"My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I booked my stay around three weeks in advance, yet when I arrived after a long journey, the receptionist could not find my reservation and initially suggested moving me to a different room the following day, which caused unnecessary stress. The room I was eventually given was on level -2 (basement). It had almost no natural light, only a tiny window facing the corridor and another window that could not be opened. The room had a terrible smell from the moment I arrived, and I had to ask for an air freshener, which I kept using throughout my stay. On one occasion, I also returned to find the room smelling strongly of cigarette smoke. The hairdryer and the safe were both broken, and the room showed signs of dampness, making it feel unsuitable for guests. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor and kept disconnecting. When I reported this to reception, instead of apologizing, I was told that the internet was working perfectly, which made me feel that my concerns were simply dismissed. The attached photos show the cluttered and untidy area outside my room, which was the first thing I saw every time I left or returned to my room."

"Добрый день. Гостиницу специально бронировали, чтоб пешком сходить по мечетям Айя София и Голубая мечеть. Вежливо встретил менеджер Лукпан, чистая комната, постельное белье, минибар. Утром завтрак на любой вкус, шведский стол. Вай фай. Удобное месторасположение. Моющие средства и тд. Чистые полотенца. Ночью прогулялись по набережной пролива Босфор, прошлись возле мечетей. Утром в светлое время далеко не стали ходить, опять там же прогулялись. Бронировали гостиницу Обелиск. Район Султанахмет. Рекомендую 100%!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near several Istanbul attractions, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. It's about a 5 to 10-minute walk to the T1 tram station. The bathroom was a bit cramped, and the showerhead was leaking. However, the hotel staff were very friendly."

"Although the hotel is a bit old and the room isn't huge, the bed is very comfortable. The pillows come in two different heights, so you can choose the one that suits you best. The daily delivery of a 1.5L bottle of purified water is a thoughtful touch (as the hotel's tap water isn't recommended for heating and drinking). The water pressure for the shower is excellent. The essential oil massage on B1 is quite good. And a big shout-out to the amazing views from the restaurant on the R floor! Overall, I'm happy with the value for money."

"Overall, a good hotel. The receptionist upgraded our room, and we had a comfortable stay. Excellent! Thank you. The hotel is clean, and breakfast is decent – don't expect luxury for 400 rubles (about $4). Scrambled eggs, vegetables, and coffee. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed it. The hotel is well-located, though it's in a dip, but then again, all of Istanbul is like that."

"Great value for money! It's surrounded by all the famous attractions, and you can walk to them in about 20 minutes. If you're coming, definitely stay for a few days. We're here for three weeks this time. The breakfast selection is fantastic – you can have Chinese-style dishes or eat your fill of bread. Taxis are easy to catch, and the beach is just a few dozen meters away. You can walk all the way to the pier from there. The cats are adorable! I'll definitely stay here again next time. Thank you! The owners were wonderful. They allowed us an early check-in for our first morning and even gave us complimentary breakfast (which we sadly missed on our last day due to a flight). Their service is absolutely amazing! Housekeeping was very prompt, and the cleaning lady was very friendly. They are very friendly towards Chinese guests, which is a big plus. It's so much fun to feed the seagulls and other birds while having breakfast on the rooftop."

"Great location. The room was clean with new furnishings and a spotless bathroom. The bed linen was also clean. For three of us, they gave us a spacious room on the 3rd floor with three full-sized beds. At reception, water, tea, and hot water are available 24/7. The hotel is situated in a narrow alley behind the mosque's fence, and there is a sign. The reviews about the steep inclines and declines on the way to the hotel are accurate."

"Хорошее место, немного трудно найти, но это Стамбул)) быстро заселились, были гели и шампуни, кондиционер работал и это не могло не радовать. Единственное дороговато кушать при отеле. Рядом магазины, но цены кусаются. Если пройти подальше можно найти сетевые. Рядом мечеть , вечером вид отличный! Так и не нашли аптеку в этом районе!"
