Now Now NoHo offers a classic capsule experience that will feel very familiar if you have traveled through Tokyo. The pods are undeniably small but efficiently equipped with the essentials, including a comfortable bed, a nice robe, and a soft blanket. It is a good idea to prepare your own slippers for moving between your pod and the shared facilities, as the toilets are located within each wing and in the basement.
Finding affordable accommodation in New York is a challenge, and while the price might seem high compared to other countries, it is a functional find for the city. The lack of an elevator and windows means the space can feel a bit confined if you spend too much time inside, but the surrounding neighborhood is a major highlight. You will find plenty of interesting gentrification nearby, including several cool design shops and cafes to explore.

Better than I expected.
It was cleaner than I thought, and the counter staff treated me well. The breakfast options were a bit limited, but that was a shame.
And in the bathroom in the room, I wish you would close the door after showering. Otherwise, the water would be noisy every time you use the water, whether it's the room next door or the room across from you.

The hotel location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station and not far from Chinatown. I stayed around the Chinese New Year, and the area was a bit crowded due to the weather and scaffolding, but overall, getting around was still very easy.
The room was a bit compact, but it was clean and tidied daily. The front desk service was polite, and the complimentary breakfast for two was a great bonus. The breakfast was à la carte with a good variety of choices. There's also a gym in the basement. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience.

The hotel is located in Soho, but there is a good lack of noise at the entrance to Holland Tunnel in the corner of a supermarket that has a deli with good breakfast. The rooms are a little outdated, but cleaning is careful.

When I first got to New York, I lived uptown.
Not a good impression of the whole
Later, I changed to Ludlow and felt that the location is very good
Very close to downtown but not too noisy
There is a bar on the first floor with a good environment
slowly falling in love with new york

Check-in wasn't until after 4 PM, but they were fine with me dropping off my luggage earlier. The hotel's location is excellent, lively yet quiet, and within walking distance to Times Square. It's very convenient for buses and subways, with tons of restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. The shower pressure was incredibly weak; I wouldn't recommend washing your hair there.

The room itself is actually great value for money, but the facilities are basic. There's no paid drinking water in the room, and you have to go to the second floor to buy it, which is really inconvenient. Downstairs, there's a place to store luggage, but not overnight. The location is convenient; it's a 5-6 minute walk to the Charging Bull, and you can easily walk to the New York Stock Exchange and other financial areas. There's a subway entrance directly across from the hotel, with at least four platforms nearby, which is very handy. It's also close to the South Ferry. If you buy a New York City unlimited weekly subway pass, getting around is super easy from here.

Overall, Element Times Square West was a very good base for my 16‑night business stay, and I would return if the rate is right next March or April. The location is excellent – an easy walk to Times Square, Madison Square Garden, and major subway lines, which made getting to meetings and sightseeing very convenient. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, and maintenance responded quickly when I reported an issue with the shower faucet, resolving it within a day.
The room was comfortable, especially the bed, and overall cleanliness was good, though housekeeping only comes every other day, which seems to be their standard practice to reduce housekeeping frequency. This schedule was a bit surprising at first but manageable once I got used to it. Breakfast was included and okay, but the selection was basically the same every day, so it became repetitive after the first few mornings and I ended up going out for breakfast from about day three onward. For a longer stay, more variety would make a big difference. In summary, this hotel works very well if you prioritize a convenient Midtown location and a comfortable room over daily housekeeping and a varied breakfast, and I would be happy to stay again on a future trip if they offer a good rate.

