"A smart boutique hotel with great location. Walking distance to the shopping district and Hanok Village. Lots of shops and convenience stores nearby too. 10/15 minutes from the train station and costs only KRW8,000 The hotel is new and smart/stylish. Not much facilities but comfortable and welcoming. Perfect as a base to explore beautiful and laid back Jeonju Rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. I had booked the standard room that didn’t have much of a view. When Tom Kim, the front desk manger overheard that I would be staying for 3 nights and wished for a view, he immediately asked his lovely colleague (Jinny Kim) who was checking me in to upgrade me to a room with higher floor and view. It was also slightly bigger I think. Both of them showed such warmth and kindness. This made my holiday so much more comfortable and happy. I will come back for sure and book the deluxe room for sure. The walls of the rooms are quite thin tho so I could hear my next door guests and one night has a crying kid at 4am 🥲"

"I arrived around 4:15 PM on Monday and checked in right away. It's conveniently located near Jeolla Gamyeong, Gaekridan-gil, and Pungpaejigwan, and I found it to be a clean and well-maintained place. The interior of the room had a charming, old-fashioned feel, which made it feel cozy and comfortable. I imagine foreign tourists would particularly enjoy it. They gave me a Jeonju tourist map when I checked in, which was incredibly helpful during my trip. There's a very spacious cafe on the first floor that was also operating. I appreciated that they told me I didn't need to order anything and could use it comfortably like a lounge. After checking out, I went into the cafe and planned the rest of my trip while having a coffee. Since I was a guest, I received a 20% discount, paying 3,200 won for an Americano. The coffee taste was, in my opinion, pretty standard. I'd recommend this place as a clean and good value-for-money accommodation for anyone traveling to Jeonju. **They provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, multi-use liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with shower towels. There are no large bath towels, only standard-sized towels.**"

"The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the city center, but it's definitely within walking distance. Plus, the surrounding area seems to be a nightlife district, so I think it's a good location for those who enjoy that kind of scene. The room was sufficiently spacious, well-cleaned, and tidy, and the underfloor heating worked perfectly (it was almost too warm, actually). While the room's toilet doesn't have a bidet, the communal toilet on the first floor does. There's only one elevator, so I imagine it could get crowded if there are a lot of guests."

"Stayed during winter. Place has all the modern amenities needed (coffee, water, floor heating, hot water/ proper pressure/ toiletries for shower, etc) while maintaining the quaint charm of a hanok. Owner/ staff were very friendly and helpful. It made the experience in Jeoju very welcoming. Limited (maybe a bjt more) English but good enough to communicate for check in, house rules and any questions we have on the area! Location wise, it is walking distance to hanok village, easy for taxis to stop assuming youre booking one to and from the bus terminal with your luggage. Love it so much. Will definitely book again if I visit Jeonju."

"Everything was good compared to the its price. The only thing I wanna mention is breakfast. The hotel offers breakfast option for 15,000KRW. But the quality or the selection of menu were not appropriate for the price. There was only very limited foods option poached egg, scrambled egg, steamed dumplings, sausages, bacon, steamed rice, korean seaweed soup, 5 Korean side dishes(like as kimchi), only white toast, dinner bread, croissants, x3 different juices and milk. You may be disappointed with this. Otherwise everything satisfied my needs I have willing to stay again. This stat changed my perception of IBIS hotel chain. I"

"For the price, this hotel is perfect and I honestly don’t know how they are even making a profit. The rooms were clean and spacious enough to fit 3 people. I liked that there was a sink and a sofa near the windows. Its going to be a drive several blocks down to the hanok village but taxi fares are very cheap compared to the US. Expect maybe like 6000 krw to the hanok village from the hotel. The restaurant (현대옥) across the hotel serves jeonju bean sprouts soup and that is really really good. All in all, this is no ritz carlton but its 1/20 price and it really is much much much better than the low cost hotels u would expect in the US."

"Exceptional Experience at Iga Hanok I was deeply impressed by the authentic beauty and cleanliness of this Hanok stay. It perfectly balances a traditional vibe with modern convenience. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and gave great local tips. The room was very comfortable, especially the Ondol heating system. Great location—close to major attractions but still very quiet and peaceful. A perfect stay overall"

"This is a truly wonderful place to stay. The friendly staff, excellent service, and clean rooms are all top-notch. The location is also excellent. It's within walking distance of the Nambu Market Hanok Village, which is a great feature. If you're traveling to Jeonju, I highly recommend Sihwa Yeonpung."

"The place is relatively clean although there are mosquitoes inside the room so you gotta spray the mosquito spray so that it wont bite you when u sleep xD Location wise is pretty good in a sense that it is near attractions, church, and the hanok village. Its just that at night its pretty dark so if youre a girl alone, best not to stay up until late. The reception was really nice and friendly, he made me feel welcomed! Amenities are also not bad, all the necessities are covered and the soap smells vv nice xD (pls dont mind the bed in the second picture… haha thats when i left but it was rly neat when i went.)"
