"Location: This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the bustling Myeongdong area, surrounded by popular dinner and late-night supper spots frequented by locals. You'll find 7-Eleven, GS25, and CU convenience stores nearby, along with famous restaurants like Kyochon Chicken and BBQ Chicken. The iconic Cheonggyecheon Stream, with its 'Seoul My Soul' landmark, is just a short walk: head out of the alley towards 7-Eleven, cross a small road, and take Exit 5 down. The closest subway station is Jonggak Station (Line 1) in front of Starbucks. Conveniently, the 6002 bus to Incheon Airport stops right across the street from Starbucks. You can also take Line 1 one stop to Seoul Station for the Airport Express. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the front desk, register your details for an early check-in, and go explore. They'll move your luggage to your allocated room when it's ready. Convenient Access: Myeongdong, Shinsegae Duty-Free, and Lotte Duty-Free are all within walking distance, or a short bus ride away if you prefer not to walk. To reach Myeongdong, you'll need to transfer from Line 1 to Line 4. For other attractions like Hongdae, Mangwon Market, and Seongsu-dong, you'll also need to transfer from Line 1 to other lines. I recommend purchasing a T-money card at a convenience store in Incheon Airport's Exit F. Minor Hiccup: Due to cultural differences, we assumed that not hanging a 'Do Not Disturb' sign would automatically imply service. However, it's a double-sided sign where you need to hang either 'Please Make Up Room' or 'Do Not Disturb' on your door. The room itself is a bit small, and the trash can is tiny. There are large recycling bins in the middle of each floor; if you're unsure about sorting, you can just dispose of all your trash there. Don't be like us and leave trash bags piled up outside your door because you didn't know the cleaning rules. Soundproofing: Despite the lively surroundings, the soundproofing is excellent. Personal Suggestions: We stayed in room 02, which was the smallest on the floor. We checked in early at 8 AM and went out to explore. When we returned at 3:15 PM to confirm our check-in, the front desk was bustling with luggage and people. The staff told us our luggage had already been placed in our room. Upon seeing the fire escape map, we realized we had been given the smallest room, which honestly made us a bit unhappy. We suggest that the smallest rooms should be reserved for guests checking in later in the day, as it's a bit disappointing to arrive early and be assigned the most cramped space. Additionally, there was a slight odor from the shower drain, and the bathroom's ventilation system didn't seem very effective, making it feel a bit stuffy during showers. Staff Commendation: The staff were incredibly nice and gentle, and some even spoke a little Chinese. English or translation apps were also viable communication options. We saw them diligently patrolling and spraying for insects daily. After check-out, I accidentally left my phone in the room, and they were very helpful in assisting me. Many thanks! 🙏"

"The hotel is a great option for travelers looking for an affordable place to stay without sacrificing convenience. While the room was on the smaller side, it was sufficient for two people. One unique aspect of the layout is that the sink is positioned outside the shower and toilet area, located near the bed—which may feel a bit unusual at first but is manageable. Here are some key points from our stay: PROS: • The location is excellent—close to subway and bus stations, restaurants, and shopping areas. It’s right in the heart of everything. • The reception staff were very accommodating, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. • The hotel lobby had a consistently pleasant and welcoming scent, which added to the overall experience. CONS: • There is no proper cabinet for clothes—only a few hangers and limited space to store belongings. • Reception is not available 24/7. However, clear instructions are provided in case assistance is needed outside operating hours. Staff are available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. • The air conditioning system is centralized. This means you cannot individually control cooling if the building is set to heating mode. Opening the window/door is an option, but it can get quite noisy due to the hotel’s busy location. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommendable, especially for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location. "The location is excellen with several train stations nearby, making it very convenient! I would consider staying here again on my next trip! The only thing that bothered me was that a sewage smell started filling the bathroom from the second night of my stay... The cups provided in the room are paper cups so guests who prefer regular cups may want to bring their own. It was also very convenient that I could store my suitcase in a locker inside the hotel even after checking out!"

