"I spent a long time choosing a hotel in Seoul because I was staying for over ten days. At first, I was worried this hotel might be a bit old since it's been open for a while, but once I checked in, it really exceeded my expectations!
**Environment:** The stunning curved river view window offers daily views of the Han River's blue skies and white clouds, as well as the beautiful night lights of World Cup Bridge. The view is incredibly expansive.
**Facilities:** It has a smart toilet and a bathtub, and the mini-fridge is big enough for some drinks and a few snacks. There's also a small table for working. Since I stayed for over 10 consecutive days, I'd go to a nearby laundromat to wash clothes, then use the drying rack in the room to air them out.
Before booking, I read some negative reviews mentioning sewage odors and poor soundproofing. However, my stay was consistently very quiet, and I experienced absolutely no sewage smells. I slept wonderfully every night.
There's a delicious kimchi stew restaurant nearby that I went to several times, and a Starbucks right across from the hotel. Within a five-minute walk, there's a fruit store, Ediya Coffee, several convenience stores, and a self-service laundromat. The bus stop is right downstairs. The fried chicken pub next to the bus stop has really good fried chicken – in my opinion, it's just as good as Kyochon and BHC.
Overall, it's a comfortable and incredibly high-value hotel in Seoul!"
"The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The lobby is clean and grand, and the room layout is practical, tidy, and odor-free. The bedding is very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water comes on instantly. The toiletries are also of high quality. The staff are gentle, polite, and very responsive to requests. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, making it my top choice for accommodation when traveling."
"This hotel is suitable for couples. I went to check in late, but the staff served me. I'm happy with the good service. The room is clean. The pillow is very comfortable.
In the trip, we took the Airport Limousine bus and got off at Hapjong Station, walking distance about 200 meters, not far, not dangerous, I like it, I will stay again when I go to South Korea.
You can leave your luggage free of charge"
"My room type came with a microwave, which was very convenient for meals. However, the floor was quite slippery, and the slippers provided made it even worse; even a little water on the floor made it treacherous. The hotel is surprisingly close to the subway station, much closer than I expected, and it was generally quiet for sleeping. My main complaint is about some inconsiderate Korean guests who were often running and playing loudly in the hallways or dragging tables and chairs around in their rooms late at night, making it difficult to fall asleep. While the room was spacious, it surprisingly lacked a table and chairs for this room type, which made eating and drinking quite inconvenient as there was nowhere to sit. Most other room types seemed to have them. I tried to communicate with the hotel about adding a table and three chairs, but they didn't arrange it, showing a lack of flexibility. Also, the breakfast was quite good and varied, but I couldn't understand why the heating wasn't on and the air conditioning was, making the B1 restaurant feel like an icebox."
"Location is perfect! 2 minutes walking distance to seonyudo station and there’s A LOT of coffee shop, especially internationa famous Starbucks just next door.
English speakers are available but maybe they could be more friendly in attending guests. However, rooms are beautiful and clean. Housekeeper were very friendly and helped with things we requested! Overall stay was wonderful~ Will stay again when i visit seoul next time."
"Location: First time staying in Yeongdeungpo; it's a short walk from the airport limousine bus stop so that was convenient. There's a Starbucks and C U convenience store right outside the hotel. YDP station and Lotte Department Store are a short walk away, though I recommend taking a short bus ride to the Hyundai Department Store. It's also near the Yeouido Hangang Park.
Room: Layout is a little strange as other reviewers have noted, and indeed there's very little space to open your suitcase. I placed mine at the wardrobe area, which meant it was a little difficult to access the clothes I hung up. I liked the two couches against the window.
Toilet: The sink is the first thing you see when you enter the room. I didn't like how the shower and toilet shared a door, and there's no bidet for the toilet. Water pressure and temperature control for both the rain shower and handheld shower were good.
Bed: Fairly comfy, however it was the first time I've ever experienced a creaky hotel bed.
Miscellaneous: Might be a minor thing for most but the room slippers were a joke...the top part was literally paper and difficult to slip on and off because of the way the paper was folded. Fridge was small and not very cold but did its job. Lobby is small and only has one seating area, so it's not a place to chill or wait around long. Staff were friendly, and I was allowed to check in slightly earlier than 3pm. Checkout was fuss-free."
"Convenient location in the Hongdae area, with Hapjeong Station being the most practical station for getting around. There is a CU right across the hotel, and a 7-Eleven and GS25 nearby.
