Staying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience! I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :) After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea! If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️

Such a lovely, unforgettable experience of staying in a traditional hanok pension. Owners are kind and mainly Korean-speaking locals. They may not be there during check in, so remember the room name in your booking for easy identification, or inform them of your exact arrival time to ensure a smooth process. Our room was cosy but had a comfortable double bed, TV, cold water in fridge, Korean bath towels and clothes hooks. (Hot water kettle and mugs can be found in the mini lounge hut near the gate.) The spacious and separated bathroom was rare, and the ondol floor was such a warm treat in winter. We were even given freshly made tteok and honey as breakfast treats. Good value in the heart of Jeonju, within minutes walk of everything. Thank you for the hospitality! We had a healing stay.

The guesthouse is right in Hanok Village, so all the popular spots are nearby. The room was super clean and tidy, even came with a Dyson hairdryer and a projector. The underfloor heating was fantastic! The bathroom wasn't just clean, it was spacious with a great wet/dry separation, and they even provided toothbrushes. The host was incredibly friendly and even gave us some PNB Hanok Village chocolate pies as a souvenir when we left. We had such a lovely time staying here! Thanks for everything!

We really loved our hotel room — it was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, both in the room and throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The location is great as well: very close to the Ajung lake and in a quiet, peaceful area. The breakfast was excellent, perfect for starting an active day. Highly recommended!

First time in Jeonju, and our family's first hanok experience! We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the host was super kind and let us check in early. Plus, there was underfloor heating, which made for a really great experience.

I arrived around 4:15 PM on Monday and checked in right away. It's conveniently located near Jeolla Gamyeong, Gaekridan-gil, and Pungpaejigwan, and I found it to be a clean and well-maintained place. The interior of the room had a charming, old-fashioned feel, which made it feel cozy and comfortable. I imagine foreign tourists would particularly enjoy it. They gave me a Jeonju tourist map when I checked in, which was incredibly helpful during my trip. There's a very spacious cafe on the first floor that was also operating. I appreciated that they told me I didn't need to order anything and could use it comfortably like a lounge. After checking out, I went into the cafe and planned the rest of my trip while having a coffee. Since I was a guest, I received a 20% discount, paying 3,200 won for an Americano. The coffee taste was, in my opinion, pretty standard. I'd recommend this place as a clean and good value-for-money accommodation for anyone traveling to Jeonju. **They provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, multi-use liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with shower towels. There are no large bath towels, only standard-sized towels.**

It was truly wonderful! My husband and I booked this place because we wanted to explore Jeonju Hanok Village, and it couldn't have been better. The owner was so kind, and breakfast was included at an affordable price. It was also really fun to prepare our own breakfast. It was also very close to the Hanok Village, which was great. Hotel that was difficult to find for a trip with my daughter on the Sakyamuni holiday From foam cleaning in the lobby, there are all the little things that travelers have forgotten and not taken. The refrigerator has a snack with drinks and milk and coffee In the morning, you can bake your own morning bread. It is spacious and comfortable if you don't want the tidyness of 5 star hotel class The location is right in front of the city hall. It takes a little over 10 minutes to walk to Hanok Village, but all the way to and from are attractions, so it's worth walking around. There are restaurants nearby from Hyundai Ok ~ Anyway, my daughter and I were very satisfied with 2 nights and 3 days!