"Here's a breakdown of my stay, highlighting the pros and cons: **The Good:** * There's a lounge on each floor (or so it seemed) offering complimentary coffee and instant ramen. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine, detergent, and fabric softener, are also available for free use. I didn't personally use them, nor did I see anyone else using them. * The place was incredibly clean. Oddly enough, there were chairs in the hallway. * The location is fantastic! There are tons of restaurants nearby, so you'll never be short of dining options. It's also very close to the train station. * I had a late check-in planned, but the staff communicated with me beforehand via message, which put my mind at ease. After 9 PM, check-in is done via a kiosk. * I was able to request an extra room key. * The refrigerator is a good, family-sized one, and the freezer has plenty of space. * They even provide toothbrushes, which is a rare find these days! Bath towels are also included. You can freely replenish toilet paper and hand towels, and fresh bath towels can be obtained from the front desk. **The Not-So-Good:** * I could faintly hear karaoke sounds seeping through the walls, but it didn't bother me personally. * Because there's a PC center (or similar) and a karaoke establishment in the building, I sometimes had to wait for an elevator, as they were often full. * The shower drain had a slight odor. * While the shower and toilet are somewhat separated, they're very close together and the space is extremely cramped. Toilet paper, shampoo, and other items are placed directly above the toilet, so you have to be careful when showering to avoid soaking the toilet paper. There seem to be frequent complaints about the karaoke noise, and they appear to be taking measures to address it (I've included a photo at the end). Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again if the opportunity arises."

"Towels had holes and were rough. Bins were not lined not sure if clean. Linens were not changed daily when we stayed for 6 nights and there were marks on the pillowcase. Location was alright, near many cafes and bakeries and bbq. Convenience store right opposite. Mammoth Coffee across the road was cheap and good. Walkable to the subway. Service was responsive but not outstanding, befitting a 3 star hotel. Some staff were more friendly and helpful than others. there was a Front counter staff who seemed to suggest that we were expecting too much from a 3 star hotel. nevertheless they provided extra pillows and a change in mattress pad to a softer one on request which we appreciate. there was a plumbing issue that was quickly resolved. however although the aircon on 10th floor allows us to adjust the temperature, the aircon automatically turns off once the temperature is reached which led to us feeling hot and cold throughout the night (in april). there was a women’s hot bath (not just a foot bath as stated) but it was unsupervised so not sure how other travelers used it and i was not comfortable to go in totally bare so i just soaked my feet for a bit which was not bad."

"The soundproofing is excellent, I recommend getting a room not facing the street. The room is very small; if you have a large suitcase, it'll feel even smaller, barely enough space to stand. The cleanliness is decent, not much dust. Breakfast options are limited, but they do have boiled eggs, no hot side dishes but there's salad. The front desk staff speak good English and their attitude is okay. The best thing about this place is its location – Myeongdong and Hanok Village are both a 15-minute walk away, and it's in a quieter neighborhood. The biggest issue was that all the USB ports in my room were broken, so I couldn't fully charge my devices. It was too late that night to ask the front desk for an adapter."

"Pros: Small room that managed to have everything we needed in a nice location. Cons: The room was a bit stuffy and smelly which was fixed by using the A/C BUT the A/C was super loud, even with the fan setting on low which made it a little difficult at night."

"Hotel is in an extremely convenient location, but read carefully as they have some strange check in times. Communication is great in person but this app and its useless AI means they are near impossible to contact, even in an emergency or with any questions before your arrival. Beds are hard but plenty of pillows. Room are as described and have everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Staff in person are friendly and helpful. Multiple languages!"

"Very good location. You could easily walk to many sites and very close to street food stalls. Small room, well maintained. Coin laundry and drier in basement. The only reason why I don't give a 5 Star is the shower curtain reaches the basin. After showering, the floor in front of mirror is wet. Overall good value for money"

"The hotel is conveniently located close to Jonggak Station, making it super easy to get around and sightsee. It's only two stops from Seoul Station on Line 1, and getting to and from Incheon Airport was a breeze. Plus, with Jongno 3-ga and Dongdaemun nearby, it was great to be able to enjoy late-night dining and shopping before heading back to the hotel. But the absolute highlight was the incredible service from the male owner. He handled my luggage smoothly, chatted with me throughout my stay, and was just incredibly kind and warm. This is definitely a hotel I'd recommend for solo female travelers – I felt completely safe! The room was just as clean as in the photos, and I hardly heard any noise from other rooms, so it was wonderfully quiet. The rooftop on the 11th floor was also a lovely touch and became one of my favorite spots during my stay. I was completely satisfied with the location, cleanliness, and hospitality. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Seoul."
