"I love the location personally because it’s a little tucked away and surrounded by greenery. The hotel staff are very friendly. The rooms are large and some have good views. The furnishings are a little dated but it’s still a lovely feel to the hotel. Depending on the dates it can be good value at times."

"Absolutely loved staying at the Churchill Hotel! It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to DuPont Circle and the Metro. Very safe neighborhood. There is a separate area in the room with a desk. Actually, large enough to use as a dressing room! We will definitely be going back and staying at the Churchill."

"The location is very close to the famous street, the White House, a few minutes walk to Georgetown University, the health is also very good, the 1305 restaurant downstairs is very good and worth trying! "What makes this hotel worthwhile is its location, being close to the subway and amenities like supermarkets, bars, and a snack bar. It also has parking, though it costs $25 per day, but that's typical for city parking prices. The hotel is old and needs renovation, but the beds are very good and comfortable. The bathroom needs an upgrade. Overall, the value for money was good."

"A lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood. There were some deficiencies, however: The heating/cooling system works only one way or the other. Heat had been turned off, and our room was uncomfortably cold. We got an extra blanket but not one of a limited number of space heaters. The lighting in the bathroom is poorly placed and there is no lighting for the desk, which makes it useless, except during the day. The breakfast was minimal for a hotel of this quality."

"The room was small, the bed was small too, my 1.84m tall son's feet were sticking out of the bed when he slept. The exhaust fan and light in the toilet are linked to a switch. When the light is turned on, the exhaust fan turns on, and the sound of the exhaust fan is as loud as a tractor. The toilet, washbasin and bathroom are all complete, but the design is very compact, only about two square meters. The air conditioner was quite noisy, so we didn't turn it on to have a quieter sleep. But strangely, we didn't feel cold. There was only a thin blanket on the bed. Overall it's cheap, just bear with it."

"Overall was a great stayed. Walked in the hotel right hand side was a bar. Also a restaurant on the main floor. The hotel offered valet parking for a fee. (Shop around for parking near by) I picked this hote was walkable and near by Foggy Bottom Metro station very convenient. Uber took about fifteen minutes to Washington DC museum area. Check in was very efficient. Unfortunately we got in some issues regarding for this booking. Long story short, a manager Mahmoud C was very patient and professional to resolve the issues for us. It was not what we wanted but there was no other better choice. We only stayed one night in The Melrose Georgetown Hotel. The room was spacious and well maintained. It was very comfortable."

"On campus, the hotel is a few minutes walk from the school bookstore and Starbucks to fully enjoy the campus environment and facilities. Thanks to Andrew for his professionalism, enthusiasm, responsible service and help, I helped you download Lyft, help me communicate with the driver and pick up the place, and help me get a lot of luggage, if there is no help, he may miss the opportunity. "location is nice, it's about a 20 minute walk from Foggy Bottom and about 25 from Rosslyn (through Key Bridge). but there are some buses on M Street that run quite frequently. the room is nice and cozy. i chose this because it's close to Georgetown campus. the price is reasonable for a couple; it was a bit high for me as a solo traveler."

"Very nice green travel, because I saw the evaluation is good, the price is moderately close to the city center, it was booked. After coming, I feel very good.
