Here's a recap of my stay at the Seoul Riviera Hotel. The address is 737 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Even though I booked two months in advance, I ended up booking during a price surge. I paid 4330 KRW for 4 nights, which was basically over 1000 KRW per night. Usually, it's around 500-600 KRW. This time, there were a lot of people in Seoul for concerts, which drove hotel prices up three or four times. The hotel I stayed at last time in Seoul also had its prices hiked by several hundred. Since there were three of us, I booked a standard room for three, with one double bed and one single bed. The room was relatively small, but it was quite clean, and the hotel staff were all very nice. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights, and it was very quiet, so the overall experience was good. Here's the transportation information: The airport bus 6006 goes directly to the hotel. You get off at the Riviera Hotel stop, which is right in front of the hotel entrance. You can enter the hotel directly, no need to walk even a minute, which is excellent. How to take the airport bus to Incheon Airport? The hotel front desk had two diagrams: one for the airport bus timetable directly to Incheon Airport, and another showing where to catch the bus. From the main hotel entrance, turn right and walk straight to the first crosswalk. Cross the street, and you'll see a Starbucks. The bus stop is right in front of Starbucks, about a 5-minute walk. The entire journey takes less than 2 hours. The nearest subway station is Cheongdam Station, about a 7-minute walk. Because the hotel is in Gangnam-gu, close to Apgujeong, we walked to Apgujeong. It took about 20-30 minutes, strolling and looking around. We took a public bus to Hannam-dong, which was also very convenient. The hotel also seemed to have a hot spring, but we didn't have time to go. There's also a particularly delicious 24-hour Korean restaurant near the hotel.

Best Western Premier Gangnam Hotel, Cheongdam-dong | A Stylish & Comfortable Choice in the Heart of Gangnam ✨ For my trip to Seoul, I chose the Best Western Premier in Cheongdam-dong, and it was a fantastic decision! The location is superb, the design is trendy, and the service is warm and friendly. Getting around Gangnam was incredibly easy. Highly recommend! 📍 Prime Location, Super Convenient Transport The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam. Right outside, there's an airport bus stop (Bus 6703) that takes you directly to Incheon/Gimpo Airport – super convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Apgujeong Station or Hak-dong Station, which are on lines 3 and 7, making it quick to get to Myeongdong, Hongdae, or Gangnam Station. The surrounding area is packed with trendy restaurants, fashion boutiques, and the famous Cheongdam-dong shopping street, so you can shop and dine all in one go. It's bustling yet surprisingly peaceful. ✨ Stylish Design, Excellent Quality The hotel boasts a brand-new, modern design. The lobby is bright and cool, full of artistic flair, with comfortable seating areas perfect for photos. The rooms are clean, odor-free, and well-lit, with a well-planned layout that feels spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer great city views, and the high-floor rooms have an amazing panorama. Standard amenities include smart bathroom fixtures, separate wet and dry areas, branded toiletries, complimentary bottled water, and even an espresso machine – every detail is thoughtfully provided. 🛏️ Comfortable Bedding, Excellent Soundproofing The mattress is just right – not too soft, not too firm – I fell asleep instantly. The duvet is soft and breathable. The soundproofing is exceptional; with the windows closed, you can't hear any street noise. It's wonderfully quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of Gangnam, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The air conditioning/heating control is precise, making it comfortable to stay in any season. Plus, there are plenty of USB ports, so no need for adapters – super handy. 💁 Attentive Service, Multilingual Support The 24-hour front desk staff are warm, efficient, and can communicate effortlessly in Chinese, English, and Korean. Check-in and check-out are a breeze. Housekeeping is meticulous daily, replenishing supplies promptly. They can also help arrange taxis and book attractions, which is a great stress-reliever. There's a free gym (with new equipment) and a public lounge, suitable for both business travelers and leisure guests. 🍳 Delicious Breakfast, Korean & Western Options Galore The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including Korean kimchi, bibimbap, and porridge, as well as Western bread, coffee, and fruit. Many items are made to order, ensuring freshness to kickstart your day. Whether you're in Gangnam for shopping, a business trip, or a romantic getaway, this hotel is an excellent choice! Its location, ambiance, service, and value for money are all top-notch. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul. Highly recommend!