Check-in was smooth and easy. When I extended my stay, I was able to keep the same room without checking in again, as I booked the same room type. Very convenient for solo travelers.
The room was clean. There was occasionally a slight cigarette smell, but it wasn’t a major issue. My favorite part was the beautiful view from the window.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again."
"The location is great, right in the heart of Hongdae, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. However, the room was a bit small. Services, from the front desk to housekeeping and the swimming pool, definitely need improvement. Overall, it wasn't great value for money."
"The rooms are very clean and the staff are super friendly. The bathroom was unexpectedly spacious. On the second floor, the common area has plenty of power adapters, hairdryers, and hair straighteners, plus a first-aid kit, so you don't need to bring your own. They also provide lots of towels. There's a Daiso right next door, and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The bus stop is directly in front of the building, making it incredibly convenient. Definitely recommend! 👍👍"
"This is my first time encountering a hostel with one-on-one service! The front desk staff, a young man, was absolutely wonderful. He even spoke Chinese! He was so worried I wouldn't find the place that he sent important information three times and then followed up repeatedly. Thanks to all the precise pictures he sent, the location was super easy to find! And what a great location it is! It's right near Hapjeong Station Exit 7, next to Olive Young and Daiso, with lots of street food downstairs! I actually really liked that the other guests were mostly quiet foreign women; there was hardly any noise. I hope everyone remembers to be considerate and not make a lot of noise in the common areas or rooms, so as not to disturb others! Oh, and the free breakfast was fantastic too! I honestly can't believe this price for a place in Seoul, South Korea!"

Great
AAichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!
GGuest UserThe room was a bit small and the price was a bit high. Service was okay. The hotel has Wi-Fi. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. The hotel isn't old and there weren't any strange smells. It's still a decent place to stay. The location is very convenient, right in the heart of Hongdae, with plenty of great places to shop and eat nearby.
GGuest UserPleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers).
BBasGTiny little hotel room but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel pyjamas were an unexpected amenity and cute. Breakfast at the rooftop bar was especially tasty, with a supply of blankets, and beautiful views that made it one of our highlights. The lobby scales to weigh our luggage also helped alot with packing for our flights. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and looked after our bags while we explored after checkout.
MMonkumaIt was very nice hotel. Room was big enough for 4 people and 2 beds were also
big enough to sleep. ( 2 queen )There were big fridge, freezer, washing machines and dryer. ( no soap)
Amenities were only shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
The hotel is located between Myeongdong exit 10 and Chungmuro.
The hotel has wow pass machine and convenience store.
Staffs were nice and room was clean. ( I just see some dust left on the corner of room but it is not big issue )
Over all we loved to stay here and if we have chance, we would like to stay again.
EEddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.
AANNASHEThis hotel is located above the OLIVION building, with the subway exit and Myeongdong's main entrance right outside, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The elevator can occasionally have a short wait, but the overall location advantage is unbeatable. The room space isn't overly generous, but it's actually slightly larger than the Ibis next door. The main difference is that the Ibis front desk is on the ground floor, while this hotel's front desk is on the 17th floor, making direct access a bit less convenient. Considering the location and price, it offers great value for money, and the overall stay experience was very good. A very convenient hotel.
GGuest UserThe room had bunk beds, and the location was really convenient. It was only a 3-minute walk to the subway station, with a pharmacy and convenience store nearby. It's also very close to that popular spicy chicken feet place. My bed was near the restroom, so there was a slight musty smell, but overall it was quite clean. The first floor is a common area where you can do some simple cooking (like instant noodles and toast) and boil hot water. Check-in is at 3 PM daily. This is my second time staying here, and I'm still quite satisfied.
AAnonymous UserIt's not really excellent but You get what you payed for.
Aside from they only provide small size face towels.
My only complain is they should no longer provide towels with discolorations and stains.
Check in is strict 3pm
Check out is 11am
No elevator
No own kettle inside the room but u can use the pantry on the 4th floor with microwave.
Near subway station line9 naebang.
大大阪名物This hotel is just right for a 2-3 night stay. My check-in was scheduled for 5 PM, but when I asked if I could store my luggage, they actually let me check in at 3 PM. The nearest major station is Gangnam, so getting around by bus is quite convenient. If you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a taxi. Given the hilly area, a combination of bus and taxi would be ideal. I chose a standard double room, which is perfect for those who prefer showers. The only minor issue was a slight cigarette smell.
