"The location was good, next to gofukumachi station, but still requires a little bit of transfer if taking the bus. The hotel was not bad, large bed. However I must mention that there is a bad smell coming from the shower. This seems to correspond to previous complaints by other guests. The breakfast was highly competitive and has almost no space for the guests. This said, the breakfast was high quality."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!"

"If you're just looking for a place to stay, this hotel offers great value for money and is clean, so it's a good choice. We stayed here as a three-generation family this time. The room for three people had comfortable beds, which was nice, but the shower room was quite small, which was tough for the elderly. If you want to soak in a bathtub, you'd have to go to a public bathhouse near Hakata Station, like ”Yaoji-no-Yu.” Hakata is convenient because there are rental bikes everywhere that you can drop off at different locations."

"It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel is small, a typical business hotel. There's a small convenience store across the street (staffed by Indians, didn't buy anything there). The front desk area is small and can get crowded when there are a lot of people, so it seems like business is good. The front desk staff followed procedures exactly, without much of a smile throughout. If there was a communication barrier, they used a translator. I booked a twin room for over 1200 RMB for one night, and they unexpectedly charged a consumption tax of 400 RMB, which is one-third of the room rate! How could it be so high? I specifically asked about it, and they used a translator to say it was a mandatory charge. I understand paying tax, but one-third of the price? I wonder if others were charged that much too, but I wasn't charged this tax at my hotel in Tokyo the day before. Luckily, I only booked for one night and switched hotels the next day. The room was small, and the window couldn't be opened at all. It got stuffy without the air conditioning. For breakfast, you choose one main dish from four options, and the rest is a buffet. There weren't many dishes, but it was enough to fill you up."

"Superb! Everything is beyond my expectations. Hotel rate has become insane in Fukuoka for the time period of my visitation. Initially Okura was my last option coz their room rate seemed still fair as a 5 star hotel. Luckily I had hesitation coz it doesn’t really worth it for a solo traveller only for sleeping and eventually I found this hotel! Hotel staff are all warm and polite. And I think they really check on your special request. Special thanks to the male staff that assist me with my check in. Sound proof is great that you hear nothing inside the room even when the housekeeper was cleaning next door. The air con is strong enough and gentle though. Majority of hotel guest is mandarin speakers but anyway, overall I had a very pleasant stay in here. Lastly I am not American, the review here always shows that I am American but I am not. I am Asian from a small place. And the steak house right next to it is just very so so."

"I've stayed at Mitsui Garden hotels several times during my trips to Tokyo and always had a good impression. So, when I saw a great price for their Fukuoka location, I booked it without hesitation. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. The highlight is definitely the public bath (sento); although not large, it's impeccably clean, and you can enjoy a relaxing soak while gazing at the moon. On my last day, I needed to do some personal work, so I requested a late check-out. The latest they could extend was until 1 PM, costing 2000 JPY per hour (tax included). The front desk handled my request quickly and efficiently, and the service was very nice. It would be perfect if the room's internet speed were a bit more stable."

"Small but perfectly formed, this hotel has everything you need, including pajamas in the room and a capsule coffee machine! It's right above Exit 3 of Akasaka Station, which is super convenient for shopping in Tenjin. Plus, there's a famous motsunabe (offal hotpot) restaurant right in front. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Fukuoka!"

"I was worried because there were no reviews, but I liked that the check-in process was contactless and via QR code. The interior was also spotless, as if it hadn't been long since the building opened. It was really, really good... The location was about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, but considering the price, a 10-minute walk was definitely acceptable. There is a large 7-Eleven just a 2-minute walk from the accommodation, so it was convenient to buy snacks before heading in. Six of us could stay comfortably, and this is the first time I've stayed in a place this spacious in Japan. It was just so good."

"Located in Nakasu, it's an 8-minute walk straight to Hakata and a 13-minute walk to Tenjin. The hotel is opposite the new wing of Cancel City, and you can walk through the mall to reach other areas. There's a 7-Eleven across the street, and Lawson and Family Mart are nearby. The hotel rooms are small, but the TVs have internet access or can be cast. The public bath has only one square bath with eight shower stalls, two of which were temporarily closed. There's an ice bath and a sauna/steam room, but it's quite small, accommodating only about four people. You need to bring your own towels to the public bath. Dormy Inn is quite professional and considerate. The new hotel is very clean, well-lit, and the service is excellent. The mattresses are of average size, and each bed has two large pillows. There are no disposable slippers, which is a hygiene concern. It's recommended to bring your own slippers, as they don't clean them daily; you need to notify them before leaving each day for cleaning, towel changing, and trash disposal."
