Hotels near BTS-Phaya Thai, Bangkok

Hands down best hotel for an extended stay or budget nice stay that almost feels 4 stars. Gorgeously central to everything. Roof pool area could improve the ability to enjoy the view with dividers blocking excellent scenery that has much potential. Food is great with affordable and fancy options. Wide variety of non alcoholic drinks, smoothies and coffees and all the usual beers. The oil massage service right there was better than the one i had at an upperclassy masseuse. The staff made me feel like family. Look for Took and Dee in MBK center not too far away for the best long lasting quality niche Thailand shirts and elephant pants that are better than the thin crappy ones at touristy spots. They offer a shuttle service to the BTS station, so you don't have to wake up super early. You can just finish breakfast and then ask the reception to book the shuttle – the timing is perfect! Though, to be fair, it's not a super long walk either. The breakfast is pretty good too; you choose a main dish and then it's a semi-buffet. And the staff even speak a bit of Chinese! That's impressive! You can ask reception for a toothbrush, but you have to ask every day, haha... Oh, but the mirror facing the bed is a bit... well. It's not too far from Lumpini Park either, which is great! However, it's a bit of a walk from the airport rail link station.

The hotel is conveniently located near the BTS, and the service is excellent – warm and polite. The single room is quite small, a bit like a Japanese hotel room, but for the price, it's not really an issue. Just be aware that it has a small single bed, so it's only suitable for one person.

My wife and I stayed two nights on our last trip when we were leaving Thailand, the location was great not very busy and close to the metro, within walking distance to many hotels and restaurants, the room was big enough for the two of us, the beds were comfortable and we both had two pillows which we liked, the gym was well equipped for my exercise routine and after I swam so it was perfect, we opted for the breakfast and we did not regret it there was a wide variety Chinese, European, Halal, Indian and Vegetarian options too, I would stay here again when I visit Bangkok again because the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Location is quite good, there is a local street market just foot steps away from hotel and you can get really good dishes all within 15 minutes, but it closes around 8 p.m. You can easily hire a grab bike nearby, to get to the other spots in town. Many complained that the showering room was too tiny and could barely move but I felt it was fine, I am 5 inch 10 feet and weigh 170 lbs for reference. The room and the hallways have lots of design that I feel the vibe for hotels in Southern Europe, a good plus. Pity that there's no indoor gym or pool but a bit of search could find a match nearby.

excellent location is a given for this property right on ARL and BTS Phaya Thai. the connecting deluxe twin rooms we booked were spacious and well appointed. i love the scents of the lobby and the shower gel and handsoap they use, which ties the whole experience together. the breakfast buffet was also good as they change up the menu daily, unlike most hotels where its the same spread everyday. the only letdown was when a dish runs out during breakfast, they will replace it with something else instead.

I wanted a convenient place to stay and decided on this since they claimed to be next to the train station. It was absolutely true as it was just next to the train track, and was optimal convenience for transport to the airport as it was situated right next to the Airport Rail Link (ARL) at Phaya Thai. Lobby area was super cute! Room was spacious and was impressive at first look. There was a huge Let's Relax next to the ARL and I tried it out on my last night. There's also a bus stop near the main road but the frequency of their buses were erratic at most locations. Also, somehow that stretch of road had traffic jams most of the time. Hotel is more of a boutique hotel than 4-star hotel, but most basic amenities were provided and they even offered a can of complimentary coke and sprite in the fridge on the first day. 2 little packets of snacks were also provided by daily housekeeping. Hotel had a front and back door but both alleys were a little dark at night, although there were some eateries along the alleys. There was a 7-11 near the main road and another just a bus stop away. I had issues with the air-conditioning as despite adjusting to low temperature, it didn't quite reach the bed area although some parts of the room were freezing. Contrary to other reviews, as a light sleeper, the sound of the trains didn't really reach my room but I was repeatedly annoyed by the sound of the fridge machinery/exhaust and it affected my sleep quality so much. Generally a good stay as I intentionally picked a room with a bathtub. Would have been better if they provided complimentary bath soaking items like bath salt or bath bombs.

I frequently stayed at Asia Hotel and it has been 4 times within 10 months. Location is excellent and directly connected to Ratchathewi BTS. 7/11 is just downstairs. Easily accessible to local food vendors and Thai massage. The hotel rooms are a bit old, but you can still manage to stay here unless you are allergic to these flaws. Staffs are very friendly and willing to help especially security guards and housekeepers. But, I found out that some receptionists are kind of rude and very straightforward. They need to be well trained to improve their services I guess. Photo is the view from my room.

My flight was in the early hours, so I just randomly booked a hotel near the Siam shopping area. To my surprise, it was incredible value for money! It had a balcony, a full kitchen with pots, pans, a microwave, and a large fridge. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit for only 420 (currency not specified). The hotel is within walking distance of several Siam malls, making shopping and dining super convenient. Downstairs, there's a 7-Eleven and massage shops everywhere. The cleanliness was fine, though the facilities were a bit old, but well-maintained. There were only two elevators, so wait times could be long. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, making communication seamless. On the 8th floor, there's complimentary drinks, fruit, and desserts available all day. If you're on a budget but want to be close to the shopping district, and prefer a lively and convenient neighborhood, this place is a must-try!

This was a hotel inside a restaurant called Pasta AMA. Hotel above the restaurant. In and out have to passed through restaurant. It’s difficult for elderly as you need to climb for stairs and without lift for boarding guests. My parents and old relative had to climb for 4 floors daily. But for young boarders should be no issues. Service for the staffs are good and friendly. Food in the restaurant good too. The most important that they accept Alipay
