An old-school Japanese ryokan. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained. The onsen (hot spring) is definitely the highlight, though it's a shame there's no outdoor bath. It's mostly locals staying here, which creates a really nice atmosphere.

Satisfied! The location is great, within walking distance to major attractions like the Science Museum, Nagoya Tower, and Nagoya Castle. There are also many convenience stores and dining options nearby, making it super convenient. Definitely recommend!

The stay at BASE LAYER HOTEL Nagoya was overall a pleasant experience, with a nice atmosphere and a modern design that created a comfortable and welcoming environment. The location is very convenient, as the hotel sits within walking distance of Sakae Mirai Tower and Oasis 21, while Nagoya Castle is also not far away. This location suits travelers who prefer to explore the city on foot. The room size is suitable for two people, with a well-organized layout that makes efficient use of space. The hotel offers useful facilities, including luggage storage, laundry service, and an iron, which support both short and medium-length stays. The staff are friendly, maintain a warm attitude, and provide attentive service, which enhances the overall experience. However, some dust appears in certain areas, so guests, especially those with dust sensitivity, should take extra care. Despite this minor issue, the hotel provides good value for money, and I would choose to stay here again on a future visit to Nagoya.

I had a pleasant stay at Just Inn Premium Nagoya. The room was spacious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the variety of pillows available for selection. I really like this hotel overall. If I had to point out one small inconvenience, it would be that they don’t accept Apple Pay….. you’ll need to use a physical card when purchasing extras like breakfast. But honestly, that’s just a minor issue! 😊

Being a Marriott property, the facilities, service, and cleanliness were all quite good. It's very close to Nagoya Station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the underground shopping street also offers many food options. Getting to the Sakae shopping district is convenient as well.

Have stayed in 4 different hotels in Nagoya and Osaka for my trip. I can say this is the best one with no doubt (and the low cost one). Clean and tidy everywhere, including the spa area. Great service and location as well. Walking distance from subway and all the shops along the way. The famous coffee shops are all around. Have not tried the breakfast this time, but I will definitely choose this one again when I revisit Nagayo.

It’s a nice guesthouse divided between two building. There are many amenities, in the check-in building there is a nice cafe with coffee and food. It is close to subway and several nice cocktail bars. The only drawback was insects in the capsules that bit me :( should be desinfected.

This was my first solo trip abroad, and I chose to experience 9hours in Japan. Overall, the environment and hygiene were much better than I expected. It's also conveniently located close to the JR station. The only downside is that the soundproofing inside the capsules isn't great, so you can hear snoring.

The room had small windows, but the size of the room itself was decent. The only issue was when I checked out, I wanted to store my luggage, but there was no one at the front desk. I had to wait quite a while until the receptionist returned before I could successfully store my bags.

I can only say that the price we paid when booking 2 months in advance was somewhat justified for this hotel. The exterior looks decent, but the inside is very old and worn. My biggest complaint is about the escalator. Since the front desk is on the second floor and we arrived around 2 PM, the escalator was only going down 😓. There were stairs next to it, but our luggage was too heavy for us girls to carry up. After searching for a long time, we found that if you want to use the elevator, you have to go through the main entrance, then turn left and follow a 'secret' path. There's a button 🔘 at the entrance; press it to let the front desk know you're checking in, and they'll open the door! However, when we came back in the evening, the escalator was going up 😓. Maybe we just arrived at the wrong time! Service: The female receptionist's attitude was mediocre, no smile, and she seemed rather unenthusiastic. She felt a bit stern! Facilities: The hot springs ♨️ on the third floor downstairs are quite nice and seem to have been renovated recently. They feel out of place with the old, worn-out hotel! The room facilities themselves are quite complete, but the soundproofing is a bit poor!
