Overall, it was a decent stay, likely an established hotel. The air conditioning unit was quite loud; we had to turn it off to get some quiet. Otherwise, the surroundings were relatively peaceful, and the area was good for exploring. A major inconvenience was that the hotel is located on the second floor. Checking in required us to carry our luggage up numerous steps, which definitely needs improving. Additionally, the duvet in the room was incredibly thick. I'm not sure what material it was, but it made a loud rustling sound with every turn. It was too hot to sleep under, yet too cold to sleep without. Considering we paid nearly 1000 per night, we didn't feel it offered good value for money. If the price were under 500, it would be much more in line with its overall offering.

Very central hotel near Motomachi station - right in the vibrant Chinatown area. Good budget accommodation with simple but tasty breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were more spacious than others we paid more for. Recommend.

The hotel's location is excellent, right within the Motomachi shopping street, yet surprisingly quiet. Next door there's a lovely coffee shop with great coffee and delicious bread. Several famous old coffee shops like Nishimura, Kohshodo, Taco, the bakery Riki, and a drugstore are all within a 1-2 minute walk. Daimaru department store is conveniently located at the entrance of the shopping street. It's about a 3-minute walk to JR Motomachi Station, and you can reach Osaka Umeda in about 30 minutes. Sannomiya, Kobe, is roughly a 10-15 minute walk away. This hotel offers easy access to everything. What's particularly impressive is that the hotel cleans the rooms daily, which is not always common in Japan. Even if you don't require a full cleaning, they'll hang fresh toiletries and towels on your door. Although the room isn't huge, it's perfectly fine for a solo traveler. It's clean, well-maintained, and offers incredible value for money, truly exceeding my expectations and making my trip more enjoyable. The front desk also has staff who speak Chinese, and everyone is incredibly patient and always smiling. The service is truly top-notch.

The facilities are simply perfect. The front desk on the second floor has a bar that offers 2 glasses of wine or sake for 300 JPY. Free soft drinks are available from 3 PM to 10 PM, and you can chat, relax, or even work in the restaurant area. The room is spacious and not cramped at all; I could open a 30-inch suitcase without obstructing movement. There's a small desk, and the bathroom is even better, with a small chair and a stand-up shower. It's super close to outdoor gear stores like Arc'teryx and directly across from Daimaru.

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Motomachi Station on the JR line in central Kobe. They even have a natural hot spring bath, free ice cream, Yakult, and ramen for a late-night snack! However, because it's so popular and there are a lot of guests, you often have to queue for breakfast. On a few days, if we went a bit later, there were no seats left, and we missed out on breakfast entirely.

Good location but poor amenities and services, no water was provided in my room and there wasn't coffee available in the morning too, the bedsheets were dirty! What's the point of paying for 4star hotel when I have to do everything myself? Coffee Machine in the lounge was also off n there was no hot water at the lounge too! After check out apart from luggage deposit there is no customer service afterwards they said no when I asked for hot water, in the middle of a snowing day!

While the hotel's location isn't as bustling as Kobe's Sannomiya commercial center, it offers excellent value for money, considering its convenient transportation, shopping, dining options, and the hotel's facilities. Opened in 2023, the hotel is very new. I booked a 21 sqm Superior Twin Room, and it didn't feel cramped at all. What I particularly liked was the separate wet and dry shower room, making for a very comfortable shower experience. The hotel elevator goes directly to the basement, where a left turn leads straight to the ticket gates for Hankyu and Hanshin Electric Railways. A right turn and a short walk through the underground shopping street takes you to Kobe JR Station. For major Kobe attractions, including Himeji Castle, you'll primarily use these three railway lines (there are also many subways and buses, but they're largely unnecessary). Day trips to downtown Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, and other places from this hotel are very convenient and affordable. Outside the hotel and in the underground mall, there are plenty of restaurants for dinner. What I loved most were the two large supermarkets downstairs: Life and KOHYO, which offer many delicious and safe Japanese snacks to satisfy any craving. Many fresh food items start getting discounts in the evening, including sashimi, sushi, and tasty bread, which you can buy to eat in your room. Microwaves are available on the 6th and 10th floors. The hotel service was very responsive to requests, for example, when I asked for an extra pillow or daily coffee packets. The hotel's drawbacks: the duvet was too thick, and although the air conditioning kept me cool, its noise affected my sleep; the refrigerator was also a bit noisy. As a side note, for those traveling independently, getting to the hotel from Kobe Airport: take the Port Liner (elevated light rail) for 18 minutes (340 yen) to Sannomiya Station, then transfer to Kobe JR, Hankyu, or Hanshin lines, and the hotel is just 2 or 3 stops away.

500m from kobe tower. We select this hotel because there is japanese style room with public Onsen available. Big room for 4-6 members can be fit. I recommend the hotel team to clean the air con as so many dust but there is Air humidifier machine set up inside the room too. Thank you and we love it.☺️

It's a bit of a walk from the station. The famous internet-famous church cafe is just a three-minute walk behind it. There's a Matsuya downstairs, perfect for breakfast. I stayed in a double room by myself and had plenty of space to open my suitcase. All the essential amenities were there, and the lighting was adjustable. I thought the service was great; the front desk always greeted me when I came and went.

Had a great stay here! The location is perfect—super close to Sannomiya Station, which made getting around a breeze. The room was nice and spacious, really comfortable. The area is safe and quiet at night, so I could actually get a good night's sleep, which is so important when traveling. Highly recommend!
