Hotels near Wat Pan Tao, Chiang Mai

This hotel was recommended by a friend. The room was clean, tidied daily, and well-stocked with amenities. It's within walking distance to a night market, 7-Eleven, restaurants, and more. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There's a scooter rental place right across the street, so we rented one every day to cruise around the Old City and Nimman Road. We even had enough time to go up to the mountains, which was absolutely delightful!

The room was very clean, and the bedding and towels felt brand new. The shower had great water pressure. We could ask housekeeping to tidy up the room whenever needed. The pool was clean, and there were even pigeons joining us for breakfast, which absolutely delighted the kids! The hotel's location isn't far from the Old City; a tuk-tuk ride costs just a few dozen baht, or you can even walk if you enjoy strolling. It's a peaceful spot despite being close to the action. We were very satisfied! You also get a free airport transfer if you stay for 5 consecutive nights.

This hotel is tucked away in an alley, giving it a very authentic local vibe. The cleanliness isn't top-notch, and the facilities are quite old; there's no TV, and even if there were, I wouldn't understand it anyway. The room is spacious enough for a family of four, and the price is indeed cheap. It even has a pool, and you can eat in the lobby, so there's always food available if you're hungry and don't want to leave the hotel. Wat Chiang Man is right next door, and rooms on the second floor and up that face the temple offer a direct view of it – I was lucky enough that our family room did. Downsides: the low price comes with reasons. Housekeeping isn't always prompt, there are no complimentary tea or coffee sachets like in typical hotels, and no kettle, which makes instant noodles inconvenient. Toiletries are limited to just soap and shampoo. Also, no slippers.

For Thai beds it was pretty comfy- I stayed for five nights and slept well. When I was out, they left toilet paper and water by my door. Staff very friendly, especially the night clerk gentleman. Great location. Quiet. I loved the entry- the chairs next to the koi pond under the trees was so peaceful! I’d sit with a cup of their coffee and cookies and relax. The pool was kept clean, and had an outdoor shower and towels. Bathroom drains were stinky, so I’d block the shower with a bag and put a cup over the sink- that mostly fixed it. The shower wouldn’t get hot at full blast, but if you turned the pressure down to half it would.

the bed is very thai hard... I woke up with hip pain most days and I don't normally have this issue. you also have to put the sign on the door if you want it cleaned but often the sign blows off so be careful. the room is clean and well lit

99 the gallery is on the side road of it’s main chain the Hertiage hotel. really nice and clean, staff are amazing very helpful and kind. Rooms are clean and very spacious privacy outdoor bathroom with shower and tub. rooms are equipped with tv, wardrobes, kettle, fridge, safety deposit, toiletries. Breakfast are great loved the egg sandwich. Hotel has a small pool with couple of beds on the side. Shops are footsteps away, night market is an under 10mins taxi ride moped quicker. Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel!

When I first arrived, the room looked quite nice, but the water quality in the pool to the left of the Bitcoin didn't seem all that great. The room I was initially assigned to had extremely low water pressure in the bathroom and no shower head. I ended up moving to a different room due to the low water pressure, and the room I moved to was not much different. There was a shower head gauge, but the water pressure was still low, and the towel rail was broken and unusable. As a smoker, I was assigned to the second floor, so I wished there was a place to smoke near the second floor. However, I had to go outside the hotel lobby to smoke. After 10 PM, all lights in the guest room hallways and on the first floor were turned off, so I had to rely on grab bars outside and the light of the full moon. It was terrifying. Please keep in mind that the room may not look as good as it does in the photos. While the staff's service wasn't bad, it wasn't very satisfactory. If you're staying for multiple nights, be sure to ask them to clean the room outside the door. And when going out, I had to turn off the air conditioning while the room key and power were still connected, so I had to step outside even for a moment. When I came back, I had to turn the lights back on and the air conditioning back on, which was a hassle.

A beautiful hotel right in the old town. You can even spot adorable little squirrels in the morning. It's very clean and comfortable, and you get four complimentary drinks every day! The surrounding shops are also charming and interesting. It made for a very relaxing trip. I'll definitely be back!

Facilities: Average. There are no seats in the common areas of the restrooms, making it inconvenient to do things like applying makeup. Hair dryers need to be obtained from the front desk. Cleanliness: The all-female dormitory is quite clean, and the toilets are relatively clean. The tables in the common areas on the first floor are messy, but there is free drinking water and biscuits. Environment: Average. The Saturday market and Chiang Mai Gate market are right outside the door, and there is a night market a few hundred meters away. Service: There was a small issue. When booking the room, it showed ”breakfast included,” and I even consulted Ctrip customer service beforehand. However, when I arrived at the hostel, I was told that breakfast was not provided. I hope this can be improved to avoid misunderstandings.