The location is fantastic! It's super close to the subway station and the airport bus stop. Plus, there are convenience stores like CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, and shops like Olive Young and Daiso right nearby. So convenient!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to Sinsa Subway Station, and if you stick to the main road, there's no steep hill like some photos online might suggest. It's right next to Seoul Forest, and you can walk to Apgujeong in about 10-15 minutes. There's also a three-story Olive Young just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which is super convenient! While the rooms aren't huge, the soundproofing is pretty good, and the shower water pressure is absolutely fantastic! If you stay here, definitely make sure to check out the cafe on the top floor – the views are amazing. Overall, highly recommend. (Pics 1 & 2: Hotel rooftop cafe/bar. This location is perfect for a super short weekend trip if your sole purpose is to see a show at KSPO Dome, with no sightseeing plans. From Seolleung Station, it's just one stop on Line 6 to Seonjeongneung, where you can transfer to the Line 9 express to Olympic Park (be aware that if you're taking the subway to the airport, it's the same line but in the opposite direction, and it's best to avoid rush hour as it gets incredibly crowded). First, the pros: The front desk staff can communicate in English. The bathroom provides disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and basic toiletries. There's also a convenient check-out process, and the accommodation terms are printed in multiple languages for easy reference, making it generally foreigner-friendly, especially for introverts. Within walking distance, there are at least two or three convenience stores, ensuring you can grab hot food even when returning late, which is reassuring. The downsides are that getting to and from the airport isn't convenient; it would be a real headache if you're in a hurry. Also, fully sealed windows inevitably affect hygiene; without regular ventilation and natural sunlight, bedding is more prone to breeding bacteria. So, if you're traveling during the coldest or hottest times of the year and need to stay for more than two nights, this is likely not the optimal choice (you'll either be cold during showers or hot while sleeping, which can be quite uncomfortable).

During winter season you're not allowed to turn aircond. Just open the window and you'll feel a little bit better but not much. Everything is good and there's airport bus stop just right behind the hotel. Convenient store nearby, Subway just 8mins walking.

This hotel is conveniently located near Seonjeongneung Station on Line 9. Take exit 3, walk straight for about 100 meters, and you'll find it right next to McDonald's. It's super easy to get here from Gimpo Airport – just take Line 9 directly, which only takes about 40 minutes. The subway fare is incredibly affordable! There's an OLIVE YOUNG nearby that offers better prices than other locations, so it's a great spot to stock up. I ended up buying a lot! 🙈 It's also very close to COEX (where you'll find the Starfield Library and plenty of brands for shopping) and Bongeunsa Temple. If you book early, the price is quite good. 🐷🐷🐷 However... the hotel is a bit old and showing its age. The air conditioning is very noisy, so I had to turn it off when sleeping (it wasn't cold without it). The flush button in the toilet fell off with just a touch, which was a bit awkward. As is common in Korean hotels, they don't provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers, but you can buy them in the lobby for a reasonable price. When I needed a taxi, the front desk was friendly and helped me call one. Overall, I'd still recommend it, as it has its pros and cons. If you're not too picky, it's a good place to stay. 🦁 I've included a subway map for those who are new to the area, for reference. This is just for your information.

1. They told me to check in with my reservation number, but everyone who booked through Trap (the booking platform/app) couldn't use theirs. It was quite a scene with everyone calling the reception, and I had to call too. This definitely needs to be improved. 2. The capsule room is connected to the locker room, so it's a bit hard to sleep without earplugs. It would be much better if they added a door to the sleeping area to make it quieter. 3. After booking, you get a key card and a receipt. The receipt for the public bath also comes out, which can be confusing. If you're not using the bath, it might be better if that specific receipt wasn't issued to avoid confusion. 4. Aside from these points, I had no issues during my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel POCO Seongsu. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Seongsu Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the trendy cafes, restaurants, and pop-up stores around the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although the room size was compact, it was thoughtfully designed and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was especially comfortable after a long day of exploring Seoul. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever needed. I also appreciated the lively neighborhood, with plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby. If you’re looking for a hotel in the heart of Seongsu with great accessibility, cleanliness, and value for money, I highly recommend Hotel POCO Seongsu. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul! OP

The hotel's location is super convenient, right near a subway station. I thought it was great value for money, especially for a holiday. For the price, everything was pretty good – clean and tidy. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
