"The room is not big but clean and sufficient. There is a supermarket and subway within a 10-minute walk, which is convenient for travel. The campus environment is beautiful and the price is reasonable, suitable for travel."

"I stayed in the Phoenix Hotel with my daughter and sister. The facilities in the hotel are really excellent and easy to walk from Union station. However, i found out that on the first day i came into the room,there was a lot of dust on the floor and small pieces of snacks. Moreover, during our stay we had to contact the staff at the front desk, some staff made me feel really upset about services. One night,my sister went to ask the staff about how to open the laundry room , there were 2 staff members on duty and one of them said that if you could not open it meant it closed, and then he turned to laugh with another lady staff on the counter. We are Asian people, many many times that the staff in this hotel made us feel like they were looking down on Asian people and tried to make fun of us. That made us feel really bad about that. But there were not all staff that treated us bad like that,there were still good and service minded staff in hotels such as the doorman and the staff on the last day we checked out."

"The hotel boasts new facilities and a youthful, urban theme, hence its name 'CitizenM'. A unique feature is that everything in the room is controlled by a single iPad, including scheduling room cleaning. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit small, so if that's a concern for you, this might not be the best fit. Also, the bed can only be accessed from one side. It's more suitable for solo travelers or couples looking for a cozy vibe, or for those who want to socialize and enjoy drinks downstairs, perhaps even for entrepreneurial or creative endeavors."

"This place is top notch without being pretentious and is very well placed. Couple minutes walk to JapAmer WW2 memorial and 10-15min further to post office and union station. Staff are friendly, professional and responsive. Rooms cleaned on regular basis. Amenities were great. Place is pet & ADA friendly. Just need more coffee makers. I'm officially a fan."

"This is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've stayed at in Washington. It's very welcoming and the price is incredibly friendly. The hotel offers a gym and a pool, and the rooms are spacious and bright—just great. I made sure to clean up my room before checking out; I hope we Chinese can leave a good impression in America too!"

"I loved everything about this hotel—from the location and room size to the cleanliness, helpful staff, and complimentary breakfast. The only downside was the kitchenette, which had very limited functionality. It’s essentially just an extra sink alongside standard business hotel amenities like a mini-refrigerator, capsule coffee machine, and two cups. I was hoping for something a bit more useful, so that part didn’t quite meet my expectations."

"The hotel is very clean and well-equipped. Large rooms. However, the main thing I didn't like was that the garage is open until 6 pm and if you leave by car and arrive a little late, they won't let you into the parking lot. Because of this, we had to look for another garage far away. This was a big minus."

"This is an excellent hotel! Its location is superb, putting all major attractions and museums within a 1-2 kilometer radius. There's a fantastic Thai restaurant just 200 meters from the entrance, and Washington D.C.'s Chinatown is an easy 300-meter walk. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of hot water. Each room also comes equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. A complimentary breakfast is provided, and the variety of options is quite impressive! 👍"

"Clean and friendly. The morning breakfast was nice, nothing overly special but a good breakfast to hit the day strong. Overall the location was nice and a quick walk to the metro to get around DC. The room was clean and well maintained. A solid hotel for a fair price"
