Hotels near The Trappist, Oakland

"Overall it was not bad, the surrounding scenery was also very good, but the car parked in the hotel parking lot at night, the glass was smashed, and there were about three or four cars smashed. The hotel reduced the room rate for 2 days."

"Hampton Inn is a nice chain. This one does not disappoint. Downtown Oakland is lame but who cares. This is a great hotel. You're near the BART as well as the major freeways. You can get to You can get to the city in 10 minutes. Great stay."

"The room is very comfortable and hygienic. The overall environment is good, the facilities are complete, and it also meets the epidemic prevention standards. The product is good and I will repurchase it. It is so satisfying every time. Great! The staff are all kind, friendly and enthusiastic."

"We were at an event at the Oakland Marriott City Center and switched to Courtyard Oakland Downtown (where we only had to cross the street) after the experience at Jack London Inn (not recommended) which although only a 10 minute walk away changes a lot. Spacious room for four, friendly staff, laundry available, breakfast available. Metro very close that takes you to the airport, San Francisco, Berkley ... ... ... Thank you"

"The hotel is very new, the decoration and facilities are well designed, and the services are in place. There is a spacious and bright public area on the second floor where you can drink tea and coffee for free, which is suitable for simple business meetings. It is walking distance from BART station, Amtrak train station, and Chinatown, which is very convenient. The only thing that needs to be considered is the surrounding safety issues. Because it is located in the city center and the city hall is right outside the window. There are many homeless people, so try to go out as little as possible at night."

"Doesn’t have any inside windows but if you from any windows actually very green many food spots and many stores nearby are walking distance and BART which is a form of transportation is very close by I really like everything about this room very cozy very clean and the customer service is fantastic here every time"

"My kid had a basketball training camp at this hotel, so we stayed for four nights. The room was tiny and the cleanliness was just okay. The surrounding area felt a bit unsafe. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room; you had to go down to the front desk to get it yourself. Parking was also very expensive at $45 a day."

"Traveling with family. The advantages of this hotel are: the bed is very comfortable, the room is large, it is close to the lake, the scenery is nice, the location is OK, there is an outlet mall about 10 minutes drive away, but it is crowded after Christmas, and the waiting time for shopping is long. Disadvantages are: the room lighting is too dim, the heating is not hot at the beginning, it was freezing on the first day, and the hotel engineering staff came to fix it on the second day. The toilet is not very easy to use. Other things are OK. Service: The night we went, Luis and the white lady provided good service, especially Luis, who was considerate of the customers, and the African-American lady that night and the African-American lady the next morning provided particularly good service. The service of another waiter was average, sometimes not very friendly, and I hope it will improve. The hotel is about half an hour drive from San Francisco, the navigation is quite clear, and Gaode is good!"

"Really nice hotel and a good bargain for us. Right by the Bay Bridge to spare city expenses, but a mall with numerous food options right across the street. Trader Joes within walking distance. Really nice setup in the room. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Restaurant hotel and bar offered a pleasant array of drinks. I had a great chat with the bartender as the night wound down."
