my family from Hefei to take a hot spring bath on the weekend. Because I didn’t want to take a big pool with a lot of people, I studied it on Ctrip for a long time and finally chose this hot spring hotel with a private room. As a result, after arriving at the hotel at 12 o'clock, I was told that the warm water would not be available until two or three in the afternoon. When I came back with my family after dinner, the front desk told me that it would be after eight o'clock in the evening. Finally, I gave a few tickets to the big pool next door and let the family go. When I came back at nine o'clock in the evening, I found that there was still no hot water. It took a long time to get a little hot water, and it was not very hot, and it was cold water again after a little bit. It was impossible to soak at all. I said that I came for the private bath this time, but it was a pity that I didn’t get it, and I was too lazy to argue with the hotel. But the children were still very happy to take a hot spring bath in the big pool. I rushed back to Hefei early on Monday morning to send the children to school."

I didn't want to arrive in Hefei so early, so I planned to find a hotel to rest in the middle of the road.
I looked at many hotels, basically all the top 10 on Ctrip, and finally decided to come to this experience.
Environment:
The whole homestay is located at the end of a village. It may feel like a photo scam for the first time. I asked the housekeeper and learned that this homestay was built because of lotus, so the lotus season is the most beautiful.
Facilities:
The overall facilities are relatively complete, and there are all that should be there. The large hot spring pool on the balcony of the room should be the feature of the hotel, but to be honest, the first floor is a bit awkward, so I moved the first floor that the housekeeper originally prepared to the second floor.
Service:
This should be one of the reasons why I gave the hotel 5 stars. When I arrived, it was originally a room on the first floor, but I wanted to go to the second floor, so later they prepared a room on the second floor for me, because their double bed is to disassemble the big bed, and I was not unhappy. I helped me do it again, and I sent WeChat to the housekeeper if I needed anything, and I would send it to you. If you have any questions, you can ask at any time, and there will be timely replies!
There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is very comfortable to eat
There is a hot pot set meal for dinner, and the price-performance ratio is OK
Evaluation:
1. I personally think that the whole place is not suitable for parents and children. I brought my children this time, but it may be because the weather is relatively cold. The housekeeper said that there will be many children swimming in the infinity pool at the door in summer, so parents and children may be more suitable for summer
2. There is no barrier for the first floor bathing pool, but it doesn’t matter if young people bathe later, and children may get sick easily
3. This place is very suitable for girlfriends, brothers, and friends to get together, take a bath together, and then drink some wine downstairs at night to watch the sunset and sunrise
4. There are not many activities in this place, and you need to be dazed and empty
