"Love the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Staff are great at their prompt service with friendly manners. The breakfast is excellent compared to the same level of hotel. The rooftop bar is cozy and good for small group sipping. The most important for me is the room., great space & cozying with super convenient. The lobby is also serve snack & drinks at all time. The location is perfect for those who love street shopping, near One Nimman mall & MAYA."

"Overall, this hotel was okay, but there were a few disappointing aspects. The location is good and convenient for getting around. The rooftop bar is decent and the pool area is nice enough, although I was surprised to find that you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to the rooftop pool or you’ll be fined. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar and restaurant don’t open until 3:00 p.m., which makes this rule even more frustrating. The hotel also didn’t feel particularly clean, and it certainly doesn’t have the feel of a newly opened property. One of my biggest frustrations was trying to get an iron. I asked for one nearly every day during my stay, but the staff were never able to locate one. Finally, be careful if you use the coffee machine. It shakes quite abruptly while dispensing coffee, which caused my cup to fall out and smash. It would be good if the hotel addressed this for future guests. Overall, the location is the main highlight, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve."

"The location truly can't be beaten. It's right across the street from Maya Mall, next to Think Park, and just a short walk to Nimman Road. Shopping for souvenirs, dining, and getting a massage are all conveniently accessible downstairs. It's only about a fifteen-minute taxi ride to the Old City, making it a very hassle-free choice for family trips or friends traveling together. The hotel features a modern, minimalist design and isn't too tall. Rooms on higher floors with floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views, including Doi Suthep mountain, and some room types come with balconies. There's a wide variety of room options, from standard guest rooms and large suites to duplex lofts, suitable for groups. Some suites even have a small kitchen, making them convenient for longer stays. The semi-open swimming pool is very comfortable, with shade to protect from the strong sun. Alongside it, there's a gym and sauna, perfect for relaxing in your free time. Breakfast offers a rich variety of both Thai and Western dishes and is served until 11 am, so even late risers can enjoy it. Some dishes rotate daily. The front desk staff speaks a little Chinese and is very friendly and helpful, assisting with arranging private cars or taxis, with quick response times. Now for some objective downsides: Lower floor rooms facing the street can experience road noise, and occasionally you might hear planes taking off and landing. If you're a light sleeper, it's advisable to book a mountain-view room on the 6th floor or higher. Lower floor rooms might feel a bit damp during the plum rain season. There's a routine room check during check-out, which might add a few minutes to your wait. ✨Tip: Prioritize higher floors for better views, and to mitigate dampness and noise. Maya, 7-Eleven, and Big C are just across the road, making it super convenient for stocking up on supplies. Overall, this is a highly cost-effective four-star hotel in the Nimman area. It's highly recommended for those who value shopping convenience and need spacious suites; however, if extreme quietness is a priority, carefully consider booking a lower-floor room facing the street."

"The facilities at the Holiday Garden Hotel Resort are absolutely Fabulous. Stunning architecture make for a premium experience during my stay. What’s best is the garden poolside deck. The atmosphere is open and fresh. I enjoy sitting by the pool after having breakfast. It’s elegant. The room is comfortable. It’s very clean which is reassuring, since the staff are caring for their guests. I would recommend this garden resort to international travelers who prefer green spaces and elegant design. The breakfast buffet has fresh fruits and coconut-rice pancakes. It’s all so tasty. There is also the Lush café in the garden. The strawberry soda is my favorite. 😍 🍓 I would stay again. Chiang Mai is a lovely city."

The room facilities are well-maintained and feature charming local characteristics, which I personally loved. Special mention goes to the bedding – it was incredibly clean and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is located inside the ancient city, is street-facing, and the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great. Those who require a very quiet sleeping environment might want to consider this carefully. Also, the hotel offers a souvenir for leaving a review, but this promotion is only for Google Maps and doesn't include platforms like Ctrip, which is a bit disappointing."

"Overall, very good! The soundproofing in the room is excellent; even though it's in an entertainment district, the music doesn't filter in. The bed is soft, and the room is spacious and clean. My only minor gripes are that the bedroom curtains should be thicker to block out more light in the morning, as the sunlight woke me up. Also, the breakfast could offer more variety for the price. I'd give it an 8/10."

"The room was a bit old but very spacious and clean, and it had a balcony, which made for a comfortable stay. The location was also very convenient, with Maya Mall within walking distance. It was great value for money. There's a pool on the top floor; it's not huge but perfectly fine for a dip. You can hear planes overhead, but it's not too loud and less frequent in the latter half of the night, so it was acceptable. I wanted to extend my stay but unfortunately, all rooms were booked, so I had to switch hotels."

"Booked the Sere White Double Room, and overall, we had a great stay. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a mountain view—although the view was only partially visible because of the surrounding buildings 😅 The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast in the morning was also really good, with a nice variety of options. The location is another plus, as it’s conveniently close to the Nimman area. Overall, a comfortable stay and a good option if you want to stay near Nimman! Forgot to take pictures of room 🥲"

"Before coming to Chiang Mai, I looked at a lot of hotels and finally chose Sanae, and I'm really happy with my decision. The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location. Even though it's down an alley, there are several massage parlors right across from the hotel, and just a short walk out of the alley brings you to two 7-Elevens, which is super convenient for grabbing anything you need. It's also very close to One Nimman and Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center, so it's lively at night, and as a woman, I didn't worry about coming back late. The popular cafe, Lot of Taste, is right next door and serves delicious coffee – a must-try for coffee lovers. The hotel rooms are spacious, suite-style with a separate living room and a balcony. If you're worried about the bedroom air conditioning blowing directly on the bed, just using the living room AC is enough to keep the whole place cool. Breakfast is à la carte, and the taste is decent. It's served from 7 AM all the way until noon. I booked for five nights, and the room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The staff were always very friendly and enthusiastic. However, perhaps because the hotel has been open for a while, it's not brand new, so the interior furnishings can look a bit dated. Don't expect smart home features like you'd find in hotels back home. The issue of airplane noise mentioned online is true, but hotels in the Nimman area are generally under the flight path, so this is a common issue. Plus, planes aren't constantly flying overhead, so for me personally, it was fine. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next visit."
