"If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would! Tenuta Di Tramonte is absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautiful with the most staggering views from every angle, and the freshwater pool is incredible. Having an Aperol spritz in the sun by the pool with my book was the most relaxed I have felt for ages. A big thank you to Giulio and the team for fantastic service as well. The rooms are gorgeous with lots of personality and have been thoughtfully designed and decorated. The food is also delicious, using local produce and ingredients from their vegetable garden, you can taste the difference. If you are looking for a quiet oasis for rest and relaxation I couldn't recommend it more highly."

"The hotel is in a very peaceful location . We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and sitting in the garden . The restaurant was very good but it would be nice to have different menu options . We stayed for 4 nights and the menu was the same every day . It is it not easy to go out to another restaurant unless you have a car . Also, there are a lot of stairs including stairs up to reception when you arrive . We would have requested a ground floor room if we had realised."

"This is in a great location right in the centre of Lucca. The room was clean and comfortable with complementary water and tea / coffee. Breakfast was a coffee and croissant at a bakery round the corner. Huge kudos to the host Matteo whose communication was fantastic via WhatsApp. He was super helpful and responded quickly to messages."

"Not in the center, but in a good position near Lucca's walls. Fantastic and helpful staff, who helped us change the room, because in the first one we had to wash ourselves in the bathtub, repaired with silicone, placing our heads under the tap, since the shower was unusable. Acceptable breakfast, considered the price."

"The staff were rude and unhelpful. None of the plugs in my apartment worked, the lights flickered and the front door to my apartment did not shut correctly. The morning breakfast was terrible and luls you into a false sense of morning food security. Rooms were clean and it’s a nice city, shame the place was so run down."
