"My husband and I really enjoyed are stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are very very clean and the bed and pillows are so comfortable. So many stores close by. Everything you can thunk of is right there. .. we will go back again."

"The hotel room itself was nice and spacious. The breakfast was sp**** and the employees were rude except for the front desk clerk. She was very nice but the folks in the breakfast area were rude to everyone and there was barely anything out to eat. We had to ask multiple times for any type of bread to run through the toaster. The eggs were actually a shade of green. I have photos and a video if you need them."

"Again I always stay here! I visit too much! Now that I have made the decision to move back I probably won’t have to stay with them much anymore unless it’s a weekend getaway! Either way, the room was clean, bed very comfy, staff was as always very friendly, very accommodating not that I ever ask for anything but still! Check in and check out was breeze! The location is perfect, close to shopping and food, easy to access to everything! I honestly don’t stay anywhere else!"

"My only knock is the water pressure in the shower is lacking. I initially didn't think I would be able to take a shower as the water fell so close to the wall. After turning the hot water up higher than I normally would, the pressure increased enough to make it possible. Aside from that everything was great and the people were all nice that I interacted with. Will book here again when I travel to Columbia again."

"The hotel itself was amazing! Beds comfy, slept very well! Room smelled horrible, light flickered, desk was notified, bathroom had hair everywhere, beer caps, on the floor, room had an odor. Yes I cleaned up the room prior to me staying completely in the room. TV wouldn’t stay on. Fridge rattled all night, pillows were comfortable though. Unfortunately, the reservation was non refundable so we had to stay. Otherwise we probably would have left and for the price we weren’t losing that amount of money. The location I have to admit is perfect, close to everything, shopping, food, gas, interstate you name it. The staff, I can’t speak enough on the staff, friendly, kind and very welcoming. This isn’t my usual hotel when I come to Columbia, but it was a stay."

TTing YunStaying on campus was a very comfortable experience. With a gym and bike rental available downstairs, everything was super convenient. The only drawback was the lack of a main light in the room, but overall, it was a great place to stay.

GGuest UserI must say my children an I we have been throughout our share of hotels from marriotts to hiltons to just ur regular quality and I have to say by far my kids and I have been so welcomed and just felt like we are apart of a big family ... I have to give all props to me frank at the front desk ... From my reservation overnthebphone to in person ... He is quite an amazing person and has truly made our stay wonderful thank u mr frank .. I hope to come across more employees like him.in future ...

GGuest UserHere it felt like Christmas morning every day complete with a hearty breakfast every morning! And the hospitality was truly top-notch. Too cold to swim, but I did get my workout on. Overall, it was a great experience.

Jjames michaelRoom picture on website didn't exactly match the room i got. The tv thought it was December 28, 2004 which meant the channel guide was useless (front desk said technician was coming next day). Our toilet was on and off running most of the night. The TV was off to the right side of the bed as opposed to right in front of it like most hotel rooms. Buffet breakfast had some odd hot alternatives versus the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage potatoes. Overall, just a 3 out of 5.

GGuest UserHighly recommend this downtown Columbia hotel! The location is perfect, with plenty of great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly and welcoming service. One of the highlights was the food truck in the lobby, serving up delicious eats that added to the overall experience. Can't wait to come back!

GGuest UserI will start with the good. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy.
Room 128 had no kleenex, clock, hangers or hairdryer. If MainStay is supposed to be like home, this place wasn't! Apparently they are trying to save the earth because the lighting is so dim you will not be reading in the room or applying makeup. Bathroom has a vessel sink which is a pain. There was a bar of soap and nowhere to put it. No plastic cups for brushing your teeth, but instead they have glass tumblers. Dangerous if one of those hits the tile bathroom floor! The web-site advertises free breakfast but there is no such thing. Then take it off of your web-site!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. Unfortunately, the electric blinds couldn't be operated as the switch wasn't working. Also, on two separate days, they ran out of coffee and eggs at breakfast. Other than that, the breakfast was alright.

GGuest UserWe went out for breakfast about 8:15 no plates, no orange juice, no milk, no toast a couple of muffins and only enough batter for one waffle very disappointing. I had an appointment at the VA later and was expecting breakfast before I went
