"Great hotel! It's not luxurious, but it offers excellent value for money. The location isn't downtown, but it's strategic; a few minutes by subway will take you to Manhattan and everywhere else. Friendly staff, room cleaned every day, we couldn't have asked for more for the price we paid. I recommend it."

"The hotel's exterior looked pretty good, but once I got into the room, I noticed the facilities were a bit dated. However, for a city like New York where space is at a premium, the room size was actually quite generous. There are surprisingly many Asian restaurants nearby, including Chinese, Korean, and Thai options. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there's a cafe and light meal options right across the street. It's also very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Overall, the value for money is decent."

"The room was quite small; it was hard to move around the aisle once our luggage was placed. No complimentary bottled water was provided. The towels had a strong kerosene smell, as if they'd been dried over a kerosene flame, which was really unpleasant – good thing I brought my own. The air conditioning was broken. The hotel is about an 11-minute walk from the metro station. It's also quite close to the pier, so there was a loud booming noise until 2 AM, which was very disruptive. The soundproofing is very poor, but the front desk was willing to help us switch to a room away from the noise source, which was a nice gesture."

"The hotel's surroundings are rather poor, as it's located in a predominantly Black neighborhood and the road to the subway station is quite dirty. The hotel rooms, however, are relatively new, being in a newly opened location. With breakfast included, the price is reasonable, considering the hotel's relatively new interior."

"The receptionists are very nice and friendly. They gave me a lot of assistance. The location is pretty good I think, with walkable distance to the subway, and I get to downtown with subway in around half an hour. The environment near the hotel is also nice, some shop and restaurant available. Room is ok, quiet and good manhattan’s view."

"The staff are very friendly and they provide free breakfast. There is a well equipped gym. Although the location Wasn't very convenient, the hotel provided a free shuttle bus to and from the subway station."

"Location was excellent and felt very safe , right beside aliman mosque. Lots of good food options around. Not too far from Astoria boulevard train station N and W trains. All front desk guys were courteous,polite ,kind and always ready to assist over and above board. Will definitely stay here over and over again"

"Cons: 1. The location is a bit unsafe. 2. The large, floor-to-ceiling air conditioner in the room is quite noisy and needs to be turned off to sleep. These are standard features in all hotels, so there's nothing you can do about it. Pros: 1. Professional service and quick check-in. 2. I checked out a day early, and the front desk was very attentive and printed out a check-in form and informed me that a full refund would be given. 3. Clean and tidy. 4. Breakfast is basic, and free coffee and water are available in the lobby. 5. There's a rest area in the lobby with internet access and a printer."

"For the price paid, the cleanliness and the location of the hotel is worth it. We wished there was a kettle and microwave (microwave only available at ground floor in front of check-in counter). Fun tip: capital hotel located beside hotel the villa is more affordable and runs under the same management and room style. We didn't go for it due to its fair reviews but realized that after we arrived. When we first arrived too, we had a rude awakening. You have to pass through an affordable housing neighborhood where there might some weird looks here and there or unusual antics displayed. But, since the hotels are there, there was also a fair amount of tourists which ease our minds. I guess some practice of judgement is required. Have fun!"

"When I checked in for the second time, I accidentally received a small gift of chocolate biscuits from the hotel logo, and I was surprised and happy. However, I was arranged in the room facing the platform. I took the video and photos of the subway entering the station. It felt that the opportunity was rare and it was quite good. But I felt okay after sleeping all night, and the family members didn't sleep well at all. After negotiating with the front desk, I immediately changed the room. The breakfast was quite good, but the level of the waiter was uneven. There was a child who just came to work and was more rigid and obeyed the rules. Other waiters are very good at talking and thinking about customers. Tips: 1. If you want to travel conveniently and sleep quietly, you must communicate with the hotel as soon as possible. 2. If you get unexpected help, thank the service staff for giving cash tips on the spot, which is more than swiping the QR code back to the room to receive unexpected surprises 😜"
