"Facilities: Excellent! They offer free coffee and unlimited drinking water.
Cleanliness: The towels and bed sheets were very clean, and the toiletries provided were great.
Environment: It's right in the city center, which makes getting around super convenient.
Service: I was able to check in early at 12 PM, and the staff's attitude was excellent."
"The communication was great, had an issue with the heat in my room and they changed my room without any problems.
Was a bit cold in the lobby but other than that, my stay was great!"
"Always love this place, when you need somewhere to stay in a pinch this is the spot. Flat rates, get there early and the guy at the desk will def help you out. Always kind and very sweet. Guest policy is kinda lame, and parking is minimal. If your just there for a night or two no problem."
"It was about 20 minutes walk from the airport bus 500 stop near downtown and about 40 minutes from Daikin Park. The room was large and clean for one person and there was a sofa. There was also a bathtub. Breakfast was included. There was also a pool, hot tub and gym. There is a convenience store with a nearby gas station, and I used it often."
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at a youth hostel that truly stood out for its exceptional qualities. Nestled in a residential area, its location was incredibly convenient, offering a tranquil retreat just a bike ride away from the city center—less than 10 minutes to be exact. This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment.
The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly.
What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care.
The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers.
In summary, this hostel was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a home, or perhaps more accurately, a homestay. It's undoubtedly the best hostel I've ever stayed in globally, blending the comfort of a home with the adventurous spirit of a hostel."
"The rooms were clean and the staff was nice but the hotel itself has issues. You can tell from the retro fitted outlets it’s an older hotel that’s been renovated. When we arrived one of the elevators were block off & broken down but 3 others were working. Our first night the air conditioning unit in half of the hotel went out and we woke up at 4:30 with our room 80 degrees and humid. They did move us to another room for the rest of our stay, so that was acceptable. It was a rough start but overall a pleasant experience."
"The hotel's literary atmosphere is very strong! The tables in the hall are big drums, free coffee and sweets in the morning and afternoon, and the front desk and foyer are good. What I want to say is that the customer service service has not been called for fifteen minutes. Later, I can't wait for their service and go to sleep. Hotel breakfast is not self-help, I also have a good point, can eat! The hotel bed is relatively small, the two adults with a child will be very crowded, the bed is also super soft, the children are lying down and pressing a pit, the waist is not good enough to pay attention. The location is superb, the art gallery is one minute opposite, and the natural science museum is worth three or five minutes. However, the Marriott Hotel in the Museum District where I stayed the night before was also very good. I went out to the subway. I didn't have to go up and down the underground passage. I went to the art gallery area three times and got off at the front of the hotel."
"It's an old hotel, so even though it was remodeled, I was worried when I went in.
I thought it was because the lobby and reception were ordinary.
Oh my goodness, the room was clean and very modern~~~
What was disappointing was the pillow, which I had not seen anywhere else in the world.
It was a pillow with a lot of cotton tangled together, but it wasn't uncomfortable.
It was even quite comfortable. On the other hand, I wonder if it was clean since even the cotton was washed.
I also wanted to haha
And since it's an old hotel, even if it's remodeled, the plumbing can't be changed.
There probably wasn't one.
ㅡ.ㅡ;;;;; I definitely recommend bottled water for brushing your teeth."
"Very close to the exhibition hall, about 10 minutes walk, the room is large, the staff is very nice, because the flight is changed, arrived a few hours in advance, thought that it would not be able to stay, the front desk was very patient to help solve, the restaurant pizza tastes very good, very recommended."
"Trip was a last minute get together for a Venue near this location (Springhill). Accommodations were Excellent, Room was very Clean. Staff at Front Desk were very Friendly and Informative. Was Greeted with a Smile as Well as at Check Out. Stay was very Pleasant and would Recommend to others. Would stay again if the opportunity arises."

Amazing
KKim0916The Post Oak Hotel was amazing! My unforgettable Post Oak experience started with checking in with Miss Gabby.
The Post Oak Hotel professionalism makes this 5 star hotel different from your everyday hotel.
Post Oak Concierge Rubin was a pleasure to speak with regarding my dining options.
Lunch at Bloom & Bee delicious. Shelby was my waitress. The food & cocktails were delicious.
I sat poolside relaxing without one concern. Emma made sure I had everything I needed poolside, towels, cocktails, shaded area along with water, what more can I say. And my high floor room views of Houston Texas downtown, comfy bed, state of the art TV’s, plush bathroom wrapped in Marble with luxurious chandelier’s and the most needed lighting for pictures and videos.
Some of my room goodies, Electronic coffee maker, TV’s that rises up from a cabinet, nightstands with dim lighting, remote controls from a apple tablet, desk & cozy couch, luxurious soap & hand lotions, marble soaking jet tub and If I needed anything more, I could ring my personal butler.
Thank you Post Oak Hotel my experience was exceptional.
Sincerely Kim❤️
刘刘白子_lssGreat Service, Lovely Breakfast — but Room Noise and In-Room Dining Could Improve
I recently stayed at the Thompson Houston and overall had a great experience, especially thanks to the excellent service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Their attention to detail really made me feel welcomed, and I was touched when they surprised me with a graduation cake — a thoughtful gesture I truly appreciated.
The hotel breakfast was a highlight. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and once again, the service stood out. Dining in the morning felt like a treat thanks to the welcoming atmosphere.
That said, there were a few downsides that affected my stay. The room was quite noisy, even late into the night. It was hard to relax or fall asleep with the amount of outside noise coming through.
Also, I ordered in-room dining on two occasions. On the first day, everything was great. However, the next day the fries were noticeably soggier, the salad was just a bowl of greens with six tiny avocado cubes, and — most concerning — the aioli on the side looked like it had already been used.
Overall, Thompson Houston left a positive impression on me, mostly due to its exceptional staff and quality breakfast. I hope they can improve the soundproofing and ensure consistency in their in-room dining service.
LLaodangqingyunA very good hotel, clean, well-equipped, and reasonably priced. There are many restaurants and shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient. The only thing is that the parking fee of $50 is more expensive.
Facilities: good
Health: good
Good environment
good service
GGuest UserThe experience was quite pleasant. The members of staff who attended to our needs during our one week training were helpful and responsive to our needs.
Mariam, at the reception, was willing to assist and offer help upon request. The location of the hotel and the facilities were fantastic as well. All round pleasant experience
陈陈The environment is good, the service staff is enthusiastic, and there is a gym downstairs. Unfortunately, I didn't know when I left. There are no shopping malls nearby, but it is not far from shopping malls such as Galleria
徐徐浩凯123456The smell of the disinfectant is quite strong, the breakfast is good, the stay is very convenient, the room card is a little bit bad, the front desk staff changes very fast, suitable for students living in Houston.
