"The hotel is conveniently located near Jonggak Station, perfectly situated between Myeongdong and Euljiro, with all major attractions, karaoke bars, shops, restaurants, and currency exchange offices close by. The room was small but sufficient. Be aware that rooms on the 6th floor might be noisy due to the karaoke downstairs; we were moved to the 7th floor on our second day. The hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, soap, disposable toothbrushes, towels, and slippers. There's also a TV. A common kitchen area offers free coffee and ramen, a water dispenser, and a washing machine. We booked an upgraded room with a view and were happy with it, though the view wasn't strictly necessary."

"Our flight was cancelled due to a typhoon, so it was a last-minute booking, but this hotel turned out to be the perfect choice! It's located at the entrance of a trendy area bustling with places like Mil Toast, and Jongno is within walking distance, so you'll have no trouble finding cafes and restaurants. There's even a 7-Eleven right in front. The room and bathroom are relatively compact, but the excellent location more than makes up for it. The shuttle bus to Incheon is about a 12-minute walk away! I highly recommend this hotel."

"This was the best hotel of my trip to Korea. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get around, and it was very clean and tidy. To the north are Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, and to the south are Cheonggyecheon Stream and Myeongdong. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Myeongdong, Hongdae, and Seongsu, with plenty of food options downstairs. Self-check-in was very convenient, and there's a washing machine and cooking area in the common space. The downsides are that there are many bars nearby, so solo female travelers should be extra careful at night. Also, the facility instructions are only in Korean and English; it would be much more user-friendly if Chinese signs were added."

"Excellent location! It's just a short walk from Jongno 3-ga subway station. There are tons of convenience stores nearby (GS25, CU, 7-Eleven, you name it!) and plenty of restaurants, including some great options for solo diners. You'll also find a lot of bars and cafes. The location is a little tucked away, which makes it surprisingly quiet. I arrived quite late, so I emailed them beforehand and received a very detailed and patient reply. If it weren't for all the K-pop fans lately making it hard to book consecutive nights, I would definitely have stayed longer. The transportation is super convenient, and there's Tapgol Park nearby for a stroll. It's also close to many other attractions. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Facilities: The common areas are well-equipped. The room has a mini-fridge, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, with slippers thoughtfully placed right at the entrance, and a floor mat. Service: They have local travel guides available for reference (I've included a picture of the guide). When I checked out, I met a very warm and polite Korean lady. I just love the vibe here! There's a restaurant on the street outside that serves amazing beef bone soup noodles, and a set meal with grilled meat. I forgot to take a picture of the name, but the auntie there speaks good English and provides fantastic service!"

"We totally made the right decision by booking this hotel. It's so accessible by train and bus. The airport bus stops 5min walk away from there and so is the train station, Jonggak. There is another train station the other way about 7min walk, Anguk station. The city bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel and there is a convenience store right outside the hotel entrance. It is also a few bus stops away from most attractions like Gyeongbokgung (Palace) and Bukchon, and in fact you can even walk if you want to. Only 2-3 stops away from most of the areas we wanted to visit. Super central location. The room and bathroom are clean, and bed is comfortable. Four of us stayed comfortably in a family room (2 single bed, 1 double bed), with space to open our luggage. 2 sinks in the bathroom was helpful too. The receptionist also allowed us to check in early because the room was ready early and it helped a lot. I booked a single room the night before, and was also upgraded to a double room. So grateful. Truly enjoyed my stay here. Thank you."

"It was a good hotel with a good old-fashioned atmosphere, close to the station! I was a little worried because foreigners received an email saying that they could not check in automatically, but the hotel person was a good person and I managed to check in while being taught. It was fun to make and eat ramen by machine! Ramen, water and coffee are free. The room was clean and relaxing. The toilet and the bath are together, so it was a little disappointing that the toilet became a bit of a blur when I took a bath. I thought I wish I had a wall."

"First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. In the end, I had a cup of instant noodles and a glass of grape juice."

"I had a wonderful stay at Sunbee Hotel in Seoul and would highly recommend it. First, the location is excellent. It’s about a 10-minute walk to many eateries and pochas (Korean street bars), making it very convenient for dining and exploring at night. There are convenience stores and a supermarket just 1 minute away, which is extremely handy. The hotel is also located near a police station, which made the area feel very safe. Second, the hotel is very well maintained. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Bathrobes, comfortable towels, and a full set of shower amenities were provided. The room has a double-door design that helps prevent noise, so it stays very quiet. The floor heating and air conditioning worked well, and the TV even comes with Netflix. Overall, the room felt very comfortable and well equipped. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. The lobby is clean and has a pleasant scent. There is also a small café area with free drinks for guests, and the hotel provides washer and dryer facilities in the basement, which is very convenient for longer stays. Overall, Sunbee Hotel offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again."

"I stayed at 3 different hotels during my 10-day trip to Korea, and this one absolutely deserves a great review. **Environment**: Quiet and safe. Compared to similarly priced hotels, the room here is genuinely much bigger. **Facilities**: Comprehensive. The washing machine was very convenient, and it even came with detergent. There's also a separate communal dining area. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, tidy, and no strange odors, nor any lingering renovation smell. **Service**: Exceptional. Calls are always answered, and if you don't know how to use something, someone will teach you. Everyone always has a smile on their face. For the same price point, or even a slightly higher one, I highly recommend choosing this hotel."
