The service was good especially the front desk staff, Ahmed, Jay and Vickey. Amenities in terms of gym and spa are good. No room service. A/C a little temperamental. Rooms are large and comfortable especially for families. Personally I liked the location lots of good places to eat and services nearby. It’s also peaceful and green with great views from some rooms

Absolutely loved staying at the Churchill Hotel! It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to DuPont Circle and the Metro. Very safe neighborhood. There is a separate area in the room with a desk. Actually, large enough to use as a dressing room! We will definitely be going back and staying at the Churchill.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Washington. The bed is very comfortable with high-quality bedding, which made for a great night’s sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is spacious and well equipped; although some of the equipment is a bit outdated, it still works well and gets the job done. Overall, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice green travel, because I saw the evaluation is good, the price is moderately close to the city center, it was booked. After coming, I feel very good. First of all, because the hardware facilities of the Youth Hostel are very limited, an excellent operation team is very important. The counter is very very friendly and can be seen as well-trained. The house was very clean, with ten beds inside, a fan and air circulator, and curtains to control the sun. When I arrived, I was too tired to sleep for one afternoon. There were only three people staying that night. The public living room on the first floor has old-fashioned watching games, and there are also learning to learn. Also met a person in the Dutch physics college phd, added linkdin... overall, very interesting experience

Guest rooms are very spacious. Location is great: walking distance to Georgetown and five minutes to the DuPont Circle Red Line station. Check in and check out were fast. The fitness center equipment was upgraded during my visit. The pool was, however, closed for the duration.
Staff were friendly. The business center’s printer’s toner needed to be replaced but wasn’t during my visit but front desk staff helped me with printing. Housekeeping staff are nice but sometimes maybe too busy and can forget to replenish everything, such as paper cups for the coffee machines.
Generally very good value hotel.

Overall clean and quiet, good location for both business and leisure purpose. The front desk staff is courteous and helpful. The daily breakfast is ok, though nothing to shout about. There is a small coffeemaker in the room which can also function as a small kettle. WiFi is free and speed is ok.

The hotel is historic and very charming, the room is comfortable, and they offer complimentary coffee in the morning, with coffee, milk, and tea only; I think it should be available 24 hours a day considering the fees charged. Breakfast is not included in the room rate; we encountered a snowstorm the day after our check-in and had to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant, at a cost of approximately US$40.00 per person. The location is excellent, close to the metro and bus stop, as well as a market, and in the most charming neighborhood of Washington.

0.7 miles from the White House, within walking distance. The room is relatively small, probably due to the ground conditions. All the necessary facilities are available. Breakfast is average.

Great
SSleepymarshThe four of us stayed in the same room for a four-day trip. Just enough space to put 4 carry-on size luggages. Good that there's Nespresso machine in the room. Convenient location (close to subway station), and there're some restaurants nearby. Would recommend if you're travelling here!
GGuest UserThe room was compact and small, but the cleanliness was good. There was plenty of convenient public space. The design style was modern, and the location was decent, about a 20-minute walk from Union Station and 35 minutes from attractions like the Parliament Buildings. A major drawback was the absence of cups for water, drinking water, and tooth-brushing. The room was also quite cold, with the heating only going up to 24 degrees Celsius, and the duvet was too thin. I asked the front desk for a heater, but it was still cold, so I ended up sleeping in a thick tracksuit all three nights. Additionally, the shower stall had no handrails, making it unfriendly for older guests. All controls being on an iPad was also inconvenient.
GGuest UserThe location is close to the White House and next to George Washington University. The white building is beautiful, the service is good, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable, I will stay here again next time!!
GGuest UserOur recent stay at the Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall was fantastic for our group of 6! The One Bedroom Two Queen Suite with Sofa Bed provided plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. The suite was perfectly sized with two queen beds in the separate bedroom and a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area. The spacious layout allowed all six of us to move around comfortably without feeling cramped, especially with the separate living and sleeping areas.
Location: 5/5 - Prime spot near the National Mall
Cleanliness: 5/5 - Everything was spotless and well-maintained
Service: 5/5 - Staff was accommodating
Facilities: 5/5 - All amenities exceeded expectations
The suite proved to be an ideal choice for our group of 6. The queen-sized beds, including the sofa bed, provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The living area offered enough space for us to gather and socialize, making it a perfect base for our DC adventure. For anyone traveling with a group of 6, I can confidently say this suite configuration works great, offering both comfort and convenience in an excellent location.
GGuest UserI booked a king-sized room through Ctrip, and the reservation explicitly stated a 1.81-meter king bed. However, upon check-in, we were assigned a room with a bed less than 1.5 meters. After staying one night, we requested a room change, but the hotel insisted that this *was* their 'king-sized room'. Following Ctrip's intervention, we were required to pay an additional fee to upgrade our room, which Ctrip later refunded. When Ctrip contacted the hotel, the hotel's response was, 'We made no mistake! This is precisely the room type that was booked.' At this point, I'm unsure whether the hotel is being dishonest or if Ctrip is involved in deceptive practices. Regardless, I will never stay at this hotel again. A 'king-sized' room with a bed less than 1.5 meters is absolutely unheard of in North America! Furthermore, it remains to be seen whether Ctrip was genuinely misled or if they are themselves deceiving customers.
GGuest UserGood hotel. The location was ideal for us, a walk away from a lot of the tourist attractions. There was a lot of homeless and I wouldnt have liked to have been out late We choose the hotel because of the outdoor pool. We managed to get in it but it is very small (6 people is a squish). Comfy bed. The breakfast was good. There were queues but the signs tell you when the quieter times are - so we were fine. I would stay again
AAnonymous UserThe TV had no signal, and after trying various methods, I gave up. The room door needed to be closed gently to avoid making a loud noise. The toilet flushing was mediocre, and the amenities seemed cheaply made. Most importantly, the room was filled with a pungent, overpowering smell of newly renovated furniture; it was very irritating and made my throat very sore. I suggest the hotel remove the smell (I'm not sure if it's formaldehyde). This is the first time I've experienced such a throat irritation in a new hotel.
GGuest UserThe decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite.
It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.
GGuest UserYou have to pay a 70 dollar ”resort fee” for the amenities. The only amenity worth it is the pool. The pool is a 10 out of 10.
The service is terrible - one person working the check out and also tasked to retrieve your bags.
They have free coffee - yet there is only one coffee machine on the second floor and both times I went to get coffee it was broken. The line was long to even get the coffee. It is outrageous that they have one coffee machine for the entire building.
You get a 10 credit towards your bill for the 70 but the food is overpriced so for 30 bucks you get the same meal at McDonalds.
Don't stay here.
GGuest User