GGuest UserWonderful hotel! Perfect location as easily accessible to the subway (literally 2 minute walk). Very comfortable and stylish rooms. Great shampoo/conditioner/ body wash! Very glad we chose to stay at the Ace Hotel! Thank you.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, about a ten-minute walk from Times Square. The area feels relatively safe during the day, and the surrounding streets are lined with various restaurants, making dining very convenient. However, the room facilities are quite basic, perhaps a notch below what you'd expect from a similar-class hotel in China. The breakfast, consisting mainly of bread and pastries, isn't particularly elaborate. This hotel is probably best suited for business travelers or tourists.
KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!
MMs. ShaniquaOmgosh ... hotel was really nice! Breakfast was excellent and it lasted til 11a, which is pretty awesome for those that like to sleep late. So many options (hot, cold and dry). They offer bacon, sausage, scrambled/cold boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Whole fruit (apples and bananas), sliced fruit (melons and pineapples). Cold and hot cereal (oatmeal). Yogurt and granola. You can make your own waffles or pancakes (such a cool machine). Make your own toast and/or select from many pastries or muffins available. So many options! You can even place an order vs. eating from the buffet. They also allow carry-out and to-go boxes. Drink options at the buffet include: coffee, O.J. and apple juice.
PLEASE NOTE:
There's a separate fee for breakfast if not selected when booking.
Having said this, the hotel does not have microwaves in the room, just a fridge. There are microwaves located on each floor though (along w/ vending machines -both are in same location). Our room was spotless and absolutely spacious (no deviation from website)!
We arrived way beyond check-in and did call once we knew we'd arrive later than expected. Spoke with front desk staff who assured everything would be OK, only to arrive and find that our room (which was already paid in full) had been given away. The hotel was only able to provide us a King and a rollaway bed. Of course we were disappointed, but the next morning the hotel Mgr. made everything right. Having said that, the rollaway bed is THE HARDEST THING EVER. We bring our own everything (e.g. bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.) so we were able to make it work and make it comfortable. So much so, we'd chosen to not to be moved to the room we'd originally booked. It rained our entire stay which is what caused us to arrive late in the first place (that's a whole 'notha story). Anyway, the hotel had a few small trash bins about the lobby catching leaks here and there, but that didn't stop anything. I barely even noticed. Had I not been recording how beautiful the hotel was inside, I would've never noticed. Parking is $30/day, it's NYC what do you expect? 🤭 There's also parking on the street if you can get spot. Careful though, NYC parking signs can cause confusion for those not familiar with the City's play on words. All in all, this was great stay for us and I'd certainly stay again. Oh, I forgot to mention -I did! Yes, I extended our stay another night because the hotel and location was exceptional!
p.s. they also offer a seated bar area.
Overall: 10/10✨️
GGuest UserThis is a great hotel. While the facilities aren't top-notch, they absolutely meet the standards of a four-star establishment. If you're looking for an affordable star-rated hotel with well-maintained facilities, this is definitely your best bet. I only paid a little over 900 RMB per night when I booked.
GGuest UserBeing near Soho made it a great place for market research. The hotel smelled great, was clean, and had a great customer experience. And most of all, the free wellness classes held every morning were fantastic. I'd love to visit again.
KKyle TanIt was seamless, from check-in to check-out. I was able to request for late check-out. Upon check-out I left my luggage so I could still roam around. Got my luggage back safe. Breakfast is okay. Not grand. But I was able to eat everything. I normally couldn’t eat breakfast from cheap priced bookings cause it’s normally bad, but here, I was able to make use of it.
DDeclan ConnellAwesome location, hotel is nice with nice lobby, nice reception staff and nice bar at the back; but there just seemed to be missing things for a 4 star hotel for example;
No lobby control - we had our stay line up with schools and students just stood all in the lobby blocking doors and exits and basically ran around with instruments forcing themselves into lifts with friends already in line- think we got stuck a few times with 15 minute waits. You’d think there’d be staff directing these kids to slow down or have better control in a 4 star hotel.
Amenities - the room didn’t have a fridge, the tv kept turning off, I called maintenance as the hair dry didn’t work and no one came up to replace as promised.
Safety - lastly had basically a druggie threaten us with a knife/box cutter as soon as we walked out the hotel and the bag/door men just watched - so yes it’s a “nice” hotel but they really need to do some minor changes to keep that 4 star service and not just the look of it.
GGuest UserThe location is absolutely fantastic, just perfect!!! It's a 1-minute walk to Grand Central Station and the subway, about a 3-minute walk to Summit One Vanderbilt, around an 8-minute walk to the Public Library, within a 10-15 minute walk to the UN, and about a 15-minute walk to the Empire State Building. Times Square is also within a 15-20 minute walk. All other tourist attractions are easily accessible via the subway at Grand Central. The hotel's price is incredibly, incredibly reasonable, and the location offers amazing value for money!!! The room itself is also spacious!!! Overall, the experience was superb, highly recommended!!!
GGuest UserThe price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.
